first night they gave us a room that had someone inside . so we basically opened their door at 1 am ish … poor guy thought we prob robbing him or something . then the property manager said oh he gave us the trouble room and code but that means he can give it to anyone and people can go to their rooms cause they have the code . people don’t know u have to click lock when u leave so most of the doors are always open . anyways they switched and we couldn’t sleep until 4 am ish cause they told us someone will come to fix the ac … no one ever came we had to go downstairs twice to talk to the guy that sells tickets in there for tours . smh anyways there’s more towels and everything u need you have to go down stairs and there is only person in the front usually and that person is usually never there cause he or she is always away trying to get peoples towels and stuff so always a big group of people just waiting …. then the tour guy ppls always ask u a million ques on how come your not getting a tour with him …. come on . anyways last day i left my gold earrings and i remember the cleaning lady that went in at 11:05 am . cause check out is 11 am on the dot . they said it’s not there … i had to text and call them many times . also if u leave anything good luck getting it back i read other reviews that they don’t ever help send stuff back or what not . also everything is thru your cell via texts they only pick up when u check in . that’s the ONLY time they pick up

Chaveli and Paco at the front desk were so nice and friendly. They went out of their way to help me print my cruise documents. We arrived early and we're able to check our luggage so we could explore South Beach. We give this place five stars and will be back for sure.

The rooms were excellent. Very clean and well-decorated. We had an enjoyable stay. However the staff could use a little work. We were never greeted or acknowledged at all.

Great stay. Close to beach and really everything else. Wonderful artisan coffee shop across the street. Definitely try Mega Pizza around the block.

The front desk was awesome the main front desk lady and guy and including the lady manager and tour guide juda I forgot the names but they are the mains who are there everyday ! I love staying and being welcomed by them they made my stay my visit excellent!!

The checking in process and getting an access code via email is the main thing which lets this place down. I spent a week at sea and was unable to contact the property 24 hours before check-in. On the day of arrival it was impossible to get in touch with the property and this caused a lot of uncertainty and stress. I was about to book another room elsewhere but then took an Uber to check the place out in the hope that someone would let me in. As it turned out there was a very friendly and helpful receptionist (Argentinian) who saved the day. She managed to help me getting the right form to get the access code for the door lock and from then on, things looked up. The room is basic but has a good size table which I found useful as I had to do some work on the laptop. I was given a beach towel too, which came in handy. The surrounding area is great. In the middle of the beautiful Art Deco area, in the heart of all the action. The beach is one block away and there are plenty of good restaurants. I am glad I made my way as I almost had lost hope. This was a needless stress and could have been avoided. I use Expedia a lot and never have I experienced such a cumbersome check-in process. This needs some improvement. Judging from all the comments, this is a common theme. The lobby is comfortable and looks nice and retro. They organise trips too and that's useful too.

I had a reservation. Day of arrival, I received numerous text messages asking me to fill out an arrival form. I was unsuccessful in numerous attempts to complete the form. When we arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm, there was no one in attendance. The front door required a code to enter. we were forced to find another hotel.

This was a perfect location with lots of choices for food and a close beach with amazing local culture. The room was amazing. There is no elevator, so carrying our luggage was an adventure in heels!
