The national capital Washington is located 300 miles (483 kilometers) southeast of Mentor Headlands, while Cleveland lies 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the southwest.
From big-ticket tourist hotspots to secret places that are waiting just for you, Northeast Ohio is brimming with fabulous things to see and do. Approximately 14 miles (23 kilometers) away is Madison. Head here to see the Chalet Debonne Vineyards and Grand River Cellars Winery.
Geneva, is another good spot to discover. It is approximately 19 miles (31 kilometers) from Mentor Headlands and offers a diverse range of points of interest, such as Old Firehouse Winery, Virant Family Winery and Harpersfield Covered Bridge. Be sure not to return to Mentor Headlands until you've investigated Geneva's Harpersfield Vineyard, South River Vineyard and Laurello Vineyards.
This area is renowned for its traditional villages; these are often evocative portals into the region's rich history.
This region features a number of laid-back pursuits. Spend the day cycling or picnicking and leave your worries behind. The Northeast Ohio area has a number of great places to enjoy boating, so be sure you fit that into your itinerary. Swimming is another popular watersport here.
