Amazing place
We had a fabulous time staying at the apartment. we have a small 8 month old baby and the apartment was equipped with everything we needed which made our stay very relaxed. Sylvia couldnt be more accomodating and helpful. we had a fantastic break away which was much needed as new parents! we have nothing negative to stay and recommend staying here! unforunately 2 nights in a row another guest in the next apartment had a problem with some noise coming from our apartment. the first night we arrived around 9pm and after being welcomed by sylvia we unpacked our babies cot and other belongings, we also had a pizza delivered, we werent expectionally loud at all. The guest next door banged on our door around 10:30pm and said 'be quiet' we apologised. however the following night around 10.30pm again our baby was cooing a little louder than usual, the guest came out and shouted 'shut that child up' we were completely shocked and let sylvia know what had happened and it was dealt with very proffesionaly. we can assure anyone reading this review we were not overly loud and this is a reflection on the unreasonable guest and her anger issues. we feel we have to explain this as we would not want anyone to be put off staying here. it is a quaint, beautiful apartment, fantastic location and fantastic hosts!

Small, but nice
Place was convenient to old Town of Lisbon. Quite a hike uphill from the train station. (Take a cab!) Apt was clean, check-in was easy. But just be aware... It is very small. I'm 5'10", 193 lbs. And I had trouble getting in and out of the shower.

Cute but small
The property was in old town. It was much smaller than expected and is suitable for two people max. Two rooms had floor to ceiling window/doors that opened onto Juliet balconies. They provided fresh air in the flat.

Alfama Delight
The second bed was not made up because we were listed as two guests. Perhaps we were not clear enough in that regard. It was quickly remedied. The bathroom is exceedingly tiny, especially the shower. That should be mentioned in the listing. The location was great and the host Manual and his employee Silvia were very helpful and warm in their hospitality.

Great location in Alfama!
Great location and easy to get to anywhere in Alfama. Tram 28 is half block away. Copenhagen Coffee Lab is 2 minutes away. Sylvia was a wonderful host and gave us great recommendations for all types of restaurants. Tasca de Bela is a wonderful tasca for dinner and fado. Beware of very steep and narrow steps up to the apartment. Obrigado Sylvia!

Highly Recommend!
Came here with a couple friends for four days and it was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend if you are just looking for an easy place to crash after long days exploring the city. Perfect location too!

Great location, fabulous hosts
Great location for a base to explore Lisbon. Walkable to “downtown” plus plenty of local spots in the winding lanes of Alfama neighborhood. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating (our plane arrived late but we were still met at the door with keys and an overview of the apartment). Any and all questions were answered super fast and they accommodated a late check out for us. Only downside was an incredibly small bathroom/shower.

Great place, great location!
The place was exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for a central place to sleep and plan to be out and about most of the time - then this place is for you. Just steps away from a local trolley station that can get you where you want to go. Thanks so much and will definitely stay here again!

Nice apartment in Alfama
My daughter and I stayed here and it was perfect for the two of us. Great location, very near the trolley line. The check-in process was easy and Silvia the property manager was extremely helpful and offered many restaurant suggestions. The apartment is located in the historic area so the building is old and the staircase has very short steps to the apartment. Overall, it was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great suite! Great location!
Great location in old town of Lisbon! History of city enjoyed by walking and taking bus! So many fabulous restaurants in walking distance. Silvia was wonderful and was a huge help settling us in on a very rainy day arrival! Apartment was cozy but good for two people and just a heads up, shower was very small and narrow! But we would definitely stay here again for a couple of nights !

Great stay in Lisbon
Manuel was extremely responsive and Silvia was very flexible on-site with the check-in process considering our flight delays by over 2.5 hours. Place was small but perfect for the 4 of us (2 adults & 2 teenage girls). Comfy beds, linens and towels provided. Size & narrow stairs are typical for this area of the city but a great location - walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and Lisbon attractions. We all enjoyed our stay here.

great stay!
This flat is small but it was perfect for me and my 2 teen children. Like the other reviews state, the stairs are super narrow and the shower is tight. I'm small so was not a big issue for me but would be for a medium or a larger person. It comes with a washer, no dryer but we visited in July when it was hot so it was not needed. We used the clothes line outside of the balcony which was perfect. Our clothes were dry in no time. They even supplied some laundry pods although I did have to purchase more because I had a lot of laundry to do. Silvia, the owner/manager, was great. We arrived very early and she was so accommodating. She worked with us and were able to check in early which was a life saver. The location is awesome! I am so glad I booked it. Having the tram steps away was so convenient. It made it easy to venture into town and come back during the day to rest or freshen up and go out again. I could not have asked for a better location. The view out of the bedroom window at night is of a church, its lighted and it was such a peaceful scene to stare at from bed. I plan to visit Lisboa again and would love to stay here again.

Awesome little apartment in the heart of alfama!
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. The host was super helpful with the check in, the apartment had everything we needed and it was nice and central. We hope to come back one day!

Amazing Location & Cute Apartment
Absolutely love the location of this apartment near the Alfama old town area! So many restaurants and shops around. The apartment was PERFECT for me and my fiance. The property manager was super friendly, gave us great recommendations and communicated with us very well! Highly recommend this property!

Bright and airy, top floor apartment
I love my stay at this apartment. As it’s on the top floor, it’s beautiful and bright and has modern windows that can be open for a beautiful cross breeze. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, places for you. The last place I stayed in was party Central so this was a welcome change. Your soundtrack is church bells in the distance and morning Birdsong. The famous tram 28 is a few metres down from your door and there are lots of restaurants, uphill and downhill. The stairs to get up to the third floor, a little on the Steve side and the shower is a little narrow, but I expected this from a building with such ancient bones. I would like to stay here again.

Fantastic stay in Alfama
The property was very clean and easily accessible. Silvia was there waiting for us on the street right when we arrived from the airport which really helped with finding the apartment. The views are beautiful and the apartment is in walking distance from anything you would want to visit in the city of Lisbon. Highly recommend this place for someone visiting Lisbon in the future.

Cozy suite for the agile
The suite was quaint and quite in the heart of old Lisboa. A few stairs the climb to the flat but the #28 tram was just at end of the alley. Our host Siliva was amazing. So... helpful with looks of tips and great restaurant suggestions. She checked with us several times which made us feel even more than welcome. If you can handle some steep stairs, this place is perfect and priced right too. Robert 🇨🇦

Cozy Breezy Clean Traditional and Location!!
This property was part of a historic apartment building. As we walked along the streets we wondered "what's behind that door?" This place let us feel some immersion into local life in Alfama!! VERY clean, bright.. two balconies allow you to see down a historic narrow street to the water. Sylvia was amazing!!! Accommodating, inviting and warm! She answered any questions we had almost instantly!! They had everything you need available in the apartment!! Just enough room for our family of 4. Thank you so much!! This is a definite "stay again!"

Appartamento piccolo ma molto carino, pulito e appena ristrutturato. Per due/tre persone è perfetto. Zona eccellente, in 20 minuti a piedi sei in centro e comunque il tram 28 è sotto casa. Comunicazione, disponibilità ed elasticità tutto super. Il bagno è un po’ piccolo per persone in sovrappeso e ci sono scale ripide e strette nel condominio, tutto molto caratteristico e tipico della bellissima Lisbona, ma chi ha problemi deve tenerne conto. Per me assolutamente consigliato.

Excellent séjour !
L'accueil de Silvia était parfait et très chaleureux ! L'appartement était conforme au descriptif et très propre. Le fameux tramway 28 passe juste en bas de la rue, très pratique pour se balader facilement sans trop marcher avec les enfants.

The apartment has everything you need for your stay. It is perfectly equipped, comfortable, well-maintained, and very clean. Moderne kleine Wohnung in Herzen von Alfama
Die Wohnung liegt in Alfama in direkter nähe zur berühmten Straßenbahnlinie 28. Es sind nur wenige Gehminuten zum Aussichtspunkt Portas do sol. Die Wohnung selbst hat ein gut Ausgestattet Küche, ein kleines modernes Badezimmer, ein schönes Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnbereich mit Schlafcaoch auf der bis zu 2 Personen gut schlafen können. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und neu Renoviert. Wir haben uns bei 3 Übernachtungen sehr wohl gefühlt. 3 Erwachsene konnten gut dort schlafen. In direkter Nachbarschaft liegt ein tolles Frühstückscaffee.
