“Nice hotel on a good location”

Service, cleanness and location are satifying. I booked a smokers room but on arrival the hotel turn out to be a non-smokers hotel now without prior notice. No compensation for this slight inconveiniance. We smoked on the balcony which don't had chairs on it. Other than this, it is a nice hotel with friendly staff. Very close to the Dolphin Mall which is very nice. Other than a simple breakfast, you can't get a real decent meal in the hotel. You have to go to the mall to dinner or lunch. Yes there is a "market" of about six sqare feet in the hotel where you can buy a sandwich and a coke. Coffe is complementairy. Recommended for shoppers like we. Not so much a hotel if you travel with youg kids. Make sure you rent a car. Taxi is expensive and other shopping places are certainly not in walking distance.

When to go

Mariott Courtyard Doral @ Dolphin Mall is located about 250 yards from the mall. You can wlk it easy. If you're young, fit and healty, you can wlk to the nearby International Mall too. We preferred a cab. We visited the US1 Discount Mall where you can buy stuff at really discounted prices. This mall is not really intended for tourist. Expect locals there from all nationalities. The middle class looks down on that mall but we find it just fine and had a nice time browsing the stands. If you're comfortable with people in general than this mall will be no problem. Don't expect, if any, extended warrenties on the products you buy there.

“Very handy location”

About a minute's walk to Dolphin Mall made it really handy for our shopping trip with an 18 month in tow. Hotel wasn't anything spectacular but it was clean and relatively quiet. Front desk seemed a little bored (still polite) when serving us but one member stood out. A German girl who was interested in making sure we got our taxi and entertaining our daughter as we were packing up. Would definitely come again. Down side would be not having an in room safe.

“Convenient location Hotel”

Location is great, within walking distance to the mall. It is also well located near Florida's Turnpike. Hotel staff is very courteous and willing to help at all times. Breakfast buffet is available at a reasonable charge. Vending machines and ice machines in all floors. Rooms are comfortable still It would be nicer if rooms had a small refrigerator. Free cable and WiFi internet available in all rooms but sometimes Internet may not be available because there is limited number of connections available. Plenty of parking space. If noise bothers you you may be aware that you can listen to airplanes flying by at all times during the day. I will continue to use this hotel in future visits to Miami.

“Enjoy this Hotel!”

It was very pleasant. It was within walking distance to the Dolphin Mall and this was great since I was traveling alone and did not rent a car. The room was very clean. It felt as if I was the first person to stay in it. I would stay here again for any future trips I may have.

The Dolphin Mall was all I needed. I had dinner there, shopped, dessert and drinks.

“See you in Courtyard!”

Although it was only one night our stay went smoothly. The room was immaculate. We just wish there had been a small fridge. A trifle, not a big deal. The hotel is very well located near the Dolphin Mall which is a very nice mall; quite convenient for us. It was a bit more money but I guess you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend this hotel if if falls within your budget.

Area recommendations

If you are looking to buy wholesale, the environs surrounding 20th Street or "Calle Vente" as it is sometimes referred to is the place to go.

“Always a great place to go as a stop over for shopping and relaxing”

The Courtyard Marriott is always a place I like to stay when I am stopping over for a short stay in Miami to shop and just relax. The Front Desk and all employees are always friendly, even though the hotel has limited amenities. The gym, was clean and sufficient, although two machines were not plugged in and working at the time. Overall, a great stay, as usual....The Breakfast is also fantastic with plenty of healthy conscious items to choos from!

Area recommendations

Miami, South Beach, Dolphin Mall areas, all great for restaurants, shops, nightlife and close proximity to Hotel.
