Great location in the French Quarter. Staff was all friendly. Bummed to not have a fridge or microwave b/c we threw a lot of food away-my fault for not realizing when I booked. Best restaurant in the French Quarter was next door so that was awesome. The only bad thing was that my son's earbuds disappeared after they cleaned the room & they denied seeing them. He's an adult & doesn't lose things, so they either swiped them or wrapped them up in the sheets-not sure

The property itself was fine. The service was gray. The staff was fantastic. It was pretty clean. The rooms were small. The area left much to be desired because of the homelessness and the people hanging out on the street corner. But overall the hotel itself was great.

Had the do not disturb sign on the door. Housekeeping came in anyway. That was not cool. I thought that was what you used to keep them from coming in. The only other issue was it took forever for the water to get hot to take a shower but once it was hot it was great.

Nice hotel, very helpful doormen and great housekeeping. Room was unexciting but clean, no dresser and no space to use coffee maker. Very close to great restaurants and the French Quarter. Front counter service is pretty indifferent. My biggest problem was completely useless wifi, very frustrating to have to use my cell service the whole time, on a business trip. And as a woman traveling alone, this spot isn't the greatest. I wasn't nervous walking around the French Quarter or on Canal Street, until the last block or two to get back to the hotel. Just kind of rundown and people hanging around on corners. Between that and lack of wifi, for the price, I would not recommend.

The hotel does not have a large lobby. It is big enough to fit two lounge benches and two counters. It lacks a lobby bathroom. The rooms do not have a microwave or refrigerator, but can be added as an upgrade. The area surrounding the hotel is full of homeless sleeping on the street. The room smelled like mold. The smell was coming from the air conditioner. The elevators did not work sporadically the first day. Getting a taxi or Uber can take a long time due to traffic on the smaller side streets. It would be better to stay at a hotel on Canal St.

Poor housekeeping- only delivered towels, did not make beds or tidy up as expected. Bathroom toiletries minimal. Tiny bottles hard to get product out of. Bathroom tiles with mildew on them at grout/caulk lines. On arrival, valet attendant somewhat rude when asking questions about EV car charging. Not a big deal that the hotel has no place to plug in, but a rude response was not necessary. Room does not have refrigerator or microwave. Coffee machine in room but not set up for easy use. Furniture old, dresser drawers rickety and hard to open and close.

Rooms were good. Cleaning staff forgot to replenish some items. I went and got them so no big deal. All the staff were very nice and helpful. One particular door man was awesome as well as one lady at the concierge desk. Really no complaints at all. Seedy liquor store across the street but we knew that going in.

We liked the helpful and friendly staff from the bellhops to the front desk and to the cleaning staff. The carpets were dirty. I walked around and my feet turned black. Maybe not avoidable. But you have to try - maybe a schedule for shampooing. I know the drying is hard in your humid climate. You have so much traffic!

The room does not have a WOW factor when you walk in. It is an older building that could use a makeover. Some of the electrical faceplates were cracked or missing. Water leaked from the ceiling when I turned the shower on. The good thing is that the staff corrected the leak immediately. Staff were always good. This hotel has a lot of things going for it: My room had a great view of the Mississippi. The indoor pool is warm. Complimentary computers were available. Security is on-site and very visible. A concierge helps to arrange tours and provides maps. Canal street is only a one minute walk away and Bourbon Street about a three minute walk away. The Canal street car is very close by and the St. Charles line is very close. The rooms have safes. When you consider everything, it is a decent hotel and a nice reprieve from the outdoor business.

The hotel is next to Bourbon St., close so many restaurants. The only thing that we did not like is the noise from outside. The room was huge the restroom was small.

The hotel overall was fine. Biggest issue was lack of hot water 2 out of 4 nights. Maintenance first said it just had to run a long time because we were at the end of the hall but this was after two tepid showers. Plus others had the same issue. Other staff were friendly and helpful in person and made it a good experience. The bodega across the street makes it feel a little sketchy but we never had a problem. Being so close to Canal makes it easy for the homeless to drift in.

Nice place and very convenient to French Quarter. All staff very nice and helpful. Only complaint was loud ac unit and people slamming doors. I would stay again for the price.

For the amount paid, I would have expected a cleaner room and perhaps more up to date accommodation. In my room (1123) there was a dirty used towel hanging behind the door in the bathroom, a dirty sock on the floor, dust on the window seal, and dirt in the bathroom corners. The mattress needs replacing because the foot of the bed was higher than the head of the bed so I had to use the pillows to elevate my head to keep from feeling like I was sleeping upside down. Above my bed, a chunk of the ceiling was severely cracked and looked like it could fall at any time. Lastly, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling in several areas. Some definite TLC is needed.

No fridge in room and Ice machine on our floor was broken. Otherwise clean and very close to Bourbon Street and excellent restaurants. Would recommend this hotel if you want to be in the thick of New Orleans.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there was not a refrigerator in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff is professional and make one feel secure. Parking was done by valet. Security is obvious without being intrusive.

This hotel was convenient to the French Quarter tourist area but it was a marginal area safety wise. There were a lot of sketchy people hanging around. There was a liquor/convenience store across the street which attracted said sketchy people. The hotel had security and at the door and they made sure only hotel guests entered. There is a restaurant next door to hotel and that was convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

My overall stay was just ok. I did not know before I booked that the rooms did not have a microwave or refrigerator. This was major because a lot of leftovers were wasted. We also had to request the room to be cleaned 3 separate times. I probably won’t stay here again.

Bathroom is dated but clean, i recommended removing carpet and replace with tile. Capet was clean, but emitted a weird odor like most old carpet does. Overal i had a pleasant stay.
