Great for a quick stay
We only stayed one night but it worked great to be close by to Hocking Hills and where we wanted to hike the next day. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Property was what we expected. Easy to make a couple meals while we were there and everyone was pretty comfy in the two separate rooms. Only complaint was that the heater was a little noisy/rattly. Thanks!

Hiking and sightseeing
The heater was rather noisy. Also, we had to clean the bathroom floor when we arrived as it did not appear to have been swept. In addition we had to clean the stove as it looked like somebody cooked tomato soup and ran it over and the front of the stove had dry soup all over it. Would still return here for another stay in the future.

A nice get away
A very. Ice place to stay if you can get up the stone road with a ton of pot holes! We got stuck twice truing to get up the hill to our cabin. Oh and fine print on rental agreement states that 4 wheel drive or SUV is required during the winter months. .I wish I would have known that when I paid for the cabin at the very top of the hill .I will definitely stay her again .but bring a different vehicle

Fix the broken stuff
The front door was falling apart, the bathroom door sticks so bad you think you’ll never get out of there, the dvd player says it need Wi-Fi to operate and the hot tub temp was heywire most of the time and wouldn’t go over 102 but. Outlying stuck on 99 degrees! So wasn’t warn enough for the late fall (hot tub) and last but not least the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain which made it unusable! Had to brush teeth in kitchen sink. The directions were extremely hard to fallow took over an hr to find the actual cabin! I won’t be staying there again.

Nice, secluded getaway
Our family loved staying in this cabin. It was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed for a family getaway. It was a close drive to all the hiking and parks yet far enough that we were away from most tourists. The cabin had what we needed and we all enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings.

Loved the cabin, was clean! furniture a little worn/dated but is better than the pics, road to cabin would highly recommend all wheel drive/4 wheel drive any time of year, deep ruts, gravel gets spun out climbing the 2 steep hills but worth it to be at hilltop location, in the woods, setting so nice!! Entry door latch and bathroom door latches need fixed, asap! We kept getting stuck in the bathroom! Jacuzzi so nice and hot but only half the jets worked and no lights but was still so relaxing and my young adult children loved it too!! Could use an extra light at corner of rail by steps, extra fall hazard at night. We would love to stay here again, peaceful retreat! May want to bring your own towels, bath towels small and thin, glad we brought beach towels.

Beautiful place to stay! This was our second stay and it is very nice! Hard to get to if you don’t have four wheel drive. The bathroom door does tend to stick when you go to shut it completely. Also, a little humid in the cabin. Very nice otherwise!

Snug, Cozy Cabin
Overall we enjoyed our one night stay in Pineridge cabin. We would stay here again for sure, but would be better prepared next time. The owner was very responsive when we reached out. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was very cozy. Some things we would recommend or that we wish would have been mentioned in the other reviews/booking info: -Better stocked kitchen or at least disclosing the basics that are provided so we could bring what was needed. There were no measuring cups, hot pads, or cooking spay/oil so we were very unprepared to cook even just the pancake mix we brought. -It's well water, which we anticipated, so we had brought our own drinking water. -The floor had a thick film on it from the cleaning supplies used. It made it slippery and kind of slimy feeling. We all chose to wear our shoes the whole time because of the unpleasant feeling. -Screens in windows to allow fresh air without letting in bugs. The smell of cleaning supplies was so strong along with something else like cigarette smoke that we had to open up the windows immediately to air out the cabin. -The shower was hard to use because the shower head didn't bend down enough. I'm 5'5 and had a hard time rinsing off my body below upper chest area. Maybe a new shower head that bends more or one with a hose so it can be brought down would work better.

Nice overnight
We stayed here following Hippie Fest. We had a bit of trouble finding the place. GPS tool us to a nearby campground. But locals sent us in the right direction. Loved the hot tub! Would've loved the fire pit, but it was wet from earlier rain. Cozy & quaint. The well water had a bad smell... but it definitely beat tent camping.

A true cabin in the woods
We stayed for just one night and everything was great. The ride up to the cabin was a pretty bumpy so be prepared for that. We enjoyed the hot tub and building a fire with the kids. Our dog was with us and he had a fun time in the open air. Super easy check in and check out. Would stay here again.

Overall the cabin gave us a welcoming impression. The cabin was warm, bed and main cabin were clean and the hot tube was ready to use. Whiles I was looking for a larger tray, the only pretty dirty place was the lower shelf of the oven. Some furniture might need an update. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay, close driving distance to amazing trails, shopping, sunny spot on porch -perfect for reading a book, enjoyed hot tube, DVD and board game time. Family and especially dog already missing the great adventures of Hocking Hills State park.

Unfortunately, the electric was out so we couldnt enjoy the hot tub. The cabin which was listed as a max 6 people should be a max of 4. Two people sleep on pull out couch that needs replaced (dirty and could free springs). Was not equipped with anything for situation, we had a small barely working flashlight and one gallon of water to use to flush toliet. Wood was not provided for fire pit. So we were advised to make other arrangements for the night with refund request from owner. My 5 adult girls and myself had no other place to go so we stayed braved no heat ,water using phones for light to be told that it is a act of God due to outage and no refund will be awarded the next day. Tempurature was 41°outside. I do understand no control over this but this is not a very acceptable pratice to not offer something.

We love staying here, can’t help back giggle at the negative reviews. Cabin is clean, peaceful, nice layout inside and the hot tub and views outside are great too! We love being at the top of the hill and have so much privacy. We come to relax and enjoy the view and that’s what we did! We’ll be back soon!

Pine ridge experience
We were very pleased with our stay at this cabin. The fire pit and hot tub were the perfect amenities for our stay there. It is nice and secluded so we were able to listen to music in the hot tub and still enjoy our privacy.

Nice clean place, but the smell from the water/ shower was horrible it made us sick. Also small flys were coming up from the kitchen sink. Thankfully we brought drinking water. If we would of known about the water issue we wouldn’t of booked. Left a day early ☹️

The cabin itself was fine. The property was kinda trashy and overgrown. Nothing like the picture. The road (more like a cow path) was ridiculous. I would not recommend this property just because of the road.

The Pine Ridge Cabin
The cabin was back a bumpy road but we were warned about it and once we got to the cabin it was beautiful! Everything was clean, the cabin was furnished and there was everything we needed in the kitchen. Fresh towels in the bathroom. It was very nice, other cabins were near by so you didn’t feel like you were completely out in the middle of nowhere. The location of the cabins are very convenient you can pop into town if you need anything or you could get to hiking trails and other attractions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very disappointed by booking this cabin. The description of the cabin and the picture do not match the real thing. The pictures are probably from when they originally built the cabin. The walls are wood and covered with dirt and dust. The wall air conditioner was so noisy and vibrated the whole house when it kicked on. There are no screens in the windows so you can’t open the windows because of the bugs. There is garbage in the front yard, lots of bugs on the hot tub and filter, hot tub cover is old ripped and very heavy. The appliances in the kitchen are very mold and rusty with broken handle on refrigerator. There were no sheets for the sofa bed. The deck is very dirty, no one has cleaned it in years with broken chairs. No internet and very poor cell phone service. We were miserable and left early.

The entrance to the property from the street shows a berry disturbing display as soon as you enter. There’s a wasteland of old cars and debri and broken down trailers that are rather intimidating. Upon arriving to the cabin we discovered the gas grill on and a very dirty hot tub. The interior of the cabin had a moldy smell that almost gave me a headache. All of the bed linens were really moist and there appeared to be a leak in the living room ceiling. While checking the linens a lot of dirt was found on the mattress and the couch smelled like a dirty wet dog. We were forced to drive all the way back home after a long day of hiking due to the deplorable conditions and no availability to stay elsewhere. I messaged the owner requesting a refund and have not heard anything back.

The trek to the cabin was gravelly and steep but totally manageable for a front wheeled camri or a back wheeled pick-up truck. The cabin was beautiful, the hot tub was in great condition and the amenities were perfect for a short vacation like ours! Thanks for having us!

Cabin was cute. Not very clean. Water smells terrible. Beds were good. Nice propane grill. Hot tub had way too much chlorine, couldn't use for the strong smell. Shower is extremely small, hard to shower in. Overall, it's a nice little place, just needs some TLC. Definitely need a jeep, or something similar to travel the driveway, very steep in places, with alot of ruts, you really have to be careful or your car will drag.

We had a great time
Cabin itself was very nice, plenty of paper products and towels. It felt so peaceful and privet while both inside and out. Little disappointed to find some left over trash under the couch and decent amounts of hair in the hot tub from previous renters but it wasn't anything we couldn't handle. The distance from cabin to trails and local food was perfect, the road is a little bumpy coming in but that makes it exciting. We would absolutely stay again.

Nice cabin but not very clean and not a good location. The drive in you pass a trailer with tons of garbage and several car parts. Very rough, narrow, one way drive to get to cabins. The water in the cabin smelled horrible. We did not use the water at all except for bearing one very quick shower.

Overall the stay at the cabin was good. Road leading up was a little rough but made it with no problem. The cabin could have been a little cleaner. No refrigerator handle. Lots of dust under beds and T.V. an chairs. There was plenty of kitchen and bathroom supplies. Nice grill. Hot tub the chlorine was extremely strong. It is a very large hot tub however. The location leading up to the cabin road was very undesirable. I'd never stay there unless an adult male is with you. ( I do not believe this has anything to do with the property owners) Those listing this on VRBO may want to check it out.
