"It was a clean house on a quiet street close to Concord University. Peaceful setting. Short drive to Princeton when we wanted to eat out or shop. We had activities at the university so it was nice and close. House is as listed, older but very nice and a great place to relax and get away. Beautiful area."

It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go. Plenty of rooms for all, and the large kitchen gave us lots of room for all to gather at meal time without tripping over each other. We loved the large yard where the kids could run off their energy and the large deck was a real joy. When we had a question we got answers almost immediately. That was a real bonus. "This was our second stay at the cow house with our sheltie, Bear. I love that it is in the country, but only about 15 min from Blacksburg. We love to watch the cows walk through and drink from the river that runs just by the house. Beautiful views, sweet smells of the countryside, and wonderful accommodations. We will be back!"

"I visited in the fall with some college friends for a game weekend, and had an incredible stay! The house is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance to campus and downtown. The host was extremely helpful and communicative. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Blacksburg for a weekend!"

You cannot beat the lake views from almost every room in the house, and so much outdoor space to enjoy it. The house is only about 30 minutes to VT campus and about 10 minutes from a grocery store, restaurants, and shops if you needed anything. "It's an older home so the floors were a bit uneven, but all the furnishings were very nice, loved the walk-in showers. I did need to use the complimentary earplugs because it's directly beside the railroad track and there are frequent trains, including at night, but with those in I slept great, comfy beds. The road into Eggleston and the driveway to the cottage are fairly steep and winding, I was glad I had AWD. Highly recommend walking over to the Pallisades for dinner, it was SO GOOD. Wi-fi...

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"The bus was awesome! Had everything we needed for a short stay. Comfortable bed, a nice fire pit, shower, toilet, and refrigerator. Lacking ample firewood scavenging. Suggest bring your own firewood. Recommend keeping your dogs away from woods as there were an abundance of brier prickers."

If you have a wifi code you should include it in welcome letter as when you get there the service is very low to non existing."
