My friend and I first time in Los Angeles. We found the hotel through Expedia. I’m so glad to choose this place. Michael so friendly and helpful. Housekeeping also nice when I asked for water and toilet paper. They have cafe at the corner and really convenient. We have been using an Uber, Lyft to go around town, a bit pricey but if you like the locals buses you could save money for other things. Overall Hollywood Historic Hotel has been a great place for us.

The staff , especially Michael are friendly , informative and welcoming . The Edmond is a great place to enjoy a meal and a drink . The corner bakery has delicious baked goods , the staff is friendly and the coffee , delicious .

Such a great hotel for the price. Staff were amazing. When you go, talk to Michael he was so helpful with all the tips and tricks and made a priority to remember our name and greeted us everytime. It’s a little far from any landmarks but a quick Uber ride will get you anywhere you need to go. It’s an older hotel so the history is pretty cool. I would stay here again.

The room is small and basic it’s basically a spot to sleep. Don’t let that fool you it’s also clean easy access and the place had a fun bar and good menu I would recommend the place.

The property is beautiful and clean. The check in was on time. The service great. No breakfast at the property. The only inconvenience I found was the limited places to eat around the property. Also to go to the attractions like Walk of Fame and Griffith Observatory you need a car, no walking distance.

Good experience overall. the hotel staff provided excellent room service (every day free water, clean towels) ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The rooms were spacious with ample windows offering views of iconic Hollywood sign. However, it was a bit disappointing to find no coffee or tea-making facilities in the room, coz it's right by the roadside, the incessant noise from traffic sometimes made it difficult to relax in the room. Additionally, it can be very dusty in the room. The hotel also charges parking fee 18$ per night.

The hotel was within walking distance of most of the Hollywood attractions. Very quiet. My room was located over a bar and restaurant but I never heard any noise in the room. Comfortable room and all the staff were friendly. Thank you

We liked that the building was built 100 years ago and is still in good shape. Though the elevator and bathroom are small, the beds are VERY comfortable, and the front desk clerks are very helpful and accommodating. We were there for appointments at Cedars-Sinai Hospital and it's a very easy commute to the hospital from the hotel. It's also nice having a good restaurant attached to the building.

It was fun staying here but the our bathroom was old and shabby. It didn't have a proper shower! Just a shower head over the old bath with a flimsy 1970s look curtain. Needs a revamp
