Great for price
Came for Mardi Gras/50th birthday and the communication was great with the owner. What I would recommend is updating your television so streaming services can be used. Also the lights/fans were not all operable. It would have been great to have a tv in the bedroom as well. Overall it was clean and convenient to the Mardi Gras festivities. 👍

It was a great location and we had a nice stay.
My family and I are natives of New Orleans who relocated after but had not been back in town for several years. Because I don't know the landscape of the city as well as I used to, it was helpful to have the posting say that the area was safe. We had a very pleasant stay that positioned us well for all of our activities. We were about 30 minutes from downtown, 30 minutes from Metairie, and about 15 minutes from the French quarter by car. All of the individuals in the neighborhood were very pleasant to us. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable and kitchen and washing machine and dryer were great amenities to have. We would definitely consider staying again.

Nice rental for New Orleans
15 mins from French quarter 20$ for an Uber to get there. Has upstairs bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Safe quiet neighborhood. Never even seen the property owner everything over the phone. Great price and quality. 5 stars Thank You Reccommend for sure

Nice, quiet and clean
Larry was very good to work with. Good Mexican food nearby. Who could ask for more? Neighborhood seemed really safe and place was clean. Long driveway..Enough for two or three cars.Would recommend.

Great Location & Wonderful Stay
Larry was a great host and very easy to communicate with. We had a longer stay almost 4 weeks and found the house set up nicely. We really appreciated the location (walking distance to Winn Dixie grocery store), the beds were comfy and having an extra half bath downstairs was nice! When we had issues with Internet Larry went above and beyond to replace the failing router and even upgraded speeds, which was great for working from home. Duplex could use an upgrade, but we understand that would make the rental price higher so we were very content.

Overall the stay was great, but...
I would definitely recommend this property, but I needed to knock off a few stars to my rating because I question the property owner's aptitude to manage rentals. I am hoping this was just a one-off mistake on his part, but it is weird and worth mentioning nonetheless. On November 2nd (our last full day - we were scheduled to depart on the 3rd), the property owner (Larry) knocked on the door, and essentially accused us of squatting, saying we were not supposed to be there and that our last day was supposedly yesterday (the 1st). I pulled up my VRBO reservation e-mail which clearly shows we depart on the 3rd, and there was no issue after that. It was just a weird occurrence that I've never had happen before. Before someone were to do something like that - you think they would double check themselves by looking at the booking confirmation to confirm the actual date someone is to leave - and then cross reference that with what the actual date that day is (simply looking at the cellphone). So it is just something that to me was very unprofessional and easily preventable. Then it just made me wonder if he had double booked the rental with other guests on overlapping days with us, which then made me worry (as we were out on excursions that afternoon) someone would come into the home and have access to our valuables. Luckily, this was not an issue. Don't let this snippet dissuade you from booking, though. Good price for the NOLA area, amenities are outdated but do get the job done - but that is why you have a more affordable rate.

The house is a duplex. The guest next door checked out that day. I mistakenly knocked on the wrong door thinking it was the house he was in. Honest mistake. I never did that before. I apologized to him. And actually he should have been happy that I asked who he was. It's good to know that someone is looking out for him. This is a very safe neighborhood. No crime here and hope it stays that way.

Great place.
The apartment is as advertised. Clean and very nice. The neighborhood couldn't have been safer. It is quite a drive to downtown and uber's were expensive but overall everything was great. Given the chance we would definitely stay here again.

For the price and what we were looking for, it was perfect. We are paint contractors, and just wanted our own rooms, a kitchen, and ample space. It’s perfect for that. 2 king size beds. Linens and towels provided, all the essentials. If you’re looking for updated or a place with “no issues” this is not the place. But, we were super delighted and happy. Thank you Larry

Yes it is an older house, but it is very clean and neat. If I remodeled the house, I would ask $50 per night more. It's the only rental in this safe neighborhood and it is one block from a supermarket and close to many other venues.

Here's what we liked about the rental: quiet neighborhood close to shopping, washer and dryer, bedrooms upstairs, king beds, tv, wifi, cable and netflix, spacious kitchen. The condo was clean but needs some deeper cleaning, especially carpeting. Our friends got sick, so we were cleaning and disinfecting door knobs, switches, faucet and toilet handles, and the handrail. I suppose handrails don't get cleaned often. This one was very dirty. The upstairs bathroom was not thoroughly clean. The shower has a problem in that it still comes out of the tub faucet when the shower is on. The second shower went cold. The bedrooms were spacious with big closets but no drawers for clothes. The kitchen had minimal cooking utinsils, some of the pans need replacing.

Decent Property
The home is as advertised in a very safe neighborhood. However, apparently the hot/cold water faucets are opposite down stairs and work as they should upstairs. Also, I hope whoever stays here takes a quick shower because the water stays hot for about 5 minutes/half a bathtub full and the pipes sound like they’re going to explode when you turn the water on. Other than that we had no issues and the owner was quick to respond.

A MUST STAY!
We came to Louisianna for a little vacation away from our home in Ontario, Canada and had no idea what to expect. When we arrived we were well informed of the access code to allow us entry. When we came in the place was welcoming and clean and well equipped with everything. It is in such an amazing quiet community it so felt home. I would highly recommend this vacation rental unit to anybody who is looking for a home away from home. Thank you Larry

Our trip was that much better coming home to a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and a patio to enjoy the New Orleans skyline. The location and place were perfect.

The Perfect Place
We were in town for an event taking place at the convention center in New Orleans. This place was approximately 15 mins from the convention center as well as all of the NOLA happenings. The neighborhood was very pretty! Many conveniences were within walking distance. Grocery store, restaurants, banks, it's all nearby. The home itself was truly a home away from home. Off the road parking with everything needed within the home. This place is perfect! We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location
Larry was such a pleasure to work with and answered our endless questions quickly. This townhouse is cozy and located in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect home to come back to after visiting down town. The beds are comfortable and everything is extremely clean. Everything you need to cook is in the kitchen and washer and dryer and quality. The only thing we looked for but couldn't find was menus or pamphlets for local restaurants. We did Google and found a gem a few minutes away. On Thanksgiving day we used Uber to get downtown. The ride into town was only $17. The ride back was $32 but it was a holiday and they were picking us up after the football game in horrible traffic. We will definately be staying here when we return!

We had a really nice stay here for my friend's birthday! Overall, it's quiet and tucked a little away from the heart of New Orleans in a quiet and safe neighborhood (just make sure to keep your cars locked at night). Really spacious and nice place and would definitely recommend!

It was great....good location for us...it had everything we needed. The bathroom shower was a hard to work. The faucet to turn on the shower head was very difficult to turn. Otherwise all was good.

Great place!
The place was very nice and comfortable. There was just enough room for the 4 of us. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect. There were stores close by and everywhere that we wanted to go was within a 20 minute drive from this townhouse. The only thing we didn’t like was the slow drain of the shower. We just dealt with it for the weekend and didn’t bother contacting the owner but other than that, we would definitely stay again.

OMG what an amazing place. What a way to impress new visiting residents. Very clean and cozy.
We arrived to the cleanest and cutest townhouse. Every amenities that you could ask for and some surprise's like coffee and seasonings along with washing detergent. We replaced them for the next visitors. We enjoyed the outdoor porch with an incredible BBQ, We left a little grill for the next guest to enjoy. The next door neighbor was so sweet and Mr. Landry was so accommodating, my female friend arrived before us and he instructed her if she needed anything to contact him or the neighbors. We walked to Winn Dixie, that's how close it is. We will be back for sure. Thank you Mr Landry for making our visit to the cresent city so magical. Sincerely Kirt Godfrey

Quiet, family friendly community
The townhouse was perfect for our family of 4. Mr. Landry was great about working with us on an early check-in and any questions we had. It's about a 20 minute drive to the French Quarter and far enough away from the main road to be peaceful. Having Winn-Dixie two blocks away was very convenient. The house was neat and tidy. Bring ice trays or buy bagged ice as there isn't an ice maker. I think my only complaint is that after a full day of exploring, my knees were a little too pooped for the stairs to the bedroom. All in all would love to visit again and recommend highly.

Great location ,quiet and cozy!
The townhouse was in a great location and we were able to get to New Orleans every day easily! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was cozy and a nice place to sit and watch TV! I would recommend this townhouse to anyone staying in the area! Larry also helped me out with questions I had about the area as far as restaurants and places to tour.

It started off shaky but Mr. Landry competition fixed that and it was a very relaxing stay!
