NICE HOTEL WITH ALL AMENITIES AND EXCELLENT PRICEPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: NICE BUILDING WITH BETTER AMENITIES THEN EXPECTED. SUPER PRICE AND NICE AND QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD.
Cons: PLEASE STATE CLEARLY THAT THE FREE SHUTTLE TO THE AIRPORT SHOULD BE RESERVED AND THAT IT WORKS UNTIL 10 PM. THIS WILL AVOID CONFUSIONS AND SAVE TIME.
Location: FOR A RIDE TO MIAMI DOWNTOWN THE METRORAIL STATION IS VERY CONVENIENT. DADELAND MALL, THE SHOPS AT SUNSET PLACE AND WINN DIXIE ARE A PLUS.
DURING MY STAY (2 WEEKS) I COULD RECEIVE MORE ATTENTION THEN EXPECTED. FOR THIS EXCELLENT PRICE I GOT A WONDERFUL ROOM WITH ALL BASIC PROMISED ELEMENTS INCLUDED. THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE AND READY TO ANSWER TO MY INQUIRIES. DURING A COUPLE DAYS WE EXPERIENCED SOME NOISE DUE SOME REPAIR OF A/C DUCTS BUT IT WAS A MINIMUM SACRIFICE TO ENSURE PROPER OPERATION OF HOTEL FACILITIES. ALMOST EVERY DAY I COULD FIND MY ROOM CLEAN AND REARRANGED. DURING THE LAST WEEK THEY INCLUDED MORE OPTIONS FOR THE BREAKFAST AND IT SHOWS FOR ME THEIR DESIRE TO GROW AND TO IMPROVE NEW POLICIES ATTENDING CUSTOMER SUGGESTIONS.

Happiness to DisappointmentPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Landscaping was nice.
Cons: Receive what's paid for. Personnel more helpful and friendlier. Parking garage need elevators.
Location: Location was fine. A bit difficult to get in and out of parking garage.
I asked Expedia if there were any hidden fees. They said no. Upon arrival, I was charged $8.25 a night for garage parking and an additional $2 a night for safe deposit box, which I did not need and requested not to have. Hotel said fee stays. Also from parking garage, had to carry luggage up flight of stairs. No elevator. Was not told upon arrival. I requested a King-size bed. Expedia said it was available and granted. When I arrived at hotel, only 2 double beds were available. Just outside my room was an Ice machine. I was so happy, until there was no ice. Hotel said all ice machines were broken that they would give me ice in the hotel lobby. Not enough towels were in room for husband and me. There was no toilet paper either. Had to call twice for delivery. Expedia also stated that Wifi was available in the hotel room. Wifi was only available in lobby. Breakfast staff was extremely unfriendly, greeting server and her saying nothing. (I don't want to hear that she doesn't speak English either!) Requested a printed receipt upon departure. You'd thought I asked for the impossible. I also asked if I could have my water mug filled with ice. Suddenly, there was no ice. Very unprofessional and disappointed.

It should be gutted and remodeled!Posted Aug 4, 2014
Not worth the money with the hidden fees. They charge you for parking and a safe in the room even if you don't use them.

Worst Miami hotel!!!Posted Aug 3, 2014
Location: The location wasn't the best location. There is a small shopping center not to far away.
My experience was terrible, this was the worst hotel experience I've ever experienced. The hotel was very dirty and looked nothing like the picture posted. The hotel rooms were very unacceptable and they also smelt like mold and mildew. The sheets and comforters had stains all over them not to mention they were smelly and dirty. The room was filled with water on the floor due to the a/c leaking. The customer service from the front desk was unprofessional and they weren't helpful at all. This isn't an insult this is the truth. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to no one. The hotel isn't located in a safe area at all.

Location is the only benefit to this hotelPosted Jul 30, 2014
My husband an d I had stayed at this hotel several years ago and went back to it with our two small children ( 4 and 1)- what a disappointment, our room was horrible; would not recommended it or stay there ever again.

Best deal for a single night pre-cruise stay.Posted Jul 23, 2014
The hotel is a very good deal for the $$ paid, didn't have enough time to explore all amenities. Pros: 1. Complementary transportation "from the airport" and "to the cruise terminal". 2. Hotel location is in proximity to many dinning and last minute shopping options. 3. Nice swimming pool. Cons: 1. Breakfast options/method can be improved. 2. Mandatory safe box fees. 3. Not so clean bathroom (may be it was just the room I got).
