Les Veys Vacations

Consider a visit to Les Veys. Les Veys is in Normandy, a region known for its wonderful rural landscapes, beaches and coastal plains.

The national capital Paris is located 160 miles (257 kilometers) east of Les Veys.

It's hardly surprising Les Veys is a perennial favourite with travelers; the region has been blessed with terrific attractions. If your schedule allows it, head 14 miles (23 kilometers) to get to Saint-Lo. Here you can visit the Musee des Beaux-Arts and St. Lo Cathedral.

While you are staying in Les Veys, don't forget to head to Caen. Approximately 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the east, this regional transport and shopping hub is home to Zenith de Caen, Abbaye-aux-Hommes and Eglise de la Sainte Trinite. Caen has much of interest for visitors happy to stay for a day or two. Universite de Caen, Memorial of Caen and Caen Castle are a couple of other points of interest sure to delight.

To really understand a place, you need to revisit the past. Normandy's fine old old towns provide a wonderful starting point. Enjoy a little culture, learning and lore with a little sunshine and fresh air at Normandy's fascinating open-air markets.

Pack your own equipment or rent it locally, and discover the region's water activities. Swimming is one option. Another one is canoeing.

Good things must come to an end, but be rest assured, when it's time to leave Normandy, you'll still have plenty of wonderful memories to enjoy.
