This hotel is not customer friendly. I had an emergency and ended up in the hospital the day of my stay. The third party I went through assured me I would get a refund. The hotel staff refused. Book with a large chain hotel that is more flexible with policy's and more focused on customer service in times of need.

Nice room along a main route. Breakfast was cereal, pastries and fruit. Pretty minimal. No dining area.

Love that each room has a gas fireplace! We love it and book here because of it. Free parking which another plus! Very friendly staff and very customer oriented! It’s a hidden gem for budget conscious travelers!

We have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We stayed for 5 days, and it was, clean, very quiet, and reception staff was very helpful. The room was very large, bed was very comfortable, and the fireplace added a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again.

For the price this place was amazing... Warm friendly welcome clean upto date rooms comfy bed lovely outside area to sit in the sun with a coffee good choice of breakfast and 2 min drive to the beach we loved it and would certainly stay again...

Clean room, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and nice quality bedding. I like the fireplace! Good water pressure in shower and nice layout to the room. Conveniently located to shopping and downtown.

We stayed for one night in an extra large king room. The room was HUGE for the price point with open beam ceilings to 14'. Clean room, everything worked, quiet, comfy bed and super friendly staff at check in. The grab and go breakfast was all we needed before heading home. Will definitely stay here again or recommend to friends who visit Monterey.

The amazing staff really went out of their way to help us. Our car had a bad battery that went out while we were staying there. The handy man drove to his home got his jumper cables and got us up and running. It was a very embarrassing moment that was relieved very quickly by some folks with very big hearts.

Very clean and well-maintained, good soundproofing, strong water pressure in the shower, tasty in-room coffee. Breakfast is essentially grab and go. Definitely would stay here again.

We ended up booking our room for another couple of nights. I’m bummed that I forgot to do it through Expedia but that’s OK. The room was decent for the price and surprisingly large. Front desk people were pleasant. We were very satisfied here and would stay here again if we’re in the area 😊

The room was clean. The inn was in a decent neighborhood. The Del Monte Shopping Center nearby. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice, polite and helpful. Overall, we were pleased with the room.

The bed and pillows where very comfortable, the room itself was cozy loved the high vaulted ceilings, loved that there was everything in the room refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker , closet and all the closet accessories ironing board. We will definitely come back and request our same room even had a peek a boo view of the ocean .

It was the cutest little room ! The bed was so comfy and its near to a shopping mall with great meal options. Also close to Fisherman's Wharf 17 mile drive and downtown Monterey. I will stay here again.

My only complaint is that my heater never went above 68 and it was raining. Plus when I extended my stay by a day, the manager charged me more than my Expedia rate without any notice upon the change.

We had a lovely room with a fireplace. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was slim on variety with two kinds of dry cereal, yogurt, and store bought sweet rolls. The coffee was good. As we were visiting relatives, this facility was all that we needed. The price was reasonable without all of the hidden resort fees that some places charged. We'll stay here again.

Very easy to find, easy check in and check out. Simple little breakfast provided. Free parking. Nice large clean room, a little sparse but everything was in good order. One downside was the WiFi was lacking, weak signal and spotty.
