Fantastic!
Eight adults, eight bicycles, four vehicles and so much fun! Very clean and spacious house, well appointed in all areas. The backyard is the bomb and we spent all our "at home " time enjoying it. Host is super responsive and accomodating. Will stay here again for sure.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of 7. Spacious and comfortable. Backyard was truly an oasis. The pool was fabulous, clean and warm. The screened in gazebo was used day and night. Shaded area by day, bug-free board game area by night. The pictures of this property really do not do it justice. We have rented many homes for family vacations, this was my favorite. Home was spotless upon arrival and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Excellent communication with owner. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property and it was nothing short of spectacular! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the property exceeded our expectations in every way. Mark absolutely made sure that we were well taken care of and have everything we need. The attention to detail in the design and cleanliness of the place was remarkable. We had a fantastic time enjoying the amenities, the location was perfect for our vacation and we had a great opportunity to discover Naples. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return. Beautiful- Tropical retreat, without a doubt
My sisters and I stayed for the weekend, and absolutely loved it. Very clean, all the appliances worked, and the outdoor garden and pool was gorgeous. Our host was very gracious, helpful, and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again.

The property is everything they advertised. I can see why they call it the Tropical Retreat. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was great and the landscaping with the waterfall and palm trees was amazing. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Fabulous house and pool

Spectacular

Tropical Oasis
Our host Dovile was wonderful. Everything you would need was there. The backyard is an absolute oasis. The pool is a good size. The host supplied beach chairs and towels for nearby beach. I would stay here again. Traveled with my family they all enjoyed their stay. The location is great with a short drive to all nearby attractions and markets.

Fourth of July Vacation

This was a good stay with a beautiful backyard. The home was well equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable. Other than a plumbing issue with the toilets it was perfect. Also, the owner was very responsive to all of our needs. I do recommend staying here.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this rental. Backyard was very nice and tropical. The pool was warm and relaxing... We BBQ'd and enjoyed the fire pit at night after a swim. The house is super clean... Close to everything we wanted to do. Communication with Dovile went very well... She was readily available to answer all my questions. She even went above and beyond and ordered a waffle maker for us. (Which now other guests can enjoy!) Great rental... We will be back!

I was thrilled with this property. My family and I had an excellent time while staying in this house including my dog which is old and needs to come with me as she is a service dog of mine. Clean, organized, comfortable, accessible, equipped with all needed items to enjoy . Located close to nice places. The communication with the owner was easy and supportive. I do recommend people to stay at this house and I would definitely rent it again for me and my family and my dog.

Great for a getaway
Stayed here for a girls trip! Plenty of space. Loved having our own pool! The property manager was great with communication. I had a ton of questions and she was happy to answer before and during the trip. There was a descriptive binder on the property for additional info. 5-10 min drive to the beach and restaurants. Lots of kitchen necessities and bedding. There were also beach towels and some sunscreen. I would highly recommend!

Perfect Spring Break Getaway
This location was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The spacious backyard was great for the kiddos, especially mine since he doesn't like the water yet (he's 1.5 years old). Dovile had everything you would need and more for a stay (tons of towels, beach towels, beach chairs, pool toys, washer/dryer, etc). The location was very close to Tin City and other beaches which was great! House was spacious enough for the 2 little ones to run around inside and also for 5 adults. The outdoor space honestly was like an oasis, you felt like you were at a tropical resort! Definitely would go back again!

Upon arrival to the property, we were a little disappointed with the outdated look of the house. Pictures of the outside of the house were not part of its advertisement, so it came as a sad surprise for us. In addition, there were two trash bins out front, with one overflowing with trash with the lid open. As we came inside the property, we found that the furniture including those in the bedrooms and bathrooms looked like they were a few decades old and looked very much used. The bathroom mirrors were chipped, and on top of the toilet bowl there was an old opened air freshener with gel that looked dirty. The closet had a string hanging from the ceiling and attached to it was what looked like a glow stick. As we walked to the kitchen I spotted a dead cockroach. There were plants and dirt at the bottom of the pool. The house gates facing the streets were held together by an old rope. We did not feel safe. We decided to leave the property and not stay at all. When we called VRBO to cancel we were told that even with the travel insurance that we purchased from VRBO, it was not possible to do so. We also contacted the owner and she said that all I had described was my perception, and she doubted that we had entered the house since it didn’t show that we were in there. In addition she said that we were not getting any money back from her. She also contacted me the day after saying that the cockroach we found was just one and that I should know that the house is in a lush landscape, which is what people love. I didn’t find that to be a response that should be expected from a host. I live in Florida too, and I don’t love cockroaches. On the day of our travel prior to checking in, I notified the owner we were bringing pets, assuming that the pet fee could be added to my card, as we hadn’t originally planned on bringing pets. The owner notified me that the pet fee had to be paid to her personal Zelle account. It would have been nice if there was a way to manage all payments through VRBO for record keeping. This wasn’t the case, so I paid the owner directly. I wished the pictures had been more realistic to what we found it to be. We did not stay for any of the nights that we payed for. We ended up driving back home hours away very sad having undergone this unpleasant experience for something we had been looking forward to for weeks.

Uniquely Secluded Back Yard Oasis
Really enjoyed my stay at this property....it is well-kept, very clean and comfortable. The owner has created a very unique setting in the back yard...a secluded atmosphere with the pool as the centerpiece....the design of this area was well done and you may forget you are in he middle of town while sitting by the pool.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Tropical Retreat and it was everything we thought it would be and more. The house is very welcoming and relaxing. The backyard became our oasis. Very beautiful. Laying in the pool listening to the waterfall in the background was amazing. We enjoyed the property so much, we stayed a little longer. Would highly recommend. Disappointed but it’s a lovely backyard.
Vrbo recently contacted us via email to review our stay at Tropical Retreat. During this time, with all the sadness in our world due to Corona virus, I contemplated whether or not to write a not positive review and if it was appropriate. We tried to work our situation but to no avail. VRBO obviously wanted a review so here it is.... The rental is an older home with well used furnishings in an okay but run down neighborhood. It is close to Old Naples which is a plus. The back yard/waterfall is beautiful and the pool is in fairly good condition. The home is typical of most rentals. Not impeccable but nice for a stay in Naples. Of course their were some things that were in not the best condition. Light out in shower, only one landscape light worked, water always on a part of the pool pad, dingy kitchen chairs, picture on the floor, soiled area rug, dog scratches on the paint, fence that was lose and our dog did get out once, blinds that either did not work correctly or let light in, noisy neighbors, etc. but we never expected it to be perfect! If you rent the house, I would ask to do a walk through with the owner before and after your stay. While the owner or assistant inspect the home after you leave, I’d ask for the owner. Possibly there is a discrepancy between the two? At the minimum, I’d take pictures of any issues you see at the house and document them as soon as you arrive. This will help given any complaints and the possibility of withholding your our entire deposit as happened with us. How could the claimed damage be exactly the amount the owner could hold? The blinds in the guest room were yellow and slats were broken when we arrived. We were accused of letting our grandchildren paint a chair. If anyone looks at it, they would realize that no child under 4 would be capable of doing so. We were accused of extra soiling yet you will find soiled kitchen table chairs, rug and furniture when you arrive. We paid a lot for a months stay plus a dog fee. Any extra soil in the house could be due to the new water line in the back which created mud. We mopped the floors before we left and felt, left the home exactly how it was when he arrived. Our dogs did no damage. Our last week, beaches and restaurants closed. We never complained once about many things that were not right within the house and tried to do extras to even make it better. We use VRBO a lot in the states and in Europe. I am saddened that this ended up going wrong.

Kathi, I would have been happy to have handyman to fix the lights, would I have been notified. This first I heard of the lights was through this review as well as the email threatening to write a bad review. I understand you are upset that your deposit wasn't returned however in the many years I have been renting the house, this is the firs time I had to keep a security deposit. We have been fortunate with wonderful guests that have taken care of the property and respected it. Wish I could say the same for you. Unfortunately the damage caused to the property during your stay far acceded the $500 deposit. I wish you all the best and be safe

Short Vacation
The interior of the property is well maintained, organized and clean. The backyard is a secluded tropical paradise which we enjoyed very much. The front of the property made us a little cautious at first upon our approach but once we entered the property and a quick call to the property manager eased our concerns. Very close to downtown Naples and Marco Island. Overall a wonderful experience.

We had a 3 week Christmas family vacation at this beautiful home and it wasn’t long enough. It is fully stocked and in a great location. We all couldn’t believe how close we were to downtown Naples, Naples Pier, Naples Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Tin City, shopping, great golfing and not to mention the gorgeous backyard pool area. Amazing. Yochi is so professional, always promptly responded to any questions we had before and during our stay. This was a great experience, would definitely stay again.
