Not a bad hotel, not a great hotel.

Little further away from the main area of Waikiki than I would like. Rooms were nice/clean. Good views. Food options within hotel not great and bar closes very early.

Love this hotel

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: The location, the view of the ocean, all the friendly helpful staffs are the reason why we stayed at this hotel.
Cons: None
Location: Ala Moana shopping center is within walking distance. Chart House, Red Lobsters, and other restaurants are 5 to 10 minutes from the hotel.
Hawaii Prince hotel is the only hotel we will stay whenever we go to Hawaii which is about every 2 years. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Also, this is one of the very few hotels that has smoking rooms. The room is clean and the view from the room is very beautiful. We really loved looking at the ocean and Ala Moana park and beach. Also, we enjoyed eating at one of their restaurant, Prince Court. Love this hotel.

Nice hotel

Cons: The only downside would be a lack of fun activities to do onsite, but the pool is nice. There's not too much else onsite.
Location: Close to world class eateries and shopping in Waikiki and Ala Moana Center.
This is an excellent hotel with great restaurants, friendly and professional staff, clean rooms

The staff and view were really nice. The room needs to be updated. Clean but in need of work. Wallpaper was starting to come off at seams and tile grout needed to be scrubbed. No kleenex in the room.

Great Hotel! Convenient to Waikiki and Shopping.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Good location, between parks, beaches and shopping. Plus the wonderful views, day and night.
Cons: Nothing serious to improve upon, but shuttles to Waikiki could run more often and expanded hours would be nice.
Location: Located at the end of Waikiki, close to the shopping complex, a large beach park, and numerous eateries within walking distance.
Short three-night stay, but facilities were clean and comfortable. Walking distance to shopping and several good to mid-range restaurants. We enjoyed the views of the harbor and enclosed water recreation lagoon/park next to the harbor. Downtown and Waikiki Beach were a short shuttle ride (free) from the hotel, so we utilized the rental vehicle only for our drive around to North Shore and Diamondhead. With the anticipated landfall of the twin Hurricanes (Iselle and Julio) during our stay, the Hotel keep everyone well informed with flyers, poster boards, and even set up a large screen news feed 24/7 in lobby. In addition, the staff went out of their way to make everyone, especially those who were rescheduled or stuck, comfortable during the delays. Overall we had a great time during our stay in Oahu, and we would definitely stay at the Prince Hotel again.
