Great staff, comfy beds, close to beach.Posted Oct 12, 2014
We enjoyed our time at Waikiki Resort Hotel. Although it's not on the beach front, it was still only a 2 minute stroll to the beach. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the hotel is close to good restaurants and shopping.

good older hotelPosted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: Close to the beach without actually being on the beach.
Cons: Free internet so that we could check our departing flight status
Wonderful guest relations staff (Nancy) made all the difference to our stay. The door to the deck needed new rollers installed as did quite a few other rooms as we could hear the scraping of several others. The beds were super comfortable, and the room super clean. This is a good older hotel, and yes I would stay there again.

It was my sixth visit to Honolulu and the hotel is located close to many restaurants, the beach, and the Diamond Head .

Good hotel right near the beachPosted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Room including bed was comfortable; good room service; location to beach and surrounding area that included places to shop and eat.
Cons: One major thing that needs improvement is the lack of air-conditioning in the lobby, hallways, and elevators. A/C in the room was fine.
Location: Waikiki Beach and a long stretch of shopping outlets are nearby including a big mall. Good places to eat including the Cheesecake Factory.
Overall experience was good. My room was air-conditioned and comfortable. The bed was very comforting and the facilities including bathroom and shower worked fine. The staff there including front desk and room service attendants were friendly and welcoming. I really liked the fact that it is literally about 1 block from the beach, places to eat, and shopping.

Nice and close to the beachPosted Oct 4, 2014
They do not have free WiFi in rooms just in lobby. The tubs in rooms are so small could not stretch out legs while sitting in tub.

Nice Hotel overall for the price. Everything w/in walking distance. Some staff appears not to be there mentally. 4 counter staff and only 1 person paying attention to guests. Others just stood around chatting.
