Very pricey for small room. Hotel smells like cigarette smoke. Restaurants closed by 10. Not good if you check in at 9. The bed was pretty comfortable. Small half the regular size pillows.

room was NOT CLEAN - toilet seat had residue and was sticky (gross) the lighted make up mirror had disgusting splatters ALL OVER IT. I also paid for a luxury upgrade room and received a run of the mill room. the room over all was a big let down. not clean or nearly nice as what I paid for it.

Front desk woke us up at 1:30 am calling multiple times to see who was in room and power went out like 6:00 am no ac we left

Power went out. Was nice kept casino floor powered. But had to carry bags down 4 flights of stairs. Had security guard ask if i could get bags down stairs. Do i have a choice? He said nope and walked on. Room got hot quick. I know power not thier fault. But nothing close , limitited food available, but kept the slots on!

We used to really enjoy coming here, but this time we found it to be different in negative ways. They charged $38 for early check in. Food was very over priced and not good. The power went out at 7AM and everyone had to exit down the stairwells while they kept the generator on for the slot machines. Unacceptable!

We liked that it was by itself where you can see mountains around u vs more building. Room was amazing. King size bed was super comfortable. Very quiet. Even with casino it didnt feel smokey inside which was fantastic for us. Will definitely stay here again.

Be aware, the spa is only open on weekends. The dining options are mediocre but regardless, fill up quickly. On a Sunday night, we were turned away at 7:00 pm for a restaurant that closed at 9:00 telling us they were too busy. The other restaurant was also too busy and we ended up with carry out food. The pool was ok but the "patrolling" of the pool was ridiculous. We lost our wristbands and instead of being offered new ones we were told to go find them. Others in the pool area were openly talking about similiar situations and treatment. Guests being treated like teenagers needing parenting. Most guests were middle aged. Also wasn't told we'd have to ask for our room to be cleaned and it would only be offered once during our stay. Obviously, this venue is not looking for repeat customers

Please contact me regarding our stay. We were treated like crap, the hotel said we should not have booked through expedia several times. We did not get the room we paid for and they could have cared less. I'm very disappointed with the staff at Ak Chin. My next step is going to BBB to get refunded for the many things the hotel staff did wrong. We also need to be reimbursed for getting a lower grade room than what we paid for.

I loved the hotel it was comfortable and clean. Very peaceful and I was very wel rested in the comfortable beds. The pool area is so beautiful the staff was very helpful and informative. The only thing I see that they don’t have is microwaves so just a heads up . The bowling alley and activity center was awesome .

The casino did not have my Caveman Keno game so I went to other locales. I like the large jackpot ($215 or 230) with x10 egg bonus machines. The pool opens at 7:00am but there were no towels available. I had to walk through the casino to get a towel from the front desk. No USB pull-in to charge my phone.

I wanted to book my room for two nights but hit the book button by mistake. When I arrived I mentioned to the receptionist what I did and she said it wouldn’t be a issue I thought I would have to change rooms the next day sbd she assured me that I would be staying in the sand room .
