"We traveled to Michigan from out of state for a family wedding. With 9 in our group ranging in age from 2 - 80 this was a wonderful place to stay! The little ones were able to be themselves while others were able to relax. You can take a walk since it is located in the country. We were able to have extended family over for coffee and donuts and visit in the large dining area. We stayed for 4 days and it became affectionately referred to as 'Grandma's Farm'!"

"Besides the remote needing batteries in the room my children slept in and the showerhead in the basement, everything was nice. No stress.The kids were sad that they couldn’t watch tv. It would’ve been nice if we knew where the AAA batteries were so we could’ve changed it ourselves. We had plenty of space. Rules were simple. Close to Grand River. Would stay again."

"We traveled to Lansing to attend our daughter's white coat ceremony at MSU. We needed a place that would be close to the university and that could accommodate our family of adults. This checked all the boxes then some! I chose it because it provided opportunities to play and create memories with the pool table, darts, the hot tub. It was perfect. Brent was always quick to answer any questions and was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to visit Lansing."

Also there was no apron and no aluminum foil or saran wrap I’m not sure maybe we should’ve brought our own. "I was happy with my stay. The property is an old farm house that's been split into 3 different rentals, and I was in the smallest. It did not have a full kitchen, but I think that's reflected in the price. The setting is peaceful and pretty, and I saw a LOT of deer! I did reach out to the owner in advance to make sure I could bring my pet bird (we were having a new furnace installed and I didn't want her around the fumes), and she responded right away and was very friendly. "The cottage was beautiful, clean and peaceful. Our girls weekend was filled with fun and recharging. The beds were very comfortable. We had fun making pasta and painting together at the large kitchen table. Our last night we enjoyed a couple hours at the large fire pit talking and looking at the stars. Would absolutely plan another girls trip here!"

"The house was so relaxing and perfect for our family lots of space. The pontoon boat was definitely worth the money due to was able to go out on lake as much as we wanted. Neighborhood is really only 1 big block and worth walking around not sure golf cart was needed. Loved having access to the basketball hoop."

"This house has so much character and was a perfect venue for a weekend retreat. We enjoyed the individuality of each bedroom and each space. There are things to explore and look at in every nook and cranny of this place! Communicating with Evolve was a hassle, but communication with the actual host was good once we had his contact information. We thoroughly enjoyed the back porch with the view of the pond and wildlife including deer, turkeys, turtles, cranes, geese, ducks, raccoons and we could hear so many birds including peacocks. The children chairs, tables, books and toys were an appreciated touch. I would rent again given the opportunity. "

"I stayed here during a recent work trip to Lansing. What an incredible property. The view when you park is lovely. Wonderful outdoor space if you’re traveling with friends. The inside is impeccably maintained and decorated. There is a lovely walkway by the river for morning or afternoon walks. Location makes it easy to access anywhere in the Lansing area and beyond.
