Nettes Personal

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Personal und Pizzaflyer
Cons: Geruch!

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Die sehr gute Lage.

One Night

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: The transfer to the port of Miami was pleasurable
Cons: A LOT
Location: This is what was funny to us... it is in a great area with shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel served its purpose.... we needed a place to sleep for ONE NIGHT and a transfer to the port. The transfer to the port was how and why we selected this hotel. The other reason was it advertised a "Continental Breakfast"... DO NOT plan on that. The food was poor and the person helping with the breakfast didn't speak English. The bathroom was NOT clean... it felt gross to think about taking a shower because the tub was so dirty. There was mold everywhere in the bathroom. The floors in the main area were sticky and the bed felt like a 50 year old mattress. We survived our ONE NIGHT with a lesson learned.

I will never return to this dump!

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. They were as helpful as they could be under the circumstances.
Cons: The best way to improve this hotel would be to tear it down and start over.
Location: It is near shopping, movies, and the University of Miami. Oh, did I mention that it is near two hospitals with emergency rooms.
1. Check-in was bad. There was a long wait. Then, my check-in was interrupted by the person ahead of me who returned complaining that the room he had been given was already occupied by a very large and very angry naked man. The next interruption was the large, angry man calling to complain about a stranger intruding into his room. I interrupt someone else's check-in when I had to return to the front desk because the room key cards they gave me did not work. 2. They room was freezing (52 degrees). There was no heating cycle; all I could do was turn off the A/C. Without A/C, the humidity went way up, leaving the room both cold and damp. The window was bolted shut. Staff said they kept it cold to cut down on bacteria. It obviously did not work on the mildew growing along the edge of the ceiling and top of the walls. 3. There were only two bath towels, one hand towel, and one wash cloth. They were not replaced during my stay, not even the wet wash cloth I left wadded in the sink. The water in the shower would not stay at one temperature, oscillating between scalding and tepid. 4. The complementary breakfast was inedible - even worse than school cafeteria food. The scrambled eggs were tasteless and granular - probably powdered. The sausage was cold and greasy. The bread was stale. 5. The hotel was within blocks of two hospitals with emergency rooms. The ambulance sirens went off frequently all night.

Hotel appears a bit run down. Didn't like that guests have to go to the front desk for a simply thing like towels .

Hotel was old and poorly kept

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Sorry, nothing
Cons: All of the above
Location: The medical clinic
I was there for meeting my new physicians. Found that the staff tried to make me comfortable. There was only 1 machine for getting snacks. The restaurant was closed. No place close to eat.
