Great hotel, beautiful area!Posted Oct 26, 2013
I stayed three nights in this hitel for holidays and can atest that: The hotel is beautiful, well kept and has very helpful and friendly staff The gym is very nice and has great equipment Super conveniently located in front of the trai station that takes you to Lisbon or Cascais (the walk to Cascais is beautiful and not too long, though!) Very good breakfast Great concierge! A great pastaleria across the street where you can enjoy pasteis de nata Having travelled to many countries in various continents, Cascais continues to be my favourite vacation spot. Tourist, yet very authentic. And in this hotel you will be well looked after and feel welcome always!

What a great 5* hotel!Posted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: Everything especially the location.
Location: Estoril beach and train station are a short walk away with historic Cais do Sodre only 30 mins and Cascais only 5 mins away by train.
This is the second time we have visited the Hotel Palacio and it won't be the last! The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Probably the best hotel we have stayed in.

Fantastic Hotel!Posted Sep 28, 2013
Having stayed at many 5 Star establishments I would rate the Palacio as one of my favourites. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and welcoming especially Paul the reception manager. This older hotel is kept in exceptional condition. Highly recommended!

Nice but wouldn't stay againPosted Sep 15, 2013
Cons: Pool definitely needs heating
Location: Masala Indian restaurant in Cascais is worth a visit. Lisbon zoo & Benfica FC are good days out and easy to get to by train/metro
We chose this hotel as it had a swimming pool, not heated unfortunately so only used once. It was rarely used by any guests as its freezing all day. Air-con in room not the best. No ironing board & iron or tea/coffee facilities in room. On a good note great location for beaches, trains in to Lisbon & Cascais. The spa facilities are great & treatments are reasonably priced.

An excellent place to stayPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: It is a luxury hotel with wonderful facilities and a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The best thing is the staff who are all kind and welcoming.
Cons: Nothing. We like it just the way it is
Location: Perfect location for a relaxing holiday, business, sport, whatever you like, it has it all.
We have been guests at Palacio for a number of years now. It is a great place to stay, very convenient location for the beaches, the station and within easy and safe traffic free walking distance of the many varied restaurants between Estoril and Cascais. We enjoyed excellent weather and an advantage of this location is the range of things to do and places to go if the weather is not hot and sunny or you want a change. For example of is easy by public transport to visit Sintra or Lisbon.

A very pleasant surprisePosted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: The buffet breakfast was wonderful. The quality was excellent as well as the quantity. The staff and service complemented everything.
Cons: The room was a little small.
Location: The beach was a short block away, as well as a Casino, the train station and many restaurants.
I thought that I was booking a hotel right in the center of Lisbon. When we arrived we realized that this was a beautiful vacation resort only 20 minutes away from the heart of the city by train.

Grand hotel in the ols stylePosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very good hotel and generally the service is good but it’s not a great location, not much around or to do Also let down by a couple of issues, they don’t allow you to use taxis dropping off they insist on calling a taxi because they obviously take a commission up to 40% more than walking to the taxi rank by the station 5 (mins) for a ride into Cascais. They also seem to have an 'approved' list of restaurants and if you try to book one not on the list, language seems to become problem or they don’t know the restaurant, disappointing!

A Real PalacioPosted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: The architecture of the hotel
Location: Excellent location in Estoril
We spent 2 nights at the Palacio Estoril. It is a beautiful hotel which is very well located. There is a beautiful broadwalk by the sea that takes you right to Cascais. The swimming pool area is beautiful and the spa in quite nice although it would benefit from some additional lighting. The restaurant is good but quite expensive.
