Excellent service and great amenities. Why bother with the strip?

Great hotel off the strip. Lots of activities for the kids to do (pool, arcade, movies, bowling).

Overall Good Hotel

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Nice hotel with good sized rooms. First impression was very positive but overall, the experience was just ok. The hotel beds were uncomfortable and the hot tub was heated to the temperature of a lukewarm tub. Overall, an OK experience but not great.

Experiences at Red Rock Casino

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: This casino is very clean and the odor of cigarette is somewhat limited compared to the down town casinos.
Cons: Perhaps providing the guest upon check-in with a map of the premise.
Location: There is a large open shopping complex next to the Red Rock Casio which is within walking distance to shop and eat.
This was my first stay at the Red Rock Casino and I want to thank the staff at the crap table and card gaming for making this trip enjoyable. They were friendly and respectful.

Christmas - New Year

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: CONCIERGE was AWESOME!!
Cons: For NYE, maybe a shuttle to go somewhere close enough to see the fire works. I went to Iceland and the hotel did that after dinner as a package.
Location: The hotel was far from the strip but had a shuttle so it was fine. I wasnt looking to be at the strip but closer to Mt. Charleston.
The hotel was great. The employees were very helpful. I had to rent a car since I wanted to go skiing at Mt Charleston. They helped me with the rental and were able to meet my annoying needs. I was worried about the snow and ice so I needed an all wheel drive but not comfortable about driving a large vehicle and needed a usb port since I was using my phone as a navigation. They got all with no delay each time. I wanted to treat myself for the holidays and ordered flowers for my room. Again I am very specific about what I want and requested a type of flower. Concierge contacted the florist and found my flowers and were able to keep the cost reasonable.

Great stay. Kid's loved it! Only one set of hotel elevators so you may have quite a long walk to get to them from your room.

Beautiful resort off the strip

Posted Apr 7, 2015
As locals we strive to find staycations that offer quality and cleanliness! Staying at over more than 10 different hotels in the Las Vegas area, this is mine and my husbands favorite. It's so clean, it has the friendliest staff, so many things to do on property, kid friendly, and great choices for dining! There's only 2 small things that were not the greatest, one was that they only have one set of elevators to the rooms and if you are staying all the way down the hall, the walk is horrendous, and exhausting. Two, is that we stayed on a weekday and if you want to bowl you have to wait until after 10pm due to the bowling leagues. It's so Un- accommodating when as a guest you cannot have access to all the facilities on property. Other than that I'd rate my experience 100% satisfaction.

Nice family destination away from the Vegas crowds

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Pool
Cons: Allow people to bring in a bottle of water to the pool. Lobby smelled of smoke from the casino.
Location: Red Rock Canyon, Shopping
Nice staff, lovely facility and comfortable rooms. Only bad thing is the fact that pool guards will search your belongings to make sure you're not trying to sneak in a bottle of water to the pool area. I understand alcohol and cheeseburgers, but they really need to lighten up on a bottle of water or snacks. People should have a choice whether to spend a premium for pool service or get up and get your own light refreshments.
