The staff was wonderful. And I liked the little tucked away bar. But! This hotel is very shabby, and rundown. The worse thing though, is that it smells. The room smelled, the hallways smell. And it is not a pleasant smell either.

The location is the best, it is right at the main park center. lots of shops downstairs. the hotel has great sound proof structure with double panel windows, so even though outside is partying, the room is super quiet. however, i do find lots of stains on the bedding and toilet seat. cleanness can see some improvement. overall, great place to stay, the hotel has lots of history with old fashioned elevator, which is very cool to experience.

This hotel is old and charming with a good service but some bedroom need to be remodeled and to replace windows by anti noise cause we can hear the music player from the street The carpet is old but the bed is confortable

Yet again, our second time staying here, the review remains the same. The hotel was wonderful, the staff was excellent. We stayed for a week and the rooms were cleaned everyday by a very hardworking nice lady. The hotel has a vintage elevator that is pretty cool. The staff was very respectful, nice and helpful. The front desk called for our taxi to take us to the airport and the driver was the same from last year, the taxi driver they have has been working for them for 25 years, he is extremely knowledgeable of the area, a very nice man. They are all very trustworthy, helpful and very nice. You are in the middle of Leon, everything is there right outside, it is secure and conveniently located. It was the most perfect stay. We highly recommend it!

The Room didn't have air conditions instead they place a floor stand fan. It was very hot. The toilet, sink and shower smells bad specially at night the view fron 3 windows from the room was Walls with cracks looks like ready to collapse I took pictures from my phone and ready to post it so can customers think about twice before booking there, a pair of shorts Adidas brand disappear from one night to the other. I report all of this issues and nobody give a answer, I report it to Expedia, the next I left the room and the customer service representative try to talk to someone at the Hotel Leon they told her that Nobody speaks English, that's a laid cause I see a bunch of Americans at the restaurant I can public the picture I took anytime upon request. HONESTLY I DON'T RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED IT, you may see the pictures of the lobby looking nice but the room I was assigned # 219 forget it, my wife and my self were very DISAPPOINTED IT.

Summer is hot hotel
We have been frequently to the Leon restaurant which is very very delicious. Yet when we booked we didn’t know that there was no AC and it was unbearably hot. No Rooms with AC are available they tried to move us to a bedroom w two widows so we could open them to aire out the heat and gave us to oscillating fans but it wasn’t what we wanted. We had to leave early that same day to another hotel. They didn’t reimburse us our money as we had showered.

Location is the best. Property is old fairly well maintained. A/C didn't work well at all but the room had 2 fans and they worked fine for us, thus we didn't complain or ask to move. Room had iron/board, hairdryer and a safe. Bar in hotel is cute/ convenient. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Buena ubicacion, centrico, el restaurante super bonito y rico. Las habitaciones estan viejas, hacia demasiado calor, no servia el aire acondicionado y tuvieron que poner ventiladores de pedestal en el cuarto. El elevador esta bonito pero es viejo y no puedes tomarlo cuando quieres, tienes que esperar a que un trabajador te abra/cierre etc

The hotel was wonderful, the staff was excellent. We stayed for a week and the rooms were cleaned everyday by a wonderful lady. The hotel has a vintage elevator that is attended by an employee, in our stay we met 2 very wonderful young men working it, Alan & Angel, they were very respectful, nice and helpful. The front desk called for our taxi to take us to locations and to the airport, the taxi driver they have has been working for them 25 years, he is extremely knowledgeable of the area, they are all very trustworthy, helpful and very nice. You are in the middle of Leon, everything is there right outside, we went to La Feria de Leon, it was the most perfect stay. We highly recommend it!

Good option for a short visit to Leon. Historic hotel on a pedestrian street right next to the main plaza. Art Deco style, with many original fixtures intact. They even have an old-fashioned elevator with an operator. The rooms are worn but quite spacious and generally clean.

The hotel is having some renovation but we did not hear any construction noise. The room was large and comfortable. I loved the decor and charm of this older hotel. The location was great. It's in the city square with street performers and venders. Easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. Make sure to visit some of the churches on the area. The architecture is amazing.
