The resort's attempt to milk its past glory is evident in its nickel-and-diming approach, charging for even basic snorkeling gear. Despite boasting about its reef, the reality falls flat. From the absence of shark heads in their signature cocktail to the dismal breakfast spread, it's clear they're prioritizing profit over quality. With a dwindling guest count, it's a glaring sign of their downward spiral. Despite friendly service staff, their refusal to accommodate guests, hiding behind rigid policies, speaks volumes. Insisting on a 3pm check-in despite low occupancy is just another indicator of their downward spiral. Don't waste your money on this disappointment.

This is a beautiful property. The beach is fantastic - if you're a snorkeler, the reef is pretty amazing! We were on a boat and went by the Palau Royal and would recommend this beach over theirs as it's on a busy marina and much smaller. The food is good, but the menu is a bit odd. It could use some adjustments. Service is overall friendly, but not consistent. Some little tweaks and this hotel could be amazing, but I would still recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful, secluded resort.

Beautiful setting, from the gardens to the beach. Good snorkeling and water sports right from their beach. I would stay here anytime. Food and service are also excellent.

5* location Stunning beach, private bay, clean and mostly calm waters 5* service Very friendly, also granted a foc late checkout until 6pm. 4* property The property is 35 years old. Not easy to keep in shape for so long but they do a good job.

This hotel was the best in Palau, the snorkelling reef in front of the hotel was fantastic. Many colourful fish and corals and very clear, clean blue water. Awesome pictures. The restaurant was very nice with good service, entertainment and food and a nice sea view at breakfast. Overall this hotel is highly recommended mainly for its protected very active beautiful reef.

The Palau Pacific Resort was a perfect stay for us. A superb location, great service, nice rooms, and a wonderful staff that was so accommodating. Don’t miss an opportunity to get a spa treatment. Pure paradise.

It is one of the Best Resorts we ever stayed! Beautiful place , beach, snorkeling, food , staffs , pool all great ! Price is on the high side , but in high season, it is not bad and worth it !!

Terribly overpriced and underwhelming. The “rules” around the breakfast buffet make it unpleasant at best. Most cereal is stale as are the crackers. Staff is unpleasant. Did not feel welcome at all. Moved to the Palau Royal Resort. A very good move. PRR was a huge improvement for the same amount.

The breakfast was exceptional really delicious and the selection was great. The room smelled like paint and I should have requested to move. But, the grounds were very beautiful and what you’d expect from a resort. The Mandara massage we received was amazing right before we left followed by the beautiful sunset! I would go back there and try the bungalow next

Beautiful resort on the beach where snorkeling with lots of parrot fish and lip stick clams. Has tennis courts and great service (pun intended). Best on the island!

My only recommendation for improvement would be to change the beds. The mattresses are old and a little too firm.

Overpriced, old and disappointing
Palau is superb, the diving is great and the people very nice. The hotel cant get any credit for this. As a hotel presented ad priced as a luxury resort, it does nonetheless create an expectation. It fails. It is old, poorly maintain, the staff is not attentive and seems very bored, and the restaurant is quite bad. There is no justification for such expensive rate even considering that rates in Palau are high.

highly don't recommend this hotel to you!!
Not recommended! My wife and I stayed four nights in PPR and the waterfront room is quite small while the price is high comparing to those in Bali or Maldives. We even couldn't find a place for our luggage although the luggage is a little big. The toilet room is even smaller than you can expect and I feel cramped in there. The staff are very friendly and the service is good. Breakfast is ordinary and the food price is acceptable. The hotel is big comparing to the others in Palau with a long beach but doing snorkeling was not a good experience -- the coral view is not worth you spending time on it. The noise isolation condition is bad -- in the very early mornings we were awaken by the noise of people walking/talking upstairs&around, which was really annoying. It seems the rooms don't have any noise isolation capability. I highly don't recommend this hotel to you!!

Die Einrichtung der Zimmer sind zu alt , es richt in den Zimmern . In den Bädern sind noch Badewannen wie vor 1980 mit Vorhängen . Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht . Personal sehr freundlich und Anlage gepflegt
