"Our stay was comfortable and we had been warned about the redecorations etc. going on. However, staircases were unhoovered and sometimes breakfast produce and equipment had to be asked for. We were not asked if we were happy with everything and staff were not really very interested in the personal side of things.
The swimming pool looked uninviting, with coiled pipes in the water."

"Good hotel, with parking included. My stay also had the steam room with hot tub included.
Close to some local shops and the 10mins drive away from the beach."

"We had a nice overnight in this hotel, the room was compact but comfortable. It was a shame that there were no tea and coffee making facilities as we expect this as a standard item these days. Otherwise breakfast good and location excellent"
A verified traveler stayed at ibis Deauville Centre
"Location of hotel is perfect, in the middle of town. Hotel has been done up, very clean. Plenty of parking out front (we had forgotten to book the hotel's covered carpark), but it was off season so might be a lot busier in the summer. Staff for check in and check out couldnt have been nicer and more helpful. Highly recommend!! "

"Everything was First class from the rooms to the staff to the facility and the restaurant. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was on the Normandy coast."
A verified traveler stayed at Le Grand Hôtel Cabourg - MGallery
"A last-minute overnight stay before I return home on the ferry out of Cherbourg. Having looked at all the options available in the area. This one stood out for its modern finish and excellent facilities. I was incredibly impressed by everything and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for one or more nights on the northern French coast. The only thing I would improve would be to offer more information in English for visitors who don’t speak French."
A verified traveler stayed at Hôtel & Spa - Thalazur Cabourg
"The first room we got assigned had no towels, a dirty shower and missed pillow cases. The reception said that housekeeping couldn’t come back to clean and we were assigned another room. It appeared that it was cleaned but the airconditioning wasn’t working in this room.
This property is old, not maintained (leaking air conditioning in the hallways) or cleaned (dirty carpets) .
Staff didn’t even care when I told them I had a terrible stay upon check out. They just smiled.
When paying 300 Euros a night I do expect more! "
