Perfect for a romantic weekend away. We have stayed in a number of room and each one is perfect in its own way. There is no other place we would stay at when we visit the Dandenongs!

Fantastic place to stayPosted Dec 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
We arrived very late but they had left the suite ready for us and was warm and cosy. Beautifully furnished and very romantic. Set in the lovely Dandenongs in the quant village of Olinda, ideal for exploring the region. Highly recommended and worth every penny/dollar! Loved our stay here

Beautiful buildings and surroundingsPosted Apr 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
I checked in with my girlfriend just after the Easter break for a short romantic getaway and our first impressions of the room was "wow". Everything from the decor to the bed lignin exuded elegance. Despite the room being on the small side, this was easily made up for by beautiful furnishings and warm decor. The staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful and the free in room movies were also a great feature, although the TV was quite small considering the distance it was from the bed, but this was hardly a sticking point. The bathroom was again small but well furnished and marble counter-top elegant. Despite everything being beautiful I would still have to say it is slightly overpriced for what you are getting, but as you will find, this is common on Mt Dandenong. Overall I would definitely recommend The Loft in the mill to anyone and I will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful Inn for Dandenong visitPosted Oct 26, 2012
Pros: Prettiest room we have had, and we were able to walk to restaurants.
Cons: The sign was small so it was a little difficult to find the first time.
Location: Olinda is a little village in the middle of the beautiful Dandenong range. The trees, ferns and rhododendrons are awesome.
The Loft in the Mill is an attractive building in the middle of a nice little village with the nicest managers we have net in many travels. Our room was lovely and had all of the utilities we needed, plus great linens, comfortable bed, microwave, toaster, and a fridge stocked with milk, bread, butter and such. Tea, coffee and cereal was on hand, too. The receptionist and the owner were greatly helpful, telling us about local attractions, giving us discount coupons for local restaurants, finding maps, and researching local golf course possibilities. We were even helped with a hand drawn map to our next hotel.
