Beautiful spot
Great cottage on the White River. Plenty of beds, outdoor seating for our group. Best part is that it was Very private! Plenty of parking, well appointed home, and grills for outdoor cooking made our stay great. Saving this one for a future trip.

Great Stay
We met our friends here for a guys fishing trip. It was my husband's birthday and wanted to do something he would enjoy for his birthday. The house is wonderful, very well set up (love the labels on everything) and very peaceful. The guys fished out the back of the house the first day and caught a few, but ended up driving over to Cotter (Rim Shoals) where they really caught their fish! Could not have asked for a better place to kick back, relax and enjoy some great time with great friends! Thank you and we hope to be back next year!

Perfect spot for our vacation
We loved this home. Very private. Plenty of room for our family of six. Beautiful deck/patio area overlooking the river. Large yard - we played baggo, whiffle ball, baseball and football. We even caught trout right from the fishing dock when the water was right. The house is located near several river access points if you are headed out onto the river. Can't think of anything we needed that was not provided by the host. They even provided fishing bait and tackle. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Great property for small groups
From the moment we entered until we left the experience was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was really well appointed. There were lots of indoor and outdoor games. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the river. We were fly fishing and went down to Buffalo City to fish. We really enjoyed having the garage to store our rods and to outfit them before we went fishing. The hostess was wonderful and checked up with us to make sure all was ok.

Excellent hideaway!
Absolutely perfect if you fish & want to be miles from anywhere else. No cell reception, which is great for those that want to be a little off the grid (though wifi was super-quick. Great communication and easy to check-in. Very impressed with the whole place. Highly recommend.

We loved our time at the Riverside and the things to do in the area. The fishing pier was great and even watched a mink in the downed tree to the right of the pier one morning. Great place for families and swimming at Buffalo City was wonderful. Hope to return.

Wow, I'm speechless about how great this is!
I've stayed in many VRBO properties and I think this was the most clean, well-maintained and well-supplied. From the comprehensive collection of spices and condiments to the complimentary s'mores kit and fire pit with fire wood, there was nothing else we could have wished for. Darcie was just the right amount of friendly and attentive. We'll be back again!

What a beautiful place for a getaway, a sister trip of 5 with extras galore! Felt so cozy, our only downfall was rain but we have fun no matter , the river view was beautiful, we dabbled in some fishing when the rain stopped, but will definitely go again! Girls Trip!
We had a wonderful stay at the HideAway on the White River. The property is exactly as listed and has such a relaxing feel about it. We spent a lot of time on the patio overlooking the river. One morning we used the binoculars provided to watch two river otters on the opposite bank and also a Heron. Nice to have coffee in the morning and also enjoy the shade there in the afternoon/evening. Darcie was great with communication before and during our trip! She was so sweet to offer suggestions for local restaurants and decorated with a banner and balloons for my nieces birthday and she also made decorations for the entry door celebrating our "Girls Trip 2022". We strongly recommend eating at "Jamies" restaurant in Mountain Home!! The food was fabulous, just wish we weren't so full and could enjoy dessert also! We will definitely return to this property in the future.

This place was awesome. Even better than pictures. Just a little house with a beautiful view.
My husband and grand daughter enjoyed fishing from the pier and catching quite a few trout I might add. I loved sitting at the table watching the boats go by. The kitchen was packed with whatever that you may need. It was just so cute.

Can't tell you how wonderful it is to sit on the deck and watch the White River wind its way past you. The background of lush trees just adds to the ambiance. Wanna keep it for myself.
Excellent, clean inside and out. Great outdoor location as well as indoor comfort. House was perfect size for my family of 5. Boat picked us up at the dock in the back yard. Used the driveway and quiet road leading up to the house for runs. We will return. Five out of five.

Amazing Family Vacation on the White River
Simply Amazing! That's the overall impression you have when staying at this fantastic property right on the White River in Mountain Home. My son and I drove cross country from California to visit my daughter and the grandkids. We had 3 lovely nights in this wonderful property and took full advantage of everything it had to offer!. Our host Darice was the best and incredibly attentive, thought we didn't need her at all as the property was perfect and had everything our family needed! Highly recommended!

The house was well equipped with all the necessities. The house is on a quiet part of the river so your relaxation won't be disturbed by boat traffic. Great patio, fishing poles in the garage, comfortable beds, and very clean. We would stay again.

This house is just as advertised, if not more so. It is a beautiful location, and the house was very clean and well-equipped. It had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect for the guys to go fishing — both guided and on their own with my son’s boat. And to just relax and enjoy each other’s company. The patio gave spectacular views of the river during the day and the stars at night. And was very comfortable. We loved our time here and hope to return! Darcie was THE BEST to work with!

My Happy Place
This was a repeat visit for me and I will return again as soon as I can. We enjoy the seclusion of the property and the natural beauty Arkansas is known for. We caught fish off the dock and cooked them the same day. We enjoyed a show in Branson and dinner at Paula Dean’s restaurant. There are beautiful roads to explore on the motorcycle if you’re up for that. The property manager is wonderful. I left a jacket there that she promptly mailed to me the next day. There is nothing that I could offer as a constructive critique for this place We love coming here.

We were looking for a get-away during Spring Break that afforded us seclusion, a water view and room for outdoor games. We found that and more! The property was immaculate and the kitchen was completely stocked with spices, oil, condiments and a complete selection of eating and cooking ware. But best of all was the host—Darcie stayed in touch from the time we made our reservations until we checked out. She patiently answered all questions and offered great advice about the area. We will be back!
