Prior to arrival was not aware that this was a motel and not a hotel , rooms was outside. However it was a pleasant stay, it had some faults like water pressure was low but other than that the stay was good. Staff was polite and attentive to needs. Surrounding area was good lots of food options and walkable places

Are you tired of dealing with dishonest hotel staff? Unfortunately, I recently experienced this firsthand. I had made a reservation for two nights through Expedia and received confirmation that everything was in order. However, upon arriving at the hotel for check-in, I was stunned to hear that my room had already been given away to another guest. To make matters worse, my booking had been canceled and I was left to sleep in my car that night. It seems that the hotel staff sold my room to someone else for a higher price. Don't let this happen to you - choose a hotel with a reputation for honesty and integrity. Be advised that Expedia did NOT accept any responsibility for this issue, and only repeated the word of dishonest hotel staff. On top of that, you should know that it is not a real hotel, it is mostly a low-quality Motel

This was not a hotel, it’s a motel. I’m shocked it’s on Expedia. I wish I could get some sort of refund. The bathroom window had no curtain, the adjacent building could look right into my bathroom. I had no privacy there.

When I booked this property, I was optimistic. I've never booked a motel before, but bookings were limited in the area we wanted, so Up Midtown was one of my only choices. The photos online with Expedia led me to believe that we'd have a decent experience as far as room design & cleanliness. Boy was I wrong. Parking was almost non existent, and a massive tractor trailer was blocking the parking lot by being parked on the street/curb. When we walked in to the room, we knew instantly we were not going to be staying. It smelled of 100 cigarettes. Smoke coated the walls and you could see the discoloration from the original paint color. The appliances in the room were covered in dirt and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The floors were covered with dirt. Burn holes in the linen on the beds. Black smudging near the electrical switches (god knows what that was about). No one in our party was remotely close to being ok with feeling comfortable or staying the night, let alone two. $400 for two nights.... I wouldn't have payed more than $100 total. The photos online show a clean, well kept, well decorated room interior. What we got was far from it. I appreciate the front desk staffer helping us in cancelling the stay and providing insight in to the process. Aside from that, there was nothing at this property that would convince me to book again, nor recommend to anyone.

On a noisy major intersection next to the entrance of a highway and train tracks…non-stop sirens and cars honking horns with the occasional train horn. I could hear the tv and every word of my neighbors through the very thin walls and outside my door. My room would shake upon my neighbor slamming their door. I have video of an entire conversation I could hear laying in my bed. You either lay closer to the loud inspection or facing a wall, hence shrouded in darkness and awash in fluorescent lighting. On the plus side, the front desk staff was patient, friendly, and accommodating when I requested to check out early and besides the inept mattresses, the room was decent. Expedia treated the situation with grace and demonstrated excellent customer service skills. If you can sleep anywhere at the drop of a hat and just looking for an inexpensive place to rest your head near the action, then this is the place for you. If you are a person who is sensitive to your surroundings and need high vibes to thrive, then keep searching.

Juan at the front desk was very helpful and professional. Parking was very good and the room was very clean. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear the television in the next person's room, but I simply purchased some earplugs and used them to sleep without the noise interference (highly recommend). But other than that I will definitely stay here again because it is centrally located, very clean and an excellent price.

Cruise Delay
We had a delay with the cruise line and the front desk allowed us to store our luggage. Customer service was great. The bed was amazing and comfortable. The corners in the room needed to be cleaned and mopped.

Super decent hotel in the Miami area! This was our second time staying here and will continue to stay here when we come down to Miami. My only complaint was that the walls are super thin, and we had really obnoxious guests in the room next to us that played their stereo all night long and were very loud and obnoxious. There's no phone in the room to dial the front desk to complain and ask them to help, and when we went down to the office it was locked and no one was there. So there was no way to complain and remedy the situation. Other than that, its a really great place to stay. Very affordable.
