The heat in my room did not work which I didn't realize until I settled in for the night. I only stayed on night and reported it to the staff in the morning.

Great experience

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff, newly renovated rooms
Location: Close to the Cutting Room
Great experience at the Park South. We stayed 2 comfortable nights where the rooms were nicely appointed. It was close to where we needed to be and for us within walking distance of Times Square and Grand Central Station. Staff were excellent. They were very friendly, helpful and quick to fulfill our requests. Although they are undergoing renovations we did not let that detour from our experience. We would definitely return in the future and look forward to seeing the hotel with the renos finished.

Convenient location,quiet enough to sleep.

Pros: Great location,quiet room,free breakfast,friendly staff.
Location: Super convenient location, just a 1/2 block to the #6 subway and walking distance,at least for us, to Penn Station,Grand Central and the High Line.
My beau and I just spent 2 nights here and were completely happy with our choice. It's small enough to feel personal, they offer a decent free breakfast, the beds are comfy and it's 1/2 a block to the #6 subway line. There's great, inexpensive restaurants nearby and if you like Indian food like we do, you will have your pick. Yes, the rooms are small, and ours didn't have any view, but it was clean, comfortable, quiet and had good hot water in the shower-always a plus!I never come to NYC intending to spend much time in the room,so the size isn't an issue. They're doing some renovations on the first floor, which we were not affected by.

Pros: very accomodating, clean, comfortable
Cons: nothing
Location: Midtown South, near grand central, right on 6 train. close to many good restaurants
Was able to check in early for my first nights stay. Changed rooms for second night as another person was joining, and was able to check in immediately upon check out from first room. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean, large, and comfortable.

Pros: location, location, location. And the roof is a gem.
Location: South Park Avenue to the west of the hotel, Madison Square Park a short walk and the 6 train right on the corner.
Even with the hotel under renovation the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. And other than the ground floor, where the major work appeared to be taking place, the other parts of the hotel were well kept.

Excellent location for walking around New York.

Friendly helpful staff. Great view from the roof top bar if a little expensive but then it is New York. The only criticism is the lack of complementary drinks either in the room or lobby which wily have been appreciated
