I really liked this hotel it was cute and aesthetic. Only con was the spider in the hairdryer bag but it wasn’t a big deal. The staff was very friendly. I wish they had regular parking but they only had valet.

I have to say this hotel exceeded my expectations, besides the "thrift store" smell. The room I rented was cute and a good size for a perfect getaway for 2. I rented this hotel because my daughter had an event going on in the area. We originally rented for 2 nights, but my daughter's team had to leave early, so I asked to cancel the last night. I was told that they can not cancel, but I can check out early with out a refund. A few hours later, I received a call letting me know that the manager will accommodate and cancel 1 night with refund as long as we leave within 20 minutes. I quickly jumped on it. I am very pleased with the service of the hotel and will definitely book here again.

I booked this hotel based on it's star rating, boy was I wrong. The parking lot is small and requires valet only. The noise from the hallway and rooms above made for a not pleasant night of sleep. My shower was small I am 5'7 and was taller than the shower head. Skip if you are looking for a restful night sleep.

Convenience Meets Disappointment
My stay at the hotel left much to be desired. Despite its affiliation with Hilton Tapestry, the experience didn't meet expectations. Southern California's winter brought an unexpected chill to my room, exacerbated by the air conditioner arrival temperature being set at a brisk 62 degrees. The heating system proved problematic, with maintenance offering a brief solution that unfortunately didn't last. Resulting in them bribing me a space heater on the Eve of day two. The thin walls exposed me to the hustle and bustle of the hallway and loud stomping and laughter sounds from both above and next door. While the valet staff was notably polite, the front desk encounter was marked by the mid-Day gentleman’s sarcasm and rudeness, overshadowing the positive aspects. In addition, the hotel's dated ambiance persisted despite attempts with modern furniture noticeable wear and tear on the bathroom diminished its intended effect. In the future, I'm inclined to explore the offerings of a newer property from their competitor around the corner, hoping for a more comfortable and accommodating stay.

The outdoor pool area could use some tropical type plants/ updating. Nice jacuzzi & firepits but not clear how to use the firepits. Those simple changes could lead to greater feel/ ambiance

The gentleman that checked me in was extremely Rude and obviously couldn’t care less in being Hospitable let alone polite. He checked me into a room that was sub-pare (bath tub had a large hole, counter was obviously repaired….poorly, etc.), gave no instructions on how the TV worked or WiFi login. I was tired so I didn’t say anything. The next day I spoke with the person at the front desk about my check in experience and was quickly moved to a better/cleaner room. The woman was very accommodating and polite, but I continued to see the gentleman that checked me in and my experience was tainted. I don’t know if he’s the son of the owner and that’s why he works there, but he shouldn’t be in the hospitality business as it reflects poorly on your property, especially at the price point that I paid per night ($250)!

When I arrived and noticed that there would be some construction outside my room’s window during my stay I was pleasantly shown several other rooms in order for me to be satisfied. While the place appeared clean, my room had a musty odor that never went away. The facility seemed old and somewhat outdated. I will say the location in Manhattan Beach was excellent, and easy to get to and from the airport (LAX). Aside from the odor, not a bad place to stay.

Very friendly staff and updated rooms. Our “garden view” room looked onto a wall four feet away and some off season furniture storage. At check in we were told we did not “get anything” because we made our reservation through a third party. I guess that’s why we got the worst room in the hotel.

Home away from home
Stayed here 2 nights on our LA trip! The overall setup for the hotel is amazing...from friendly and knowledgeable front desk and in house restaurant to the pool and hotub. Within walking distance to the beach! There is a 24/7 convenience store out back and the rooms come w newer TVS and a Record Player!! Will always spend a night here when in Cali so thanks again for another great stay

I specifically emailed the hotel about an allergy to down. I asked them to remove all down pillows and comforters. They didnt. I was suffering from allergies the entire stay.
