This property is NOT as advertised. Visitors beware! The photos on the website paint a lovely picture. That is not the case. The room is old, and dingy, with decaying furniture, and the lock on our window was broken, the terrace door falling off the wall. There is various verbiage listed around the room that read "We are not responsible for missing items." Even in the safe! When we brought up these concerns to the staff they just said "We can put you in another room tomorrow that looks more similar to what was advertised." We checked out after 30 minutes and found accommodation elsewhere. They will not issue a refund, though we were told they would and it was up to Expedia. I realize now they said this to appease me and get me to leave. Expedia has been wonderful, trying to get our money back, but the hotel is refusing to issue a refund. I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Truly a disappointment to Portuguese hospitality.

Pros, good location close to transit and walking distance to water and sights. Cons, for some reason they did renovations while we were out and came back to drywall dust all over our stuff!!! Bathroom is tiny and would not be able to accomodate anyone who is slightly overweight you would not be able to get to the toilet unfortunately.

It’s a 2 star hotel which reflects in property condition and indifference of staff. The only upside is the location being in rossio square with heaps of dining and sightseeing opportunities. No hot water or wifi on third floor room. Apparently they fixed the hot water issue when apprised of it, however, at best it was luke warm. Wifi didn’t work for 2 nights that I was there, apparently they were going to call a technician but that never happened. Small room and bathroom with hardly any space to move around. Noisy street which is understandable in city center, however, no soundproofing whatsoever. Not worth the money for the inconvenience that come with it.

I had booked a room with a queen bed. All they had was a room that had a very low ceiling. It was slanted and so inconvenient. They told me if I did not like they would not have another room until the next day. So I had to pack again and move to another room. They had a hard time understanding English. Like the location the service was not good.

Basic hotel in fab position within the old town. Very close to Rossio square. Had an issue with hot water, hotel moved us to a different room. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Good value for money.

This property is located in a excellent area. However, the room was not clean and the hotel was not supportive in providing hot water. The staff was rude and showed attitude.

I like the area it was convienient, to find food shopping it is central to many transport and the tram line. the hotel is ok, however it is important that guess have tea making ficilities ie a kettle in the rooms, i needed hot water for my medication but the hotel did not supply these facilities. i will definately use this hotel again but hope they take these reccomendation and provide a kettle to guests when required. The breakfast was ok staff was very nice, friendly and polite.

Hotel is good and very convenient area, staff and manager the hotel really helpful, 1 things need to point out about the steps they need to put hazard sign and press button in breakfast area, breakfast is very good definitely will be back and stay there we do enjoyed

Not as advertised. WiFi waste of time too.
I was in room 318. WiFi awful. Cut in and out… mostly no signal. Spoke to desk about it three times… they weren’t helpful. They lacked patience and were rude. Issue not resolved over the 5 day stay. The advert states bath and bidet… my room had neither. I spoke to front desk about it, showing them my booking which states that was part of their advert. They said they didn’t have another room… I checked online. They had a triple, but they said I couldn’t have that one.

the hotel is in a great location, the room was extremely tiny and very dirty, the corners of the room and close to the walls were black and dirty, the shower had black mold growing in the corners and ceiling and mold in the tile grout. The hotel lost power for a day but no one seemed to care, the Wi-Fi only worked for one day out of three.

When I first arrived they gave me a room that I bumped my head on twice since the ceiling was so low. That was not the room I selected. They told me that if I did not like it I could change in the morning. It was not convenient for me. The person at the desk could not understand me. That was very frustrating. I loved the fact that the hotel was centrally located.

This hotel has a bed bugs. My wife could not sleep. She was bitten many times and has severe skin reaction to that. I killed few of them during the night.

The reception people are horrible (and that is very kind for the morning guy). Parking (what parking) they don’t even help you with your luggage. Had to stop traffic to unload luggage and nobody there to help you. Location though is great.

Very cheap so you get what you pay for. Rooms are small, breakfast is very basic, decor is tired but rooms are cleaned every day, staff are friendly and the location is amazing. Would definitely stay again just don't expect space or luxury.

Room was very small with very small entry door, had to climb on chair to turn in AC as the remote didn’t turn it on nor would it change settings, shower was not clean and one door was falling off, the sink filled up quickly and drained very slowly, and power goes off for everything including the fridge when key card taken out. Pillows were small and very thin. Front staff were not friendly and refused to make change when paying tourist tax.

If you like a hotel which is noisey 24/7, walls have no sound proofing, dirty curtains and dirty walls, mould in the shower and very poor house cleaning and a bathroom door which does not fit into the cavity providing no privacy whatsoever when using the toilet, then this is the hotel for you. The location was fantastic supermarket next door, eateries everywhere and a few minutes walk to the shopping malls and transport. If someone put some money into improving this hotel it would be a resounding success.

Mediocre Hotel in Great Location
There are both good and bad things to be said about this hotel. Of the good things - people working reception were nice and accommodating, the rooms were clean and the beds nice. There was AC and the hotel is in a great location, especially if you plan to take day trips out of Lisbon. However, there are quite a few things to take note of: 1) the electricity in the room is only on when your card is in the reader on the inside of the room - a good energy saving measure for sure - but it also includes the mini fridge, so one either needs 2 cards (one to keep in the reader 24/7) or no intention of using the mini fridge outside of hours you’re in the room 2) the bathroom layout (at least in our room) was pretty bad; There was barely any space or storage for toiletries except a very tiny shelf that held almost nothing. Hooks were placed in odd spots so that anything hung on them would’ve rendered the rest of the towel rack unusable. Additionally, there were no hand towels or hand towels hooks, and they kept taking and not replenishing the towels I put on the makeshift hook. There were minor signs of overall age and disrepair, but nothing very concerning.

Loved the two grocery stores very close, as well as all the dining options. Disappointed in my room, #309. Very low ceilings, kept hitting my head. The cooling didn’t work in the room either.
