Beautiful Location
Our trip was a last minute decision and I did not want a hotel/condo. I didn’t even have a destination other than east coast! This was perfect! Not a massive amount of tourist, privacy, it was great! The owner was easy to contact and very responsive. Could not have asked for more!

Chillaxing and Relaxing Beach House
Great location and minimal people on beach. We enjoyed the bar grill that is two doors down. The cloudy weather prevented us from seeing a launch, but a great location to watch one. Overall, we really enjoyed the beach house. It is a nice no frills beach house with an awesome view. I recommend it!

Great Location, Not so Great Rental
The location could not be any better. We were right on the beach with amazing views and close to restaurants and grocery without feeling like there were too many people. This is a FOUR UNIT property, but again, we did not feel crowded. As far as the property itself, it was poorly renovated some time ago. The back deck was uneven, and the boards were coming up in places. The floors still had sand on them when we got there. The kitchen had all mix and match dishes and not really enough of anything. There was no salt, pepper, sugar, creamer. For the price I paid, I would expect the basics to be provided. The microwave was so small that I had to turn plates sideways to get them in. The oven digital reader was not working properly, so I couldn't tell the temperature I was setting the oven to. The kitchen faucet was loose and didn't go into both sections of the sink well. The bathrooms were very small and did not have any extra rolls of toilet paper. There was no soap and the shampoo and conditioner that was there were left overs from other people who stayed in the past. Again, for the price I was paying I would expect these to be provided. The place is a meant to sleep 6, but is really only comfortable for 4. The dining tables inside and outside only sit 4. The living room only sits 4. The 3rd bedroom is VERY SMALL. Only a child could sleep on the beds in there. All the mattresses were uncomfortable. Again, for the price, I expect a mattress that I would get at a 3.5 or 4 star hotel, not a 2 star. All the chairs and furniture is stuff I would expect to see at my grandmother's house - it works fine, but is very worn and out of date. We had an amazing time on the beach because we brought our own sun shade, chairs and beach toys. There were some provided, but like everything else in the house they were very worn. I would highly recommend staying in Melbourne for a beach trip, but would not recommend staying at this rental.

Anniversary Stay
This is what we exactly needed ! This was a 5 Star view and relaxation vacation. By far one of the best views we have had in any vacation. House could use some updating but it was exactly what we expected for a beach house. If you want a beach house vacation this is it. Kick off your sandals and enjoy yourself. Just 50yards from the beach it was easy to get back and forth with the family. Nearby market and restaurants were a plus. Sitting on the large porch overlooking the beach, and seeing the pelicans, and dolphins was everything we needed for our 30th year wedding anniversary. Deanna was easy to get a hold of and check in and check out couldn’t be easier. Would truly come back again ! Thanks

Fantastic location & great host
The location is amazing. The back door is literally steps from the beach and the view from the unit and long back deck is absolutely stunning. We’ve stayed in lots of beach front properties and this one has one of the best views and proximity to the beach/ocean. You can literally open your eyes from the master bed and look at at their ocean through wide glass windows that span the back of the property. The host is super responsive and provides lots of great feedback and recommendations. We didn’t want to leave.

Great beach location for relaxation
We had a great time staying at this beach front property! Beautiful sunrise views from the expansive deck and steps to gorgeous sandy beach! East walk to neighborhood restaurants and to sunset view at the pier. Lots of room within the condo for 5 of us to hang out during the thunderstorm that kept us indoors. Didn’t hear or see other tenants in downstairs or backyard units. Very quiet and could hear waves at night! Would definitely stay again!

First trip to the ocean
This property is literally on the beach and had a stunning view of the ocean. You can hear the waves as you lay in bed. Plenty of room for our family of four. We saw dolphins and whales the morning we checked out. Lots of fun restaurant options nearby (Long Doggers and Bizzarro Pizza were awesome). Check-in was exactly as described and the owners were great at communicating with us. I would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a place to stay along the ocean.

Great Stay and Day
We first stayed at this property back in April, 2021 and loved that it was secluded from all the tourist/busy stuff, but close enough where we could get to those places easily, including great restaurants. I don’t know if anything can beat waking up, making coffee while watching the waves through the wall of windows, and drinking it sitting on the beach at sunrise with almost no one in sight. The house has always been immaculate for both of our visits and Deana has been awesome to work with and very attentive/communicative about any questions related to the house. We will be visiting in the future as our own little escape someday.

Poorly maintained property
The only good thing about this property was the location. Great views and water access. Unfortunately, the house itself was dirty and poorly maintained. The furniture was subpar and looked as if it was bought from Goodwill. For this price, one would expect a four star property, but we got a dirty one star hostel.

I am sorry you did not like our home. I inspect the house before all guest arrive not sure why you rated us like this. Our home is very clean and very beautiful. Very vindictive review. I message guest when they arrive and during stay if there were any issues you should of let me know. The location was awesome and we miss this property already. This is a nice “cabin” there are two other rental properties on site but you wouldn’t know it because this property is front and center. Note to renter… clean up after yourselves!! Pots and pans we had to scrub hard to get clean. This is not the owners responsibility it’s yours!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Nice, comfortable home, with a large balcony perfect for relaxing and watching the water. Steps from the beach, and also a short walk from plenty of shops and food. Will definitely consider coming back!

From the picture and description we thought this would be worth the high rental price. What we found was so disappointing. There were only 4 wash cloths for 5 people, there weren't enough bath towels unless you wanted to wash clothes every day. I called the owner and she dropped off some towels and wash clothes The furniture in the living room was a couch and chair so we couldn't all sit and have a conversation, it was also outdated. The kitchen offered a mismatch of dishes, silverware and utensils. Under sink had a container for an ongoing leak. The place itself was in need of alot of work. Some of the electrical we wonder if it would pass fire codes. I don't know what the regulations are in Florida or if a Vrbo rental has to be inspected but I think it would be a good idea. The bathrooms are very small and outdated. The deck has places where it dips and we almost had a fall with a family member. The steps leading up to the apartment also has some places where they lay crooked. The ad said there were beach chairs and an umbrella. The chairs wouldn't adjust and were really old, the umbrella was a joke. We actually went out and bought a couple of beach chairs and a umbrella. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were so flat we also had to go buy some so we could try to sleep. In the mornings when the sun was hitting the windows it was very warm and you had to run a ceiling fan in the dining room and also a sitting room off of the main bedroom. The air conditioner ran constantly and it was still 77, it would cool off later in the day after the sun wasn't hitting the large windows. An awning or something would have been nice so you could sit on the deck. There was no relief from the sun till it moved to the side of the house. There was a "shower" to wash the sand off of your feet, only problem with that is the nozzle was so high it got everything but your feet. We were only given one key and I requested another one. I got a bag full of keys from the owner and not one of the fit any lock in the house, we had to go have a key made ourselves. I tried to keep the floors clean from sand but the broom was so dirty it made it's own mess. For the price we paid of over $450 per night this place should have been so much nicer. We thought we had a separate unit by itself but there was another one right under us. I spoke to the couple and his mother who were staying in that unit and they also were upset at the conditions in their rental.

Great house and location!
The pictures for this property don’t quite do it justice. The house does have a full kitchen, three bedrooms (one queen bed and two rooms with two twins) and two full bathrooms. It also has a few beach chairs, boogie boards, a surfboard, and a charcoal grill outside. It is right on the beach, even if it might not be clear from the pictures. The back of the house is all windows...so you can see the ocean from the master bedroom and kitchen. You can also easily walk down to the beach to enjoy the ocean. This house is in an area without a lot of tourists, noise, and nonsense, making it a perfect, quiet, relaxing weekend getaway spot. Deana was responsive in answering any questions we had about the house and providing great recommendations for restaurants.

My husband and I spent 5 nights and enjoyed being right on the beach to watch the birds, kite surfers and beautiful skies. Market, restaurants and pier in Indian River an easy walk. We had quite a lovely time.

Ideal location, in need of a update
The location and beach was beautiful. However, it was disappointing to arrive to some small problems with the home. The lights were out in one room, and the fan was also not working. A lot of the home did not seem to be set up and arranged in a functional manner. For example, one of the bathrooms had the mirror closer to the toilet instead of being above the sink. The bathrooms also had little to no complimentary shampoo and conditioner. There was hardly any laundry detergent left, and the dish soap and tabs were almost gone as well. There was also little information upon arrival about wifi and amenities and we had to contact the owner for that information and how to get into the apartment. The place just needs an update. It had a great view and location, but would been better with clean windows, some patio chairs, and a new paint job. They also asked us to sweep the floors, no dirty dishes prior to leaving, even though we paid a cleaning fee for our stay.

I am sorry you felt this about our home. Our home is very well kept and I think you might have not switched the right light switch to make lights work. We check all bulbs between guests and none were out when you left. We text the WiFi info to every guest upon arrival. As per the bathroom mirror being on the wall instead of in front of sink There is a window in front of the sink to see outside. The cleaning fee is not to be your maid while on vacation but to disinfect the house and do all linens. We give a starter set of supplies I do not leave big containers of laundry detergent so that you can do your wash. You are on your own for that. I did not give a review of your stay because we are not use to people lying about how many guest and treating our home so aweful. There was food all over the kitchen counters which I assume you intended to leave it for us to cleanup after you. You are not welcomed back!

Oceanfront Multi-family Complex with a Crowded Driveway
Oceanfront with a huge deck running the length of the home right on the ocean. The property supports two houses- both broken up into multiple apartment units. We had the top floor of our house but another family was booked below us so not a private home. There was also an adjacent multi-family building on the same property with shared common areas/beach access that was packed with renters. This is more like an apartment complex than a private home since the grounds were shared with all the other renters (other than the dedicated oceanfront deck which only we had access to). The driveway was always filled with cars so it was difficult at times to turn around and drive out. The owners were very responsive and made sure when we arrived late in the evening that the lights were on- they were very welcoming and check in to make sure we were all set. The beds were very uncomfortable so that was unfortunate for a one week stay. The surfaces were clean but if you moved any furniture or looked behind anything there was significant dirt buildup so I imagine the cleaners don’t move anything when they clean. Nice, new kitchen was good for making meals. Also, the house could use more indoor seating area/comfortable chairs. Fortunately we had nice weather the whole week but if it had rained I would not have been able to stay in this house- it just isn’t very comfortable inside despite amazing views from almost every room and a location that can’t be beat.

This property right on the beach with easy access to it. Area wasn't crowded. If you are a beach lover, I couldn't recommend a better place. Only caveat, getting out of the driveway by car is somewhat difficult due to a large volume of traffic

Very nice place to stay - beautiful view! Accommodating owners.
Perfect for Three guys on a golf vacation. Priced right! When we were done golfing, we enjoyed just sitting on the deck taking in the view. Owner was very accommodating even buying us a new toaster when one in home wasn't working. Only suggestion I'd have is to lower the hand rail height on the deck to 36" as it currently blocks your view of the ocean when sitting on the patio chairs. Interior of the home was recently re-done & very nice. Would not hesitate to reserve it again!

Dirty sheets and bare minimums for a hefty price.
Do yourself a favor and read this before you rent. This is an honest review based on exactly what we experienced. Upon arriving at the unit, which was not a stand alone beach house as portrayed, but a multi-unit building, we found the beds made but the sheets underneath were dirty and clearly unwashed. We had to strip the beds and wash the items ourselves. Disappointingly, there was no laundry detergent so we had to go to the store to buy detergent to then wash the sheets. Floors were dirty, most of the blinds were broken and the toaster didn’t work and smoked when we tried to use it. There were also no beach chairs we had to bring our own, master bed felt literally like we were sleeping on concrete and the path to the beach was very overgrown. Living room furniture was old and dirty. The house was right on the beach which was great and the view was great. It is a beach house yes, but the house seemed to give you the very bare, cheap and dirty minimum for a premium price. Overall very disappointing, not worth the money and needs to be cleaned properly for renters and families at the very least. Cleaning is a trust issue that should never be compromised. I am not the first person to see the House was very dirty. The owner did offer to bring detergent when informed of the dirty beds, however, that’s another bare minimum. The owner also offered us to stay longer on the day of checkout, however, that text came at 10:58 am when we were already packed up and in our car and had an 11am checkout time. Again, disappointing. The location and view is the only reason I didn’t give a score of 1.

I am so sorry you felt that way about our beautiful beach house. I really do feel you are not being truthful and accurate in your review. First off we list the property as a duplex and I try not to ever put other guest there at the same time. You have your own deck that is not shared. Our location is the prime location in melbourne beach and the beach views are wonderful. We have all new furniture and kitchen appliances in the house. The flooring in the home is only a month 6 months old . I believe you were given an early checkin and I offered you a late checkout early in the morning. We have professional cleaning people that come in and get the house ready. I personally as the owner unlocks the door for the guest and check to see if house is cleaned. The house was clean as for the sheets my cleaning person said they were done properly. I offered to come over and take care of for you and you said you didn't need me to. We are sorry that you were unhappy with your stay and would welcome to discuss it with you.

Location, location. Great huge deck looking right at the ocean. Walk to restaurant 2-doors down. It closed at 10, no loud music or anything to disturb your stay. Walk to great grocery store, pizza shop. If you are looking for a 5-star posh resort, it's not for you but if you want a great Beach House, it's perfect!

Amazing location and scenery. Nice house, decorated beachy. Appliances need upgrade, rusted refrigerator. Showerheads are poor. House needs proper cleaning, found used diaper under bed. Water down soap was an insult to the fee we paid. Expected alittle better. With a great cleaning and repairs, this is a good rental.

Location was great for us!
My family and I prefer to not be in the "middle of all the action" when vacationing. This place is close to all the necessary things and we had everything we needed for a great weekend. Deanna responded quickly when we couldn't find an iron (we had a wedding to attend). Not the cheapest place you can stay, but the location right on the beach and view from the deck made it worth it to us. Overall, great experience. Thank you!

Our beach house stay was great! The back of the house is facing the ocean (including the master bedroom with a wonderful view) & has a private balcony as well. It was so nice to go to sleep to & wake up to the sound of waves. It was literally 20 steps to the sand from the little side yard. We got to watch a rocket launch one night-how many people can say that?! (Check out www.spaceflightnow.com).There was plenty of room for our family of 5 with 2 full baths. It is an older unit & could have the appliances updated (the frig especially), & the tub emptied kind of slow. It had plenty of cookware & dishes to make a meal there & was convenient to a neighborhood market & even a restaurant a few yards away. There are about 3 other apartment units on the property so it is a shared property but ours was certainly privately (we had the biggest 3 bedroom/2 bath). A microwave & coffee pot was provided (bring your own filters & coffee though). Our host was able to allow us to check in a few hours early which was nice since we were driving the short distance from Orlando. There was a comfy couch & satellite tv. Just a few negatives to mention-there was a dishwasher but no detergent for it so make sure you bring some if you are going to use it. I, unfortunately, realized this after I loaded the dishwasher on the morning we were departing to leave so I had to hand wash everything (but there was Dawn there for us to use;-). The house itself could use some deep cleaning as there was quite a bit of debris & dust in the corners & on horizontal surfaces (window blinds), but I'm sure it's difficult to deep clean between each guest. All the beds were comfortable except for the master bed (at least to us) as my hubby got up the first night & slept in the recliner. There is a convenient list to go by for check out. Only drawback was that all sheets & towels had to be washed before check-out. I've usually had to start a load of towels & pull sheets off the bed at other VRBOs but to do all that laundry in an average size washer the morning of check out was a bit much. Overall, it was a great place to stay & the host was easy to communicate with as she responded quickly to my texts. We would definitely consider staying here again.
