Hi DavidThank you for your feedback, as you could not find accommodation elsewhere, and had to book with us because we had the availability, our guests did complain being woken up by the vehicle that left around 4 in the morning with the doors of the car being opened a number of times and slammed shut along with the beeping coming from the car..

It was very good for the price. Didn’t expect much. We had the basic microwave, kettle and a toaster. There was extra blanket and pillows in the cupboard which was good. Staff were very helpful and great to deal with.

Fantastic comfy country atmosphere
Fantastic, staff were lovely,amazing and happy to help. Staff went above and beyond all expectations and hotel was clean and tidy with a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

We arrived with a confirmation and details of our booking through Expedia. The receptionist had no record of this. There were available rooms but no suggestion was made to accomodate us. We let and booked elsewhere . Wouldn't recommend this place as management are unwelcoming.

As discussed on your arrival, that no paperwork had been sent through our Channel Manager. As you had booked through Wotif, and claiming a special deal for the Room Type you had booked, we have not dealt with Wotif for a few years and is one of many affiliated sites associated with Expedia. We have not posted any special deals with any of these sites ever, the booking should have never gone through the system to you for the price claimed and if you look into the Expedia Site for Oakey Motel, the price for the particular room you booked is shown as explained at the time. The Room Type you had booked, there was no availability, only our Queen / Double Rooms at the time were available but you wanted a room similar to what you booked. You were not charged for the booking, and as you had stated your function was in Toowoomba, so you would find accommodation closer to the Function that you were attending.

Very close to centre of town.
Welcomed warmly by staff on arrival. Lovely garden area for relaxing with a cool drink. Lots of bird life when we were there. Beautiful gardens and lawn area.

beyond the call of duty !!!
stayed at motel for work in toowoomba, gave me fresh milk as requested, i broke my foot at work place and in the morning they put my kettle on for me !!!! have to have a.m. cofffee. and helped me load my car with my belongings and gave me a pillow to elevate my foot. fantastic service and great people, thanks marg and ben xxx

Much appreciated rest stop on a long journey
Only stayed the one night in Oakey to visit friends and hotel suited us perfectly. We needed three separate beds and hotel was able to accommodate us. Very handy to have the kitchenette in the room. Overall a very comfortable rest stop on our journey. Staff were friendly and helpful and will stay there again next time we are passing through. Being in the front room though we probably caught more of the truck noise from the main road in the early morning.

I am pleased you found your room comfortable and suited your needs. I am sorry about the noise from the traffic. It is the only Family Room we have here at the Motel. All the Motels in Oakey are on the main road, we seem to get the traffic more some mornings than others. Look forward to seeing you when pass through again. Regards Marg

The service offered by the owners is outstanding. They are visible during the day, always at work and offer any assistance Basic motel rooms but perfect for a work stay at Oakey

Owner operated gem in Oakey
Really enjoyed the stay at Oakey Motel Owners were friendly and helpful whin I booked in Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Facilities were basic but a very good country motel Will definitely stay again

Nice motel in Oakey Qld
The Oakey Motel is a great place to say. We have stayed there twice now and service has been great both times. The Managers are friendly helpful people and also great cooks for those who don't want to stray to far from the motel in search of meals.

Great place Great stay
we stayed for 2 nights to attend the jackie howe golden shears festival and was treated in an exceptionally friendly and courteous manner and needed for nothing.The meals were delicious and were promptly served. Parking was easy as was getting in and out of the motel and only a few minutes from the shops and highlights of Oakey

We were travelling further West and Oakey was our choice of town rather than Toowoomba.
