Mokelumne Hill Vacations
Many of Jackson’s most interesting sights are close to Mokelumne Hill, making it a great place to base yourself while you are in town. Two destinations that should top every visitor’s itinerary is the fascinating Mokelumne Hill Library and the ever-popular Mokelumne Hill Monument. If time permits, be sure to also visit the Mokelumne Hill City Park and the Minnie Provis Park.
To really get a feel for Jackson, head to one of its museums and theaters. Find the treasures kept in some of the museums such as the Amador Whitney Museum in Amador City. Acclaimed galleries, include John's Gallery in Amador City.
There are a number of natural gifts here as well, so don’t miss the nearby green spaces. Read a book or newspaper in one of the parks and gardens, which include Bryson Park in Sutter Creek and Detert Park.
