Cozy Getaway in the Woods
Cabin was perfect for our family during the stay. Ample privacy from the neighbors, quietly nestled up in the hills/mountain. Well maintained, clean and comfortable. Couldn't recommend enough for a couple day stay away from home!

Enjoyed our stay!
Despite the rainy weather, we enjoyed our two night stay at the rustic chalet with our two pups! Kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary utensils to cook up meals during our stay. Plenty of towels & linens to support our visit. Would definitely love to return and enjoy the hot tub & fire pit next trip!

This cabin is clean, well maintained, and in a lovely area. The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy your meals. The outside is private which makes you feel comfortable in the hottub and fire pit area. We will be back again.

RUSTIC CHALET was an awesome retreat for us! We enjoyed playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub, playing our board games at the table and loving the view out the A-frame windows! Just as listed -perfect for 6 adult family members. Cozy, clean and well equipped. Really enjoyed our family time and hiking in the park. We were a little late for enjoying fall foliage but enjoyed the campfire! Didn’t use the hot tub but looked clean. Would stay again.

Cozy Cabin
We had a great stay at the Rustic Chalet. The cabin has plenty of room but also feels nice and cozy. The cabin and grounds were very clean and had everything needed for relaxing and for cooking. The woods and view from the deck were beautiful. The location was perfect to enjoy everything Mohican has to offer. It is easy to get to but is also very secluded. We had a great fall family getaway!

Great country getaway
The views from inside and out were breathtaking. The chalet was so cozy and welcoming. We loved knowing we were tucked away in the woods, but not far from near by towns for a quick restaurant or sightseeing.

This is an adorable cabin in the woods. Morning coffee on the deck with nature was a awesome way to start my day. The weather wasn't cooperative, but we played pool and cards (luckily supplied by host). I always enjoy a spot where my dogs are welcome and they had fun scoping out the property as well.

Perfect spot!
This property is the perfect spot to stay at Mohican. We enjoyed spending our day hiking, canoeing and then being able to come back and relax by the fire and in the hot tub. It’s super close to everything. I would definitely stay here again!

Hidden gem
We felt secluded but close enough to town and Mohican State Park. Cabin exceeded our expectations, we played pool, went in the hot tub and made a fire in the fire pit. Since there were 3 levels privacy was not an issue unless you slept in the loft. There were 5 of us so this was perfect. The view from the loft was great! If you have a problem going up and down stairs this might not be the place for you. The kitchen was remodeled and super cute. There were plenty of kitchen gadgets and pots and pans. There was no corkscrew so if you are a wine drinker make sure to bring one or have a screw top. Plenty of seating at the table for eating and games. There is also plenty of seating around the fire pit. The deck had 2 benches that sat 4 total. The deck overlooked the trees, you could see the hills in the distance. My only complaint would be that the address is not well marked. We drove past it twice trying to figure out if we had the right place. When you pull in the driveway you won't see the cabin. You will go up a hill. There is a fork in the road, take the one that goes straight and to the right. This seems wrong but it is a loop that goes right to the cabin. If you go to the left you will have to back up since this is a very tight turn. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anybody.

Great spot!
If you're staying in Mohican and want something a little nicer and more private, this is a great spot. You can't see any neighboring cabins from the property and you're close enough to town and the canoe liveries to still be a convenient location. Make sure you have AWD because the driveway is steep and not paved. It may be difficult to get up there with a sedan in rain or snow. We did fine in a Subaru Outback.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry your stay wasn't up to your expectations. Our hot tubs are serviced between every stay and this one was working properly prior to and when checked after your stay it was clean and also working properly. We always encourage our guests to reach out immediately if anything is not as expected so we can remedy issues asap. I have reached out to my cleaners to ensure they are unloading the dishwasher and I will have the well pump checked out by a professional immediately.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this chalet in the woods. The chalet was perfect for our get away along with our chihuahua.We got to see a heard of deer by the cabin , we enjoyed the hot tub but our favorite was just the peacefulness. We’ve already recommended this cabin to our family and friends.

Great little place
The serene tranquility and quiet at this cabin was rejuvenating. The road can be a bit noisy during the day but at night time it quiets down. The host was available if needed but he left us alone to enjoy our stay (which is something everyone worries about a little when renting). Everything was clean and comfortable. There was a camp site/park nearby with trails and a little park. Everyone was very friendly and it wasn’t very far from civilization so if we needed to run to a store we needed to while still keeping the isolated bliss. Get your firewood early or ahead of time! They sell out quick in those parts!

We loved our weekend getaway at this cabin. The property was clean, fully stocked with towels, dishes, etc. It was quiet and truly secluded. The hot tub was an awesome touch and we enjoyed relaxing in it. The only recommendations I have are a mini fridge on the first floor and hooks on the deck for towels for the hot tub. Both of those would have been appreciated during our stay. Otherwise, it was a perfect place for our weekend getaway.
