The toilet in our room wasn’t working when we checked in. It took some back and forth before finally getting changed to another room. A bit of hassle with only 24hrs planned for Nazaré. Our group was enjoying the bar late one evening. The night manager claimed to be receiving noise complaints. Instead of addressing us directly he stomped around and got angry. It became unpleasant. The bedding was really nice and comfortable. The distance from the beach and shops was fantastic.

The lady at the reception was very friendly, she recommended activities and places. The hotel is located just 10 minutes walk from the elevator to the viewpoint.

Staff was unfriendly. Beds were hard as a rock. Room was near the elevator and the sound from the breakfast buffet below echoed up the stairwell. Parking garage downstairs was a nightmare with a medium sized rental car. Would not recommend this hotel.

5th floor (the only floor with sea view) is below the level of the pool, chlorine vapors (gas) is heavier than air which means that the excessive chemicals in the pool flooded the 5th floor making the air very uncomfortably chlorinated/bromide strong. Despite opening the exterior doors, placing a wet towel under the hotel door, the caustic odor from the pool totally permeated our room. Front desk staff acknowledged that this was a problem and apologized, but were unable to give us another room due to booking. Other than that the hotel was nice, but management really needs to consider adding external ventilation to the elevated 5th floor pool to remove these caustic vapors. We barely slept that evening and that was too bad for an otherwise nice hotel

Good hotel just a short distance from the beach. Centrally located so easy to get to everything. Clean rooms and nice bathrooms. Breakfast was a nice selection and staff was friendly and helpful. Parking in their underground garage was super convenient.

Amazing service and the parking was easy! Nazare is a beach town so you are better off with your car put away. Our triple room was spacious and we had a city view which was that huge hill we took to see the big waves! Bring a swim cap to use the heated rooftop pool! It was open in January!

Our stay at Hotel Praia was enjoyable and relaxing. The room was clean and just the right size. The staff was available and helpful. The breakfast was good with sufficient seating. The hotel is in a great location; very close to the beach but away from the noisy crowds. I highly recommend Hotel Praia.

Nice hotel in great central location in Nazare
We stayed two nights in this hotel. It is very modern and the design is more on the cool side. Parking in the adjacent underground garage for EUR 5 per day was very convenient. The location is great, very close to restaurants, the beach, shopping and a Spar grocery store. We had a balcony and could see the waves crashing on the beach from there. The hotel is also right across the Community Market. There seemed to be a regular police presence in the area which is good for safety. The rooms were very clean and spacious. A much bigger bedroom and bathroom than we were used to from other hotels. The decor is very simple, modern and no frills, almost cold. So, if you are looking for a cozy and authentic atmosphere, it may not be the right hotel for you. They have a covered and heated pool on the 5th floor. It seemed quite chlorinated, and I didn’t use it. The breakfast was good and plentiful. I particularly loved the Nespresso machine, which made Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato. Delicious. The staff at breakfast was very kind and attentive. The staff at the front desk (check-in and check-out) somewhat lacked the enthusiasm, customer service attitude and attentiveness that would have made a more positive difference. We would probably be back if we returned to Nazare.

Great location. Almost everything within walking distance. Good sized room. Balcony was a nice surprise. Car parking available. Superb breakfast. Not too sure about the choice of flooring, some type of plastic outdoorsy type stuff.
