It was beautiful. Clean and well presented. The pool was a little slippery, and the water was bloody cold, but was so good and very refreshing

Everything was great. Late check in, owner was nice and friendly. Only stayed two nights so we didnt need much and this place was great for what we needed.

Had a really great stay here and would recommend to anyone. When I opened the door, I was truly amazed to see the room was so spacious and really well set out. The bathroom was also a great space for the sink and shower. Some places your shoulders would touch both sides of the walls but this definitely was not that. Going there at the end of July, you want the heater to work and it certainly did that. The bed was really comfy, especially since I had been having terrible back problems during my holiday so the last thing you want is a block of concrete to sleep on. This was great. In fact, I also fell asleep on the lounge in there. The fella on reception was a top bloke too. Some places certainly could learn from him. I will certainly be back :-)

We really enjoyed the ambience of the motel and found the staff very approachable. We needed a bowl to heat up food and it was quickly supplied. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty, but nothing to get worked up about! Overall a splendid stay and with superb fittings and cleanliness. thank you Golden Leaf!

We arrived after hours, but the motel had a proactive and easy check in service for us. Room is super clean, new bathroom and everything in working order. We stayed 5 nights and everything was good. The BBQ area is really cosy and lovely. We didn't use it, but will do so when we return next year!

Check in was easy. Good price Get what you pay for as it's abit of an older motel. Eg the place feels like it was last reno'd over 30 years ago. Would come back if other options are limited

The spa bath had dirty rings around it were it had not been cleaned. There was hair in the basin. My husband has a sleep apnea machine that he needed to plug in to power. The power point was behind the bed when he moved the bed to plug it in he found 7 water bottles and a dirty cup underneath the bed. The couch was dirty and covered in crumbs. The bed had clean sheets and was comfortable enough. When I complained to reception I was told bloody cleaners and not offered any compensation.
