Palau Hotel & Resort Travel Guide

To begin planning a dream vacation to Palau, a Micronesian country in the Pacific Ocean, you should start by searching for special rooms at beautiful Palau hotels. Palau is comprised of hundreds of islands of various sizes, but only a handful of islands are inhabited by a majority of the country’s 21,000 residents. These populated islands of Koror, Babeldaob, Angaur, and Peleliu are the best options to consider when looking for the best prices on cheap hotel deals in Palau. When deciding which top Palau hotel deals to take advantage of, consider the underwater and land-based attractions and activities that the area is known for.

A key reason why many travelers veer off the beaten path of popular tourist areas is because of the country’s aquatic experiences and marine life. Here, you can view rare giant clams that weigh about one-quarter ton. In the saltwater seas, you can explore sunken shipwrecks, some of the tallest vertical drop cliffs in the world, and underwater caves and tunnels by snorkeling and scuba diving. You can also explore a landlocked body of water and snorkel among 20-million stingless jellyfish for an experience of a lifetime when you stay at hotels in Palau.

While you can make reservations for discount rates on Palau hotel packages to enjoy the sights below water, you also want to plan on spending some of your time exploring the sights above water. Palau has many interesting landscapes and historical attractions, and its culture and cuisine are also amazing. For example, you can find pristine beaches, friendly villages, and unspoiled rain forests in Peleliu. From Koror, one of the most populated islands, you can take a boat tour to the scenic Rock Islands, which are miniature limestone islands with a signature mushroom-like appearance. Koror also has numerous restaurants making it a great location for enjoying local cuisine. On Babeldaob, you can hike to scenic waterfalls in the middle of the rain forest and tour grand monoliths. Because Angaur is relatively unpopulated, you may find yourself relaxing alone on a scenic beach when you head to this Palau island.

When you book a reservation with a cheap Palau hotel deal, you are making plans to experience the South Pacific in true Palauan style. Whether you have the desire to enjoy tropical-style adventures, lounge on a remote beach, or perhaps a little of both, Palau is the perfect destination.

    "Loved our stay"
Stayed here for 4 days and loved our triple room. It was perfect for us - we didn't need a hotel with tons of amenities because we were out enjoying the islands during the day. It was really clean, the beds were comfy and the staff is great! We liked that it was a little off the main street. If you are looking for a resort type hotel with a pool, this is not for you. If you want a hotel to shower and sleep - this is a GREAT place; highly recommend!

"Nice hotel but needs some improvements."
I did enjoy my stay but just needs some improvements. Firstly when I arrived i was carrying 3 large luggage's and there was no one at the door to assist you. I had to climb the stairs all the way up just to find out they had a lift for luggages which i was not aware because there was no sign or anything on the door or such. Something they need to work on. Luckily the nice friendly front desk lady who came running to assist me. Only then i was informed about the lift. Room were decent. Bathroom has warm water for shower. Bathroom was nice theres a tub. Although i dont really care for such a thing especially not from a hotel. I had a little argument with an older front desk lady. I know she was just doing her job and i assured her that i had guest just eat and then they are on their way home but she kept arguing with me and telling me she was going to charge me $10 extra per person who comes up to my room. I got a room that accomodates 3 people and it even says on their site and i had 4 guests come up to have a late dinner with me and she didnt like it. She is the reason why i gave hotel staff a 4 otherwise it would have been a 5. Location is very good though because we have a store on the first floor which is part of the hotel. Theres a lot of restaurants around the area and even a bank of hawaii just right on the block. Theres so many places near by thats not too far of a walk. so overall i give it a 4.
