Norah Head Cottage
The hosts John and Jenny were fantastic from the moment we arrived. Very welcoming and also providing local information which allowed us to visit some very pleasant spots during our stay. They also offered many little extras which made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend this little gem.

We had a really lovely two nights without our kids staying in this quaint little cottage. The layout and amenities, cleanliness, privacy and overall feel of the place was spot on. The local beach was perfect for swimming with gentle rolling waves, and the beach walks were absolutely perfect for unwinding. We stayed local one night and went to the Entrance another night for dinner, but enjoyed both local cafes in walking distance for breakfast, and indulged in the local patisserie pies for lunch. Some thoughts to make the stay a 10/10 - a mattress upgrade (bed was ok but did sink in the middle noticeably) and perhaps some clear timings for use around the shared pool. On arrival we went to change and jump in the pool, but was beat to the post by the host family. As guests we would find it a little less awkward if there was clear host vs guest time allocations, or pre-communicated timings to use the pool without feeling like we were impeding others use! Overall we highly recommend this cottage and would stay again.

Winter stay at Norah Head
We had a wonderful time enjoying the various walks along the coast and to the lighthouse. The property was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the surprise breakfast package. Will look to come back and have recommended to friends.

Lovely stay, again

Perfect getaway
Such a lovely property with all the essentials provided for an amazing holiday. The pool so beautiful and warm and the Norah heads area and rock pools were spectacular. Will definitely be coming back!

A little piece of paradise.
A beautiful cottage, peaceful and quiet and relaxing. Everything is high quality and Jenny and John are there if you need anything. So close to beaches, the lighthouse, cafes and restaurants and easy walking to everything. I would definitely go back again. Pamela

Serendipity
A beautiful little gem. Lovingly maintained and thoughtfully presented. So close to beaches and strip of shops and restaurants. Owners John and Jenny are lovely; respectful of privacy, yet clearly there if needed. I loved the lighthouse and beach walks at sunrise and coming back to the cottage to read in the cosy sunny corner. I’ll definitely stay again!

Perfect stay away for you and your partner! So close to the beach’s and restaurants:)
Such an easy simple stay away for the weekend , has a pool for after you return home from the beach and just want to sit in the water and relax. Aircon and fan work perfectly! Would stay again! Only recommendation is the outside cleanliness is a 3/5 , few spider webs over majority of the outdoor area but besides this was awesome for a weekend hideaway!

This was such a lovely location for a short getaway. Jenny and John provided everything we needed for a lovely stay - toaster, kettle, tea and even a fresh loaf of bread! They also have an amazing guidebook of the local area which has plenty of beautiful walks and beaches. Thank you for a great stay!

Fantastic cottage
We loved Norah Head Hideaway Cottage for our anniversary weekend away. Perfect location a stone's throw from the beach and very well appointed accommodation with nice unexpected extras included such as bread, yoghurt and Sheridan towels. Highly recommended.

Just 15 minutes walk to Norah Head Lighthouse
Thank you Jenny and John for your lovely cottage presented in a clean, cosy style. It was so comfortable, I was able to relax and enjoy my 4 day visit to Norah Head. A pretty location with lots of different walks. John and a Jenny are lovely hosts.

Great locality and location!
Property is as described, great, well located and well appointed, with surprise, unexpected supplies in the fridge and bread! Very comfortable, easy walk to beach and even the club. Only gripe was that the address didn't't seem to be conveyed, or maybe that's just me! Do it, or go back again!

FANTASTIC IN ALL WAYS
Five stars is not enough for this fabulous property. It is in a terrific location near beaches with shops within walking distance. The property was spotless and very comfortable and had everything we could possibly want. The managers were wonderfully friendly and were able to give us information on the area making our stay terrific.

We are glad you liked our place although it was a shame it was during the extreme fire danger weather of the last week. At Hideaway Cottage we are trying to minimise our environment foot print. We have solar hot water, tank water for toilet and outdoor use and PV panels with a battery on our electrical system. Our cottage has louvre windows all round to let the sea breeze waft through, ceiling fans in living area and bedroom. There is a swimming pool if you need a dip. Will installing air conditioning solve our problems or compound them?
