Great location for us away from home
We really enjoy staying here over a hotel simply because it makes us feel at home. They have supplies everything you may need and atmosphere is great. Only thing I would make different is a firmer bed, but that is a personal preference. Overall this is 5 star accommodations that will make you feel at home. Oh, and the ping pong table is a plus to enjoy as well.

Enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed everything, very clean and modern. The outside lights came in even with the black out shades. The train wasn’t bad nor the hwy which I was nervous about. Fan in living room wouldn’t turn on but we made do. Will stay again when we come in to see family.

Beautiful space
We had a nice stay at this beautiful, new property. We had a little bit of trouble getting in through the key pad, but the owner responded pretty quickly and we we were soon in. The space is very nicely decorated and the bathroom has an enormous closet, which was a nice place to keep your bags so that the space stayed tidy. The space is near railroad tracks and, unfortunately, trains came through, whistles and horns blaring, about every two hours throughout the night. We always travel with ear plugs, fortunately, so we solved that problem. The celing fan was not working, so we ended up borrowing a fan from friends we were visiting - just a personal prefrence for us to have some air moving. The kitchen was cute and functional, but our favorite part ended up being the ping-pong table. We really enjoyed playing with our boys (there may be a ping-pong table under the tree this year!) Bring along some ear plugs and you are sure to enjoy your stay.

Adorable!!!
WOW! The Highway Hideaway is adorable - better than expected! The decor is on par with an HGTV makeover show. Very trendy. The owner has thought of everything to create a comfortable home away from home. The use of space makes this tiny apartment feel plenty roomy - and the bathroom and closet are HUGE! From the comfy bed, extra blankets, pillows, and towels to the adjustable bedside reading lights. The ping pong table was a plus! We stay in lots of VRBO's and this is one of the best we've seen.

Perfect for the 2 of us
Very clean and pleasant for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find this for our 3 night stay so close to family and friends. Highly recommend for anyone passing through or needing an extended staycation close to Springfield without being right in the middle of it. We also enjoyed the ping pong table.

Very well done!
Though this property is above a business, it is so cute. Yes, there is a train nearby but with our fan running, it didn’t bother us a bit. It was very clean, modern, and whoever designed and decorated KNOCKED it OUT! Very well done and well supplied.

Property was new, clean and had adequate accoutrements. The steep stairway and train noise were the only non-ideal characteristics. For the area, it definitely provides the best accommodations available, and we would stay there again.

Beautifully Modern apartment
This is such a nice unit! Our family stayed there for a local basketball tournament in Springfield. The owners thought of just about everything for their guests. Kitchen is fully stocked with nice items and everything you’d need. The bathroom is spacious with a large shower as well. The closet is a dream with much storage and mirror. Extra linens were provided for the sleeper sofa. We used the washer, dryer, and dishwasher daily which was an excellent help! It was clean and beautifully decorated. A few of areas if we were to be picky… A couple extra towels would have been nice. The Keurig was finicky at times. Our oldest son is a light sleeper, so the road noise and train bothered him. Overall we had a delightful experience and were grateful to stay in this unit!
