Property was clean and in a good location. However even though the website states "Storage area for luggage" this was not available either before or after my check in which caused a lot of issues. I was told the hostel never allow this as their rule. I have never had this policy before and especially disappointing given it says it is possible on the website.

The heating doesn’t work and it was cold and the room was humid and dirty I didn’t sleep even I tried any ways it was so so bad experience in this guesthouse

It's very good value for money. No frills basic clean accommodation. It's near to Lidl, the metro and the 28 tram so for budget accommodation it's an excellent choice. It's in a multicultural part of the city and the locals are very friendly and you will be amongst people from all over the world.

Nice clean accommodation for a good price
For the one night that we had to stay in Lisbon, it was a good deal. Clean and simple. Not a five star hotel but satisfying enough. I would recommend it to anyone who just need clean accommodation aspeacealy for a short stay. The rates are great too.

Whatever you do! Do not book here. No one’s available to talk to. The place looks very shady. You cannot use the elevator because it’s old. A resident came out with anger cause we trying to knock at the receptionist on the third floor. We did not feel safe n left the place. Expedia asked for a refund but they refused to give. We are very upset for not getting refunded. Please pay a tad extra but don’t stay here

No recomiendo este hotel, es un edificio muy viejo y en mal estado en general; el ascensor es muy viejo y corres el riesgo de quedar atascado a cualquier momento; el baño tiene moho en la ducha y las sabanas y to hallas dan asco, están manchadas y huelen mal, la puerta de entrada al edificio no funciona la cerradura ósea cualquiera puede entrar sin problema, es muy inseguro para los clientes que estamos ahi dentro. Fue una pésima elección de hotel que he hecho en mi vida.

Sooooo, I would only stay here if it’s my last resort. Having private bathroom for $60US was a good deal but there’s a very loud bar right below so it was pretty hard to go to sleep early. Also it was an urgent booking so didn’t know this place was part of a residential building. Had hard time trying to figure out check in.. the first floor you enter is actually level 0, and the office is located at 3rd level, which is in real life, 4th floor. Very dark building, bed was clean with no bed bugs but overall kinda old. I had to leave early in the morning so I legitimately just needed a bed and shower so it did the job at cheap price, but I would find something else if I had to stay longer.

Really old town house, no soundproofing, but close to the central area by walking distance. Easy to find; less then 5 mins walk to Lidl (supermarket); around 10 mins walk to local restaurant. Oh yeah they didn’t respond how to turn on the television with the satellite box; no one would like to help. Staff were really less-responsive, almost 1 day to response. You also needed to wait their check-in time - means 4pm to 10pm - to request hairdryer if you forgot to ask them at the first glance. They even rejected to leave it in your room door. As for the cleannesses, paid how much to get how clean :) but still can walk around by barefoot. They would ask you if needed to have cleaning per 2 days around 1-5pm. Normally they were late and knocked you door in sudden. That’s it.

Besides we were at 3 p.m by the reception and there was no problem receiving you earlier. As for the hairdryer, we tried to deliver but there was no one at the door and we wouldn't leave at the door because other guest could pick it up or could be smashed and the responsability is ours when that happens. Lastly, the cleaning is not charged, is completely free of charge. You miss rejected the cleaning, you only ask for towels and toilet paper. The cleaning staff was there before 4 p.m. We feel sorry that you thought it was a bad experience, but we tried to help you though. Thank you.Kind regards,LX Center Guesthouse

For the price it was great - Lidl was a 2 minute walk and an Uber from the airport was €8. Basic but clean , bit tired around the edges but value for money was 5*. Would stay here again for sure

Very bad stance
REALLY BAD experience!! From check-in, to the falling-in-piece bathroom... even the taxi this property arranged for us was disgusting: driver requested more money than the amount we agreed on when booking the taxi, and he left us in arrivals instead of departures.

I booked through Expedia and there was no mention the office was on the 3rd floor. If I didn’t have internet during my travels I would never have figured it out. Check in hours are very limited! Not all lights were working so it was dark up the stairs. Complicated keys for every entrance. Uneven flooring in common and room areas including bathroom. We could not leave luggage after checkout. This is something that most hotels offer after checkout. No maid service at all, so no clean towels. Room was pretty dirty, dusty, and bath tub was very dirty. The room above us had jumping dogs for hours on end. Expedia needs to change their description.

Yes , you can leave the luggage after check-out, just ask the receptionist.The only place doesn't have light is in the main entrance of the building, the hall itself.We didn't understand what did you mean with uneven flooring.As the maid service, you have it too. You may ask the cleaning staff half past one p.m.However the rooms were cleaned before you check-in. The bath tub wasn't dirty, only aging.As for the room above, you could ask for the receptionist so that the others guests to not disturb you. For me the place has two cons, the common zones are old I mean really old, but overall is the noise is a cheap place for party people, a group of girls came completely drunk and were making huge noise at 2.30am making impossible to sleep.

The lock to one of the doors was broken. It took 20 minutes to unlock the door with the key given, but it was too late at night to call for help. Apart from the lock, the property itself was clean and similar to pictures online. The staff was friendly, and we got what we paid for.

This property was ok. The room was clean and staff were very nice and helpful. They ordered us a shuttle to the airport without issue. They also printed off a map for us until we were able to get a better detailed one. There is a fridge which was great as a grocery store is literally 1 minute away. The only downside was the washroom. The shower was quite dirty and moldy. It definitely needs a good scrubbing. Wear flip flops in the shower just in case.

Fine but lacking
No cleaning done. Reusing dirty towels by letting them dry somewhere... No shampoo/bathing gel either. Local area is pretty central and easy to get to. Not recommended for long term stays, only for a night or two.

Hello, Thank you in advance for your comment and rating. Rooms are cleaned every day, except when the customer prefers not to. If you have placed personal effects on your bed, it is likely that the person who does the cleaning has not done so since they are not allowed to touch customers' personal things. For this reason we always ask customers to leave the bed free without suitcases, clothes etc. Bath towels are changed every two days, except if the customer requests a change every day. All rooms have shower gel and shampoo. If your room did not have these toiletries it was a mistake on our part and we apologize for the situation and next time let us know at reception so we can reset it. We hope to see you here again.
