Relaxing weekend away
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend away. Everything was perfect. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. Everything we needed was there. We brought food to cook so we would not have to leave to eat. I think there are restaurants within 20 mins. We took 1 day to explore Hocking Hills. Short drive there. We'd definitely stay here again.

I'm so happy to read that you enjoyed your stay. A note for future guests, there are restaurants 2 miles away on the other side of the lake and 3 miles away in the town of Logan. This cabin is on State Park Lake Logan which is within the Hockinghills region. Hockinghills is a large area and we are in the heart of it. Everything is within 10 - 15 minute drive. Sisters weekend
The cabin was nice and clean. Comfortable beds. The stairs however are brutal. Persons with handicaps probably won't be able to maneuver them, and you have no choice but to use them if you want to get to the living areas. Good cabin for young people but not us older folks!

The cabin is on three floors with two full flights of stairs. It is not suitable for handicapped people or people with mobility issues. The listing has a complete description of three floors. I'm sorry that you did not understand that there would be stairs. Thank you for leaving a good review. I'm glad you found the beds comfortable and the cabin clean.

Beautiful Home
We had an amazing time in the Frontier cabin. There is a bedroom and a full bathroom on each floor, which was perfect for our trip with 3 couples. The surroundings are so serene and quiet. The house was clean and welcoming. We used the hot tub and the fire pit after days of hiking. The extra fridge downstairs was so convenient.

Frontier cabin
Our stay in the frontier cabin was great. It felt secluded but we were close enough to drive to all the Hocking Hills attractions each day. The cabin was a perfect fit for our family of four. My husband and I took the main floor, my teen daughter took the top and teen son took the bottom. They were thrilled to each have their own full bathroom. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening after hiking in the mornings, grilled out for lunch, roasted hot dogs and made smores at the campfire and stayed up too late watching Netflix. The games were a big hit too.

Wonderful private cabin in the woods
My wife and I stayed in the cabin for a long weekend. It was a wonderful and secluded weekend. The cabin is located close enough to everything we wanted to see in the park yet far enough out to be very private and quiet.

Lovely Weekend
Had a great weekend. The house has a bedroom and bathroom on each level which was great for three couples. Great common areas and the listing descriptions and pictures are accurate. Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful property, highly recommend
We stayed over Christmas. The cabin was beautifully decorated. Very close to Hocking Hills and Logan Ohio. Plenty of entertainment with large hot tub and game room. Be careful if traveling with persons who may have trouble navigating steep stairs.

Adorable Cabin - Perfect Weekend!
This cabin was amazing for a girls weekend! The property had plenty of space, giving us each our own bedroom and bathroom. Lots of places to sit and relax - a great front porch, raised deck with rocking chairs, back deck, fire pit and hot tub! The fire pit was large with plenty of seating and we loved the projector lights on the trees outside, it was so special! The hot tub was huge and really clean and we used it quite a bit. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfy - great kitchen and dining as well. It was also super close to everything we needed, 10-15 min from all the major hiking trails we wanted, the town with food, winerys nearby etc. Wonderful stay!

Hidden gem
This was a great cabin to spend the weekend with friends. The location was close to all of the hiking trails and yet still very secluded. We spent hours around the fire pit and in the hot tub with a brand new deck! The Roku TV was great for watching anything that we wanted to watch and the furniture and beds were very comfortable! We would stay here again.

Amazing place

Girls Getaway
This was a fabulous place for me and the girls to spend a relaxing getaway weekend. The house is beautiful and fully furnished. The kitchen is a dream - with everything you need. The hot tub was excellent and had a nice roof to cover us while it was raining. Everything in the house was quality!

First time to Hocking Hills
We booked this as a first time scouting trip of the area. The location was absolutely perfect because we were close to the state park and hiking trails but also close enough to town if you forget something. The cabin was very clean and they provided easy contactless check in via timely email. They had family friendly games…a great way to unplug and reconnect with each other. We cooked primarily on the grill that was provided and over the campfire. We used the hot tub briefly…there was an issue with the upper jets that the owner was aware of and they did confirm that it occurred right before our check in so they were putting it in the fix list. Everything else was in good working v order. Kitchen well stocked, but a pizza pan would be a great addition because the cookie sheet wasn’t wide enough. Thank you for a great stay…we have already referred some family members and will be back again!

Pretty Good Stay
I liked this place and the owner was kind. Unfortunately, the internet was dropping constantly (not the owners fault) and previous guests didn’t leave the place as clean as I would have liked (once again, not the owners fault). I tried to leave the place better than how it was left. Honestly, I wish I could have stayed another day or two to take advantage of the items provided.

I can’t say enough how wonderful this stay was. As a 10 year veteran of staying in the Hocking Hills, I can say this was the best yet and we will return. Evelyn is kind and caring and the cabin was well maintained and clean. (I’ve stayed in some dirty cabins). Top notch and definitely a cut above.

Enjoyed the weekend very much! Fireplace and hot tub were just what we needed! Quiet location. Bathroom towels could use replacing - thin & scratchy. Would have been nice to have a few more towels also. Kitchen knives are very dull and we couldn’t find a cutting board or tongs - may want to consider adding. Overall very nice cabin and a very relaxing weekend!

We do replace them often. I think maybe I'll try an electric knife sharpener. I'll take a look at the linens and replace them as well. Christmas Wonderland🎄
Perfect place to celebrate a belated family Christmas! Cabin was decorated beautifully for the holidays and was clean and well stocked. Each couple loved having their own bedroom and bath. Plenty of space for family games and gift exchange around the fireplace and Christmas tree. Large hot tub on secluded back deck was perfect spot to watch the snow fall and spot wandering deer. Would love to come back in warmer season to enjoy fire ring and outdoor games. Only suggestions would be to provide softer bath towels(ones provided were sandpaper rough) and some type of shelving in bathroom on main level for guests to place toiletries. Thanks for making our Christmas re-do memorable.🎄We will be back!

Well maintained property
This was a planned trip to bring a family friend who was born in Ohio, but moved to Florida with her family when she was a toddler, so had not gotten to see our beautiful state as an adult. We chose October as a time of year we thought she would enjoy with the leaves changing, and it was beautiful! My husband, daughter, son-in-law and family friend all enjoyed the property. We gave her the upstairs bedroom and she said she slept great! I was very pleased that all our needs were taken care of by the owner - from dish soap to shampoo - we all had what we needed. While we did not use the laundry, it was so nice to know it was available if it were necessary. The appliances were all high end and worked well. We did not use the hot tub or the fire pit, as it had gotten pretty cold the couple nights we were there. The fireplace was a relaxing spot to sit in front of and chat. While some may chafe at the owner's "rules," it makes for a clean and well maintained property for everyone who stays there. We were very satisfied and happy with our experience and would stay again.

Perfect family getaway.
We took our three kids (ages 9, 14, and 16) and there was plenty of space in this lovely cabin for us all to have our own space while still being close together. The cabin had everything we needed and the hot tub was a hit with everyone! The surrounding area is beautiful, quiet, and safe. When we had a question, Evelyn was quick to respond and checking in was a breeze. Thanks to the owners for maintaining such a clean, comfortable cabin!

Our family loved staying in this cozy cabin! Super close to all the sites in Hocking Hills, plus easy to access town and main highways. The rooms are comfortable and we had plenty of space to gather and spread out, depending on our moods. We enjoyed the porches, the hot tub, and the game room. The kitchen was perfect for cooking simple meals, which we preferred after day time hikes. The owners are friendly and accessible. Be sure to read and follow the renter's agreement closely.

Perfect Family Getaway!
This was our first time visiting the area and we will 100% be back! The home was just as described, clean, and spacious for me and my boys ranging 4-15. There is so much to do surrounding the cabin and all were quick to get to. The ladies were so kind and easy to work with! Very responsive. Again we will definitely be back!

Quick family get away
We had a wonderful stay at the Frontier cabin. We had plenty of room for myself, husband and 4 young adult kids. The cabin was very clean, in excellent condition, and the location was perfect. It was easy to communicate with the owners. We used the hot tub, and the grill, and there were many games for both inside and outside provided. In response to the steep steps, yes, the steps were steep but there are handrails provided along the steps for safety. Great stay!

Advantages of this cabin are close proximity to Old Man's Cave area, hot tub under cover, kitchen well stocked, fire pit and gas fireplace, comfortable beds. One thing to note is that the stairs coming up from the ground floor are very steep and could be hazardous for little ones and older ones who may get off balance easily. Also if you were hoping to "work from home" the wifi is not adequate, but wonderful to "get away from it all"

Lovely Hocking Hills Home
We had a great Easter weekend stay! Modern, clean, extras, really nice amenities. About halfway between Logan and the state park and hiking, so it was a perfect location. The detailed rules seem like a lot at first glance, but if you’re respectful of places you stay, it’s not onerous. I suspect it keeps away the folks they don’t want staying there :)

Worst vacation rental
Cabin management charged us for cleaning the doorknob to the front door & ruining the finish with an abrasive solution. We didn’t even clean the front door handle. They had cameras so I asked for proof. Had to fight to get a refund. Very rude and dismissive.

Perfect Escape
We were in need of an escape from the stresses of jobs and this was the perfect escape. I can't think of one thing I would change. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were satisfied with our accommodations. Communication with our host was almost instantaneous. We had such a wonderful weekend! The cabin was all we had hoped for! Clean & comfortable! The people across the street feed the deer. So, their were deer EVERYWHERE!!! We went outside as they passed through our yard & they did not runaway! They were unphased by our presence & continued walking and playing with each other. We intend to revist this cabin!

Beautiful Christmas in the woods
This cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. It was all decorated for Christmas which made us feel warm and cozy and the kids just LOVED it! Everything worked very well and we enjoyed amenities such as the fireplace, grill and hot tub. It was one of the best christmases ever!
