The bathroom was unfortunately filthy. The bath was unusable. The view was stunning and staff were fantastic

When I checked in I was allocated to room 28. The door latch was broken, smelled musty and some items missing in the bathroom. I spoke to reception and they offered me a change of room to room 30. This room was excellent. I slept really well. Overall my stay was a good experience.

Horrible experience
Bed so uncomfortable we thought of leaving half way through the night,really noisy, only food on offer fast food or coffee shop,very noisy,nothing good to say, first & last time we book a Days Inn, lesson learned!

The staff did not man the desk, had to go into services to find some one to help to check in. The staff did not add my registration properly to the system so was chased by a car parking company for a parking fine. Just not worth it stay somewhere else.

Spacious room. Friendly greeting upon checkin. Both myself and my partner seemed to be allergic to something in the room but couldnt put our finger on it. We were on the ground floor so a little noisy with people coming past window frequently and dogs barking when coming to their rooms. Lovely walk around Annandale Water in the morning

The only down side to the stay was lack of a local restaurant to get a decent meal. The service area has McDonalds, Costa, Cornish Pasty & an Asian takeaway, nowhere else in vicinity, which is a shame in view of otherwise excellent hotel

Large room, but not a luxury hotel
Only met one member of staff and she was OK - large room, seemed a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. Hotel is connected to the services, good if its raining! Room seemed clean, and the absence of mould in the shower (my pet-hate!) was good.

Great for a night
No frills, but perfect stopover whilst heading up north. We have a large dog and it’s ideal for him with a nice lakeside walk in the grounds.

It was our first visit for twenty years. The room and view as we remembered: wonderful. We especially appreciated the spacious of the room. Are they built like this any more?! At first we were shocked by the changes in food provision. But with the help of a nice girl at McDonald's we bypassed the normal electronic system. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

Stay was fine, just a stop over to break up the journey. It’s part of a service station so don’t expect high cuisine - it has multiple options though. We provided the car registration details for the hotel to give to the parking company but a month later got a parking notice. Took a couple of messages but got notice that the parking charge was cancelled. Annoying but got sorted easily enough.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, nice walk around the lake at the back to walk the dog. All in all a really nice experience; the only quibble was that the wi-fi signal was quite patchy in the room.

Fabulous location especially for those with dogs although we don’t have one. Taps in room dire but shower fine. Needs updating. Fast food dire in services next door. No wonder we have an obesity epidemic.

A nice stay with lake view from balcony
Its fair to say that it needs an update but the room was clean, spacious and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed to not have room cleaned or towels changed on the day after the first night but reception staff provided fresh towels when asked. View of lake was nice and sitting on the small balcony watching the birds was a nice end to the day. Its on a service area so only food is the rubbish fast food from the usual outlets, But the petrol station did have an M&S shop inside with cold drinks and a good selection of food.

Will stay here again!
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff who will help whenever needed. Beds are very comfortable and pillows are exceptionally comfortable, with extra different pillows available on request. Wish we stayed for more than 1 night.

Booked this as an accessible double , on arrival at hotel and after we paid we were informed that they dont have accessible double rooms. Our choice was a double room or a not very accessible twin. We did get compensation from a very helpful receptionist.
