Prices do not match the facilities provided in the room. Nice view but limited facilities such as no lighting, for a room with 4 people not enough water, towels. Not 5 star. Quiet in the day but noisy party at night.

I have been in Ecuador for a month, and this hotel has been my least favorite. The staff does not seem to communicate well and is inconsistent in applying policies. The views are great, and the pool is nice, but the staff needs training and simplified processes. The rooms are also very sparse. I was surprised by the rating of this hotel on Expedia. I checked out as soon as I could, and I am glad I was only there for one night.

This wasn’t first time staying at Mantahost. The place is well kept though a bit dated. It feels more like a budget hotel than a high-end hotel. I think that fresh flowers in the lobby instead of plastic ones could go a long way. My score is due to the fact that I was very comfortable, the noise was very low or nonexistent, the food was good and the service exceptional. I’d definitely return.

Excellent staff service. Everyone was just amazing, room service, butler, reception, waiters and others. Thank you. Food is great but the hotel is kind of old. Beach at this time of year was not possible to use and lots of debris. Great view of the ocean.

El hotel esta descuidado, viejo, el área de la piscina es un peligro, en dos días ví a 4 perosnas resbalarse. tuvieorn dos eventos en la misma áerea, generando bulla y desorden. Deberían avisar a los huéspedes de estos eventos. Una pena, el hotel era mejor!

When we originally checked in they had no rooms with balconies. Our second night the were able to move us..they handled it all while we were on a tour. Miss ecuador pagent contestants were on premise. Excellent Breakbast buffet..Chocolate cruissants to die for.

It’s a great place to stay, I loved it that was in front of the beach and the price is not bad at all. The only thing I didn’t like was that the breakfast buffet closed too early.

The hotel was clean, breakfast very good. Service was excellent. View from balcony was wonderful. Pool and sitting area was wonderful!! Felt safe parking in gated/guarded lot.
The only complaint would be there were parties til very late/early morning both nights we were there and that is fine, but guests should be told at booking and offered a discount price or different room or given a choice to book elsewhere as we didn't sleep well-very loud music til 2-3am directly off our balcony room.

Service was great from the moment I was picked up from the airport til the moment I was dropped off. Has cool amenities like infinity pool, pool tables ping pong tables. Breakfast was great and turns in to an affordable fine dining experience for dinner. Location was super convenient it’s super close to a couple of plazas with dining options and activities. And its close to the ocean too, the only downside is that you can’t go into the water but listening to the sound of the waves at all times was enough for me. Highly recommend!
