Excellent apartment for my short stay
Apartment was in a great location, not too far from many places I wanted to visit during my trip. Easy to access when coming off of the interstate as well. It was very comfortable and the owners were very accessible and communicative when I needed them.I would definitely stay here again when returning to Los Angeles!

Great stay in Glendale
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was to our liking and the hosts provided snacks and essentials. My only complaint is that the sofa bed is firm and the living room didn’t have curtains to block out light from outdoors.

Amazing location
We really enjoyed staying in this property. The hosts are first rate and have thought of everything - and the location is superb. Perfect for Universal Hollywood in particular - which was our main reason for visiting. The thoughtfulness of providing groceries on arrival sets this property, and specifically its owners, apart from other rentals. Everything looks like it does in the pictures and the neighbourhood feels really safe - which was a consideration for us when booking. This rental is a credit to Vrbo - thank you for letting us stay here! We loved it.

Glendale; Centrally Located (to what we wanted to do in and around LA)
My kids (3rd & 5th graders) wanted to go to Universal Studios for their spring break. Looking at the Giants season schedule, I wanted to take them to a baseball game. Win-win, with this Glendale Vrbo rental! It’s close enough to the 5 freeway, for access, but not so close as to catch folks using the surface streets to Waze-around traffic jams (gotta admit, I avoided rush hour driving). The apt’s interior styling is exactly as pictured and there were no surprises. The buildings exterior is very understated and if you’re unfamiliar with California apartment architecture of the era, you will be forgiven for mistaking it for an early 1970’s office building among the block’s other business addresses. The greatest asset was the on-site building management team of Ray and Sandy. They were available to help out in person when I had trouble with the coded lock. The kitchen was stocked with cooking tools and eggs for our first breakfast😋 Maybe it was leftovers from the prior guests, who were from Europe, but it was great to have cereal in the cupboards and milk and butter in the fridge! The one caveat I have on this Vrbo is that there is no security for your car. Parking is in a carport built into the building and it’s a tight squeeze and there was inches of clearance for my 2014 Mazda SUV. If I had special tires that raised the roof-height even a little above manufacturer standards, I would have been in trouble. But all went well; would definitely stay again.

Excellent communication, made it easy to check in. Loved having essentials in the fridge and cupboards. My only suggestion would be to maybe have a foamie for the cot, to help make it a bit more comfortable. We would stay here again! Thank you!

Great location and nice stay
We stayed here while visiting family and we loved the proximity to attractions such as Universal Studios, which was very easy to drive to. The parking spot was so nice to have and easy to get in and out of. The place was well furnished with everything we needed for our stay and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing that I would caution to others is that there was a lot of noise from neighbors late at night. We could hear a man talking very loudly outside the bedroom, even screaming and crying at times. Thankfully my daughter was fast asleep and isn't sensitive to noises. So if you're sensitive to noises or a light sleeper, you might want to consider that. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and thought that it was a very good value. Thank you!

Excellent VRBO location and accommodations
This was a pleasure trip for Spring Break. I just needed to get away and relax. This VRBO is an excellent choice for that. Very well stocked and clean. The location is convenient to many tourist destinations and the onsite parking is a huge plus when so many chain hotels charge a fee to park. I will definitely use this VRBO again and will highly recommend it to others I know looking to vacation in the LA area.

We'll Be Back!
We were in town for a quick business meeting, so our stay was short. I'd like to go back again and take time to explore the area. We really appreciated this apartment along with Ray and Sandy, the hosts. Everything was very inviting and comfortable! The pool would have been great if we had time and the weather was warmer. And having a few snacks and drinks stocked when we arrived was such a nice touch! I highly recommend this place!

Perfect Spot
Ray and Sandy were great hosts. They were easy to communicate with and accommodating. The listing is exactly as indicated. The whole complex actually gave my son and I Karate Kid vibes!!!! lol! Ray and Sandy had a full working kitchen and even provide some essentials, so appreciated! I was able to make coffee each morning with milk they bought for us. My son enjoyed the pop tarts in the cabinet. The location was about 20 mins- 1/2 hour from everything we wanted to see. We were in LA for a dream trip for my son. We also had our own covered parking spot. They also provided fully furnished and VERY comfortable bed, towels (with extras) in the cabinets, and toiletries in the bathroom. There was really nothing more they could’ve provided. Staying here was so much better than a hotel!!! My only unexpected thing was the thinness of the windows. Our first tonight had some people outside the master bedroom window talking at 2 am, it woke me up and I was able to hear their whole conversation. You also heard the road noise, not that it was loud, but you could hear it as everything else was quiet. This wouldn’t deter us from staying again though, just something I wasn’t expecting. Thanks for a great place to stay while we exploring LA, it truly added to our wonderful trip!

Stayed 4 nights. VERY QUIET apartments!!! We stayed in #8 and it was wonderful that coffee is provided and a great selection too. Water is provided which was super and so thoughtful!!!! There are other things provided that we didn't use...there is jelly, coffee creamer, cereal, spaghetti noodles, butter, milk, eggs, pancake mix, and toiletries like extra shampoo, shaving cream, toothpaste, and much more...There may be people who will use those things...and I might have, in an emergency...however, I am a bit of a "germ nerd" and have issue using already opened things, unless opened by me or my family. It was a very nice place to stay...and will.be back if our travels bring us back to the area. Thank you for your lovely place and stellar "customer care"!!!!

We had the best time staying at this property. Ray and Sandy were amazing hosts, very communicative and generous with the stocked pantry and fridge. Wonderful VRBO stay
Well-kept and updated apartment in Glendale. Comfortable king bed and easy check-in. Two positives really stand out: the responsiveness and flexibility of the hosts, and the food items stocked for us in the kitchen (eggs, milk, cheese, butter, pancake mix, popcorn, etc). It was so helpful now to have to make a trip to the grocery store right away. 😀 Great place to stay!

Location, Location, Location
Ray & Sandy's property was perfect for our holiday, the location was a great hub to explore California and the parking spot was used it was a bit tight for our Nissan Rogue hire car, but simple solution was my family jumped out while i parked. We used the pool at the propery a few times, was always clean and additional pool towels came in handy. We didn't have much interaction with the owners when at the property but was great to know they lived on site so if we needed support they wetr there, was very nice coming into very well stocked fridge and pantry. Really can't speak highly enough of the property, the pictures don't actually do it justice. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we're absolutely staying here again.

The best way to finish our honeymoon road trip!!!
This is THE place if you’re planning on staying on LA. Hosts were super attentive, accommodating and communicative. Driving to universal was a breeze! Property was super clean, bed was comfy…. Everything about this stay was PERFECT!!! We wanted to swim a little bit but the weather wasn’t that good… but the pool looked good too!! Perfect stay!
We arrived later than expected driving in from AZ. The apartment is absolutely adorable clean and cozy. It was great to immediately get a good nights sleep after a long day of travel. The hosts were extremely receptive and helpful and accessible. The property is quiet, which we loved. The apartment is so clean and having some breakfast food and water, helped the kids and I get out easily in the AM. The apartment was extremely conveniently located near Universal. We slept well. Beds were comfortable and the AC units kept the temperature perfect. The location felt very safe and secure. I would love to return!

This condo was perfect for a family of 4, for visiting sights around LA (zoo, universal, walk of fame, Beverly Hills, etc). The best part was that it was fully stocked with everything you need, even some basic food items. We would stay again if we are in LA!

Lucky to find this place !
I truly feel lucky to have found this quaint little place to stay. For the value, it was spot-on. The location was perfect for our trip to Universal (Super Nintendo World!) and the property managers are easy to access and helpful. It’s worth knowing this is an older building and not a luxury stay at the Hilton. But free parking and provided breakfast is a rare find and we are so thankful.

Sandy and Ray were great hosts, their place felt like home and the entire aesthetic was beautiful. The location is also convenient (highway isnt far) and easy parking. I also loved their hospitality; they had food/snacks already available, so not much grocery shopping was needed on our end. I will definitely book with them again!

I really wanted to like this property as owners seemed like pretty nice people and were very quick at responding to our inquiries prior to our visit. Unfortunately though, we had less than pleasant experience with our stay. We had issues getting inside. We arrived at the properly after 9 pm and it seems like the code that was given to us wasn’t working and we had to buzz in for someone to let us in. It was challenging as we had two sleeping little ones and luggage on our hands. When we walked in, we were greeted with a smell of old smoke in our house. However the worst part was when we woke up in the morning and ants were crawling in the bathroom all over the sink where our toiletries were, all over our tooth brushes. We raised the concern with owners who promptly came inside the property to take a look and tried eliminating the issue however when we came back to the property fewer ants were still present in the bathroom. We had to completely remove all of our belongings from the bathroom in order to avoid ants crawling all over them. Sadly this is not where our experience has ended. Parking space allotted to this property is extremely small, so if you have a larger SUV vehicle you will have a hard time getting out of your car. We were coming back later in the evening from universal studios and I made a mistake of backing up into a parking stall where there was a pipe sticking out from the ceiling that I did not notice which ended up scratching the top roof of our vehicle.

Clean, quiet, great location. Just fyi, only AC in living room, not in bedroom. There is a fan, however. The blinds in bedroom don't block out enough light, so just keep that in mind if you need complete darkness for sleep. Other than that, great stay overall. Would recommend and would stay again.

Incredible Hosts and great location
Ray and Sandy are incredible hosts… if I could give them more than a 5 start I would! I’ve stayed at several rentals across North America and Europe and this was the property that had the best host. They equipped the kitchen with much more than you expect (food, condiments, dishes etc.). The location is also great, secure and close proximity to universal and highway which makes it easy to get around. A car is a must but parking is included! Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

Great rental!
Ray and Sandy were amazing hosts! We really appreciated the snacks, and having coffee creamer, milk, and eggs already stocked in the fridge was just what I needed that first morning! Both were also quick to respond when we had questions. We enjoyed chatting with them when our paths would cross. The rental had everything we needed. The king bed was very comfortable. Ray and Sandy warned us the pool may be a little chilly, but the kids didn’t care! The kids asked us every day on our various adventures when we were “going back to the hotel to swim.” Big hit! It was a perfect location for going to Universal Studios, Griffith Park and Hollywood Blvd. It felt safe and secure. The covered parking spot was also nice. Thanks again for helping us make this a memorable vacation, Ray and Sandy!

Perfect small, safe and comfy stay!
This little apartment was clean and cozy, well appointed and had a comfortable bed. It’s not a luxury rental but it was well kept and clean. It was in a quiet neighborhood with walkable food options and quiet at night. We felt safe and slept well. The neighbors were also very quiet with maybe a couple door bangs here and there. It is so close to tourist spots and no more than 45 min in downtown traffic to downtown. Hosts were informative and nonintrusive. They also had plenty of extras on hand like pantry essentials, coffee, milk and eggs. Amazing stay!! Would absolutely stay here again.

Good value and location
The apartment was very secure and we felt safe. It’s a good location for a short drive to the Hollywood area. It was clean and thoughtfully stocked w/ necessities. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of blankets and extra pillows. The couch was uncomfortable to sit on but okay when pulled out for sleeping. Overall, would stay again and recommend.

Festival Stay
Our stay was perfect in every sense. We were here for the Cruel World Festival at the Rose Bowl. This apartment was centrally located to all of the places we visited. It was very clean, comfortable, stocked with basic provisions, and was our perfect home for the short time we were here. We would highly recommend staying here, and would definitely come back again.

Stayed with a friend for a convention in LA. Close enough to things without being in a crazy neighborhood. The unit was cute, cozy, and nicely updated. Bed was comfy and there were plenty of pillows. The property managers were very nice and they keep snacks stocked in the fridge and cupboards. Overall would stay here again. Only weird thing was the shower temp fluctuated a lot, but that's common with older buildings and wasn't a big deal. Five stars.

Awesome stay in Glendale!!!
First off, the Ca. King? size bed was the best bed ever in a rental. Plenty of extra pillows, too. Everything seemed thought of..magnifying mirror for putting makeup on! Plenty of waters and all kinds of stocked basics, eggs, milk, coffee pods, cereal everything you could possibly need was thought of. Great little cafe across the street, The Boulevard Cafe was convenient and delicious. They had all kinds of milks for coffee and good service.

We had a great time
We stayed in this apartment for six nights during the spring break. Location worked pretty well for us, and we covered Hollywood Blvd, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers tour, and Getty Center in five days. Property had everything we might need and pantry/fridge were stocked! It was a huge help when we realized that we forgot to get 2-3 items at the grocery store. Communication with Ray was very efficient and checkout process was super simple.

Home away from home!
This place was absolutely wonderful! Great location, clean, well decorated, and well stocked with a variety of essentials. We didn’t have to worry about breakfast for our entire trip because of the things the owners had stocked- cereal, milk, pancake mix, eggs, etc. They even had things like sunscreen and extra toothbrushes on hand! They really thought about everything in terms of making this place feel like home. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area!

Great Place to Stay
We loved staying in this older apartment complex. It was really quiet, great location for easy access to two major freeways. It's 15 minutes from the LA Zoo, and 20 minutes from Universal Studies, as well as 10 minutes from downtown Glendale which is where I had my business conference. My husband and kids enjoyed the stay while I worked. All the appliances as well as vacuum and broom where in the unit. I have kids so I have to clean up there crumb trail. lol. The manager lives on site and we honestly never saw really anyone. You do have to remember when you stay you have 2 ways up to your room and both require 1 flight of stairs and a little tiny bit of a walk to your car. We used the cot as well as the fold down couch for our 2 kids. If you have a toddler you will just need to move the glass décor and then you will be fine. They had wood kitchen and living room floors and carpet in the bedroom. The bed was sssoooooo comfy. We will definitely be back if I have another work function in the area. Thank you also for your hospitality and amazing communication before and throughout our stay when we needed to communicate.

My first time in LA was fantastic because of Ray and this place! It was a good area, very clean, and fully stocked with everything I needed. Ray was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here!
