Clean, recently upgraded, convenient. The bathroom was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the furnishings were adequate with no visible damage, loved the new plantation shutters, large screen tv on the wall (never used). They should upgrade to a keycard system. Grounds were pleasant with foliage around the sparkling pool. Parking was tight. Gated at night for security. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would stay again.
There was no coffee, there was no microwave and the beds were really hard. I wouldn’t suggest anybody staying there if they want to get a good nights sleep. Very noisy with the construction plus the walls were very thin and only one lock on the door!
Good location, good parking. Receptionist was totally disinterested. No coffee or other drinks in the morning - and no facilities in the room. Only place we were charged for a drink.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Pros: Seemingly safe neighborhood, gated parking, security guard on staff, pool (but cold).
Negs: Hard uncomfortable bed, no microwave or coffee pot, loud traffic, limited bedding, no breakfast included.
Unique: during stay, looked like there was repairs going on. A garage sprinkler was pouring water.
Get what you pay for.
Nicely surprised about the bathroom toiletries, plants nicely kept in hallways, nice looking pool (although not sure if it was heated. I did not have a chance to try it due to work trip). The location was perfect for my specific needs.
It was clean and organized. Just need to renew the interior and get modern equipmetn like AC units, tv, fridge and add a coffee pot and microwave inside the room.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Something bit me when I got to the room. The room wasn't as clean as it could have been. Greasy hand print on the wall and dresser. The door appears to need weather stripping top and side. The noise from the adjoining and the street were loud. Only staying one night and I was charged. Why to much. The add for the room stated it was 1.17 miles from the place I needed to do my next day business and that was totally inaccurate. So my stay isn't and wasn't pleasant. To top that, the television buffering was just sad 😢
Sorry to hear about your deposit. We do release the deposits the morning after checkout. However, only your credit card company can make the funds available on your account.
Clean!. Only thing that bothered me was the traffic noise from the Wilshire Blvd. If possible and if anyone is sensitive to noises, avoid rooms that are adjacent to Wilshire Blvd. Otherwise. everything was good.
Nice little motel that was reasonably priced and not too far a drive for events in Downtown LA & Hollywood. Very clean. Had a fridge in the room. Would have been nice to have an in room safe. Pool looked nice, but weather didn't cooperate. Parking lot is very tight. But in a good neighborhood that seemed safe without many homeless. Not really any restaurants within walking distance, but good places a short drive away. I would stay here again.
This is a great budget hotel. It's in a very safe neighborhood. The building is very cute from the outside if you're looking for a little mid century LA retro. Ample parking in their lot. Good customer service. A very cute pool (open only in season) and rooms all off the main courtyard/pool with nice planting around it. Very quiet hotel when we were there (on a Tuesday night). A little road noise (but we were on the road side). The room was a little dated (older furniture and carpet - but absolutely fine for the night. Linens were all very clean - as was the room. You have to drive to food/coffee but we knew that and headed out to Koreatown for dinner - loads of great options very close by. We would recommend and would return. Thanks

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
This is an older property in a nice area and in pretty decent shape. It looks like it was recently painted. Noise and construction signs were up, but we were not subjected to any related noise, probably because it was the weekend.
The room was decent and clean, but the ceiling/walls are paper thin. Lighting was bothersome since you had two options for light. One in the entry or the entire room on blast. We were on the 2nd floor and should have been on the 3rd because the people in the room above us were just plain noisy. I can't decide if they were deliberately noisy or the ceiling/floor was that thin. I suspect a little of both. I know this is not the fault of the hotel, but being an older hotel, this is what you can expect. As well, try to get a room away from Wilshire Blvd since you could hear the traffic.
I will say that the TV setup is lacking. Best I could figure out, you can only watch stations thru streaming and the internet was abysmal since it was constantly buffering or going out. Had to turn off the TV at one point since the internet never came back.
A great location for our family visiting in nearby neighborhoods! Everything worked well and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the mini-refrigerator. The room needs lamps and hanging hooks. Parking easy. Helpful housekeeping.
Rooms very neat and clean, enjoyed that rooms faced pool area which was very nicely maintained.
Disappointed that there was no Jacuzzi/Hot tub.
Would have liked microwave in room instead of common area. Overall plan to stay again.
It’s a quality hotel for the budget conscious. The room had plenty of space and was clean. The bathroom was reasonably maintained and the amenities were stocked well. The only downside of sorts was that there aren’t much facilities around the area. The vending machines on the lobby did come in handy, though. I’d probably stay here again the next time I visit the city.
The walls might as well be curtains that’s how thin they are… my boyfriend and I had to hear 2 guys and a prostitute all night blasting music and talking so loud in the room right below us but the guy at the front desk helped and eventually they shut up. I was really sad the pool was freezing cold that’s part of why i even booked this place. All restaurants and food places are at least a 15-20 minute walk which sucked.
