Affordable Waikiki HotelPosted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Location is great, view from our room was amazing.
Cons: Hotel feels dated, not improved since the 90s. Not huge deal, but a remodel would help.
Location: Close to beaches, walking distance to central Waikiki and resorts. They own a golf course and great deal on package.
The Prince was a great option for us, central to Waikiki but didn't break the bank. Although not directly on the beach, there are several within easy walking distance. We had friends at the Hilton Hawaiin and were able to walk over and use the beach there during the day. If you are looking for a place that is clean and comfortable without the high resort costs, I recommend the Prince. Great golf deal as well.

Quiet, ocean view, easy access to kidney dialysisPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: See above.
Cons: I really missed having a microwave or access to one. I like to reheat food and they could place a general use oven in the upper area of the pool.
Location: Watch the marina activity. Shuttle to Ala Moana and Royal Hawaiian Center. Nearby beach. Hilton does fireworks on Fridays.
Great concierge. She helped me plan trips to dialysis and nearby diversions for me while husband was on dialysis. Great doormen. Always helped us. Good location for short walks to restaurants and lovely pool. Much less hectic than the rest of Waikiki.

I am assuming this hotel is owned by Japanese firm. The hotel staff were friendly and very courteous. I would recommend to anyone.

Good hotel - good locationPosted Apr 10, 2015
Really happy with location being close to Ala Moana for shopping and quiet away from the main town of Waikiki. Free shuttle bus was great otherwise an easy walk to town along the beach. Close to the lagoon and the start of Waikiki beach. Loved the ocean front view and opening windows - no need for a balcony - the sunsets were beatiful from our room. Pool was good with marina view and great sun loungers!

Amazing viewsPosted Apr 9, 2015
The hotel was very nice and the views were amazing. The location was very close and convenient to downtown. The only bad thing that I could say is that the rooms were a little dated which made the rooms a little too expensive. I would stay again but it would have to be in a cheaper room.

Dated hotelPosted Apr 6, 2015
Cons: Up date the place, and clean everything, including dust the place.
Location: You need to like to walk if you stay here, or arrange transportation.
Bed are not queen's, we were in three rooms, every room had the wall paper coming off. This is not a 4 star, maybe a 3 if u push it.
