"Il BoMa is perfectly located half-way down the hill from the entrance to the Riomaggiore pedestrian district and the marina. Our hostess gave us all the information we needed to make our stay lovely, from things to do to places to eat. Her recommendations were spot on! The room was very clean and big enough for two, though not spacious; bathroom was the best we’ve had in Italy, with space and a great shower. "Wonderful place to stay, fantastic location overlooking the sea. Paulo reserved a parking space for us and met us at the top of town to show us down to the property. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities including free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee and biscuits."

"The place was great, clean, spacious, and everything worked. The location was close to an exit so it didnt require you to take too many stairs and the exit lead you to the train. Yes you can hear the train and the view was of the wall but honestly not bad at all since didnt soend much time there anyways "

"We had issues contacting someone to get checked in but once we were in, the room was clean with the promised amenities. I will say the cups they provide for the tea disintegrate before you can finish your hot beverage so they might want to get some different cups or bring your own. The beds were ok in terms of comfort. "

"We arrived after check-in time late night but they were able to quickly let us self check in the room after a very long day. We were able to get some rest. Don't make the same mistake and read descriptions carefully. Im so happy they were able to accommodate us even that late at night. It's also close to many shops and restaurants. "

"DONT BOOK, this place is NOT a hotel nor a bed and breakfast. Not even the taxi driver knew of it existence. No front desk no one to greet you. This is basically an apartment on a regular building and what they did they divided the rooms inside into “private rooms”y mother is handicap and I specially asked about an elevator and they said yes there’s one, what they did not disclosed was that the elevator does NOT stop on their floor and there’s two set of stairs to go up each of 15-20 steps. ...

"As all the other reviews have mentioned, the property is located on a hillside with spectacular views. Our room was for 3 people and the only view from the room was through the wooden blinds over a window. "

"This is a remote place to stay, small, quiet, old and charming. It’s really only suitable for a couple maybe with children. The owner was there to meet us. He was thorough in acquainting us with the place and its amenities. We loved it. A real step back in time. "
