Problems fixed

Posted Jun 29, 2015
We were put in a former smoking room the first night. It was not good but they said they were full. Very smoky room with furniture missing. (That's why I would not recommend it along with the buffet.) BUT I asked the next day if we could be moved and we were! Much better and for the rate we were very happy about the room. The breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about but for the rate it was okay.

Dated but modernized.

Posted Jun 9, 2015
The hotel was nice enough to stay in for an overnight road trip with friendly staff. The price was good and the rooms sufficient. Not the nicest place a little older but some modern added TV and other upgrades were done. Over all for a night it's great for a week I don't know.

Disappointing

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Easy access from I-65.
Cons: More assistance and immediate attention to travelers' needs including stocking rooms and breakfast area, better cleanliness, addressing noise.
Receptionist didn't give instructions on how to get to 2nd floor since no elevator. White liquid stains on side of couch. No plastic bag for dirty laundry. No extra blanket in room. Front desk response to noise in nearby room through 4:00 AM was that they would be watching the halls on camera, but that does not help when the noise is coming from inside the room. Breakfast was depleted by 8:30 AM Saturday morning and not replenished.

acceptable

Overall, it was a fine experience. Hotel was clean and cheap. However, while we were there, none of the room key cards were working for any of the guests so that was pretty inconvenient as we needed staff to let us into our rooms. Breakfast was suuuuuper crowded and little food left. It seemed like they needed more staff on to restock breakfast and handle check-outs.

The hotel was in the process of renovation

Very dirty hotel and reeked of smoke. Asked for a non smoking room but it smelled like smokers were there before us.

Average hotel near Louisville.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
This hotel is average and that's about it. The price was fair but I expected to get what I paid for. Had to switch rooms when we first got there because the toilet wasn't clean and there was hair all over the bed sheets when I removed the comforter. The hotel staff was very friendly though letting us change rooms at no charge. The second room was much cleaner and found the the size of the room to be good for myself and my girlfriend. All the appliances worked well, but the furniture in both rooms (couch and chairs) were in bad shape with stains. So like I said before, you get what you paid for. The hotel is average and has some bright spots, but nothing will blow you away. The one thing I would change is the breakfast. I understand its continental but the biscuits and gravy were served in a crockpot. You would think they would turn the crockpot on but it wasn't and therefore the gravy was ice cold. Theres a McDonald's and a Krispie Kreme donuts about 3 minutes away and found that more appealing than the breakfast.
