Our room was a little dated, but it was awesome! It was roomy. Had an excellent ocean view. Had a nice round table and comfy chairs so we could play games. Large TV, microwave, fridge, and close to things in town.

The photo when I booked was very different than the room. The staff were super nice and but the place itself was really rundown. The linens were clean but the coffee maker was dirty, all the furniture was chipped and/or rusty. The walls were had patches of different color paint. It was just really not comfortable, very janky. Good views

For the price this property was very run down and dingy. Repairs and maintenance were seriously lacking. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel was similar to other older Oregon Coast hotels. The hair and underwear we found in our room upon arrival wasn’t welcome.

This is my second time staying here. Right on the beach, 15 minutes from shopping or dining and 10 minutes to beach access. Staff is friendly. Definitely recommend.

Affordable and friendly: The welcoming staff was professional with a quick and cheerful check-in. My room was huge, clean, and comfortable: The mattress was heavenly: I fell asleep immediately, which isn't the norm when I travel. The lodge was fully occupied but there wasn't a noise problem. I heartily recommend The SeaHorse.

The tv didn't work so the manager came up to fix it after a few she got it working but the volume didn't work on the remote, she didn't offer to replace it knowing it wouldn't work, After she left i noticed a roller for the bottom of the chair leg was laying under the table, I put it back on but when i set on the chair it just kept coming off ... Then the next morning after my wife took a shower she warned me that the shower drain was plugged with a few inches of water in the tub, I went to look at it and saw it plugged with hair and slime so i definitely knew it hasn't been cleaned in sometime.... We only stayed there one night, It all started when we checked out on Friday after 2 nights there at a different hotel and started heading home and decided to go out of our way to McMinnville and stop by Alfs ice cream and get a shake on the way back to salem , We were sitting there and i said hell with it let's go back.. The cottages we were at was full.. Wish we would of made another choice or kept heading to Salem.

Definitely needs updated. The deadbolts and locks were rusted. You could feel the springs in the bed. Friendly staff, but definitely needs some updating. Wasn't like the picture, for sure.

We were in a ground floor room which was super convenient, but a little loud when people walked upstairs at night. We loved being able to stay so close to the beach!!

It was an oceanview hotel in which I reserved an oceanview room. Upon arrival, they said I had a partial view room but they could upgrade me for additional fees. There was coffee and coffee maker in the room, but no cups. The bathtub had a horrible leak that dripped all night.

The view from the room is awesome! The beach access next to the hotel is about 124 steps.. so just be prepared for that. Many other easier beach access points close by though.

Horribly dirty, the best part is that it was on the ocean with an incredible view. Staff was polite but there was literally clumps of hair on the bedding, stains, mold in showers, bugs in the window sills, dusty furniture you name it

Hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and pretty large. The spa was great too. Love the ocean view too. The bedding sheets probably needed to be washed and dried again.

Everything was great except for the lack of restrooms in the pool and hot tub area. There were too many people in there on a Saturday. Ot was overcrowded and I wonder about it. I did also see a young boy peeing in the corner.

Well I checked in thinking that I was going to be reserved online was that there wasn’t the lady was nice, so I let it go,my husband and I had I just traveled 200 miles came into the room and started looking because I am a housekeeping manager the room was absolutely fithy took pictures of it downstairs to show the ladie and she didn’t even look at them she took me into a very clean room and told me that I could have that one for more money. I didn’t have anymore money and She offered to refund my money, but where would I go because that would take 2-3 business days. so we have no choice but to stay at this hotel…. But good news is a rotten TV. Dinner in the microwave from whoever whenever was last here. and Cheerios over by the TV. Hair everywhere and sand in my bed , this room was not cleaned at all BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

An older hotel so did not expect perfection BUT!! We could not turn off the fan/light in the bathroom. My pet peeve at all hotels NO GRAB BARS in the tub/shower. The tub floor gets wet and slippery with soap and there is nothing to hang onto except the shower curtain when you try to step out of the tub, your foot slides bang down you go broken hip, wrapped in shower curtain.. The bed was comfortable. Need screens on the windows, they were open when we came in and there were at least 10 flies on the inside windows. Our dog had fun trying to catch them. Might be better without carpet which is very old, patched, stained and stale smelling. Great location and wonderful view of the beach. TV ..what a trial to figure out no local channels?? 2 remotes to try to figure out which one worked only streaming channels of shows that aired over 30 years ago was all we could find. The only "local news" and weather channel we could tune in was for Los Angeles or Boston. Nice and quiet at night, did not hear the neighbors just the ocean and birds.
