Good property with nice apartments, good common facilities including a sauna. However there is a significant issue with unfriendly and unwelcoming policies which adds a lot of unnecessary inconveniences. They like any place charge by the day but will provide tiny amounts of consumables per stay. Be prepared to be nickel and dimed for silly things. The checkout is an onerous process where you are expected to clean everything including removing all linens. The biggest negative is that the listing does not mention that the washer/dryer is in a common area, there is 5CHF charge per load in cash only and you need to book a time slot at least a day or two in advance. This costed us almost one day trying to get cash and then waiting just for the washer and dryer cycles to finish. They need to realize that their customers are on vacation and are the source of resorts income. Please have a customer centric attitude.

Wonderful apartment with kitchen
We enjoyed our stay at SwissPeaks. Meiringen was a pleasant surprise as a wonderful town with beautiful waterfalls within walking distance or a short drive. The Aare Gorge was gorgeous and worth checking out. The only downside was the lack of a washing machine in the unit and the need to make a reservation, which we could not get.
