Check in was nice and easy. There is parking on the street and we were lucky to find a space right in front of the B&B but there are only about 6 spots so you might end up parking a ways away and having to walk. Our room was quite small, to the point where we couldn't have our luggage open and move around the room. The breakfast is a to-go bag of yogurt, croissants and a couple snack bars, so if you are wanting a fresh made meal, this is not the place for you. The gentlemen who checked us in was helpful in pointing us to short cuts through the city, so that was nice. There was nothing wrong with this B&B, I just probably wouldn't stay here again.

From the moment I arrived at Blair Villa Bed and Breakfast, I was enchanted by its charming ambiance and beautifully decorated and curated interiors, which exuded warmth and welcome. The owners were friendly, warm, and helpful, making my stay not just comfortable but truly memorable. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was cozy, with an updated bathroom with hot water and admirable water pressure – a true luxury after a day of exploring Oban. The breakfast, a delightful assortment of yogurt, croissants, fruit, and granola bars, was conveniently delivered daily to the mini-fridge in my room. While it was not a hot breakfast, it was thoroughly satisfying and the perfect start to my mornings. The bed deserves a special mention for its comfort and the fluffiest pillows. This B&B's prime location in Oban is unbeatable, and while there is no designated parking, finding a free spot was surprisingly easy during my visit. For anyone considering a visit to Oban, I cannot recommend Blair Villa Bed and Breakfast highly enough. It truly represents what a B&B should be – charming, comfortable, and with a personal touch that makes your stay unforgettable. A prime location with easy access to everything Oban has to offer, this B&B is a must-stay. Looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing little find! Lovely room, it was very cozy and the whole house is beautiful with so much character. Host was very kind and recommended us some good pubs! The bag breakfast in the morning was also very nice!

Everything was superb. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The rooms were very clean and maintained to a very high standard. The continental breakfast in the mini fridge was excellent. Only a short walk down the hill to the main streets of Oban.

We had an excellent one night stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was all very warm and pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and it was a good location. We loved the furniture and artwork lovely to see. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home, lovely room with comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast was disappointing, simply a paper bag with yogurt, croissants, fruit, cheese, granola bars. We still enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts were lovely but didn’t introduce themselves or seem to want to chat.

I was so grateful to find this absolute gem! Incredibly clean, comfortable, charming. Private bath in every room. Hosts so kind and accommodating (held my luggage on check-out day while i finished activities in town). Cold breakfast snacks in fridge. Tea/coffee and shortbread in room. Easy walk from rail station (though up a steep hill). I loved my time in Oban and this lovely place to stay was a big part.

Incredible thought to detail and so hospitable
Stayed for two nights during a work trip, Alec was so welcoming and informative. The level of detail of the room and hotel amenity design, furniture, panoramic occasional room and quality was superb (we actually thought that we were away on a mini luxury retreat). Its rare to find accommodation where you feel like a guest that is truly welcomed and looked after. We cant wait to return to Oban and stay at the Blair Villa South again. Thanks

Beautiful Victorian house with comfortable rooms and luxurious modern bathrooms. The room had charming decorations and a comfortable bed, and even included a floor-standing fan, which was a huge relief when the day we stayed turned out to be unusually warm. The owners were nice, friendly people. The location is great, just a little up the hill from the train station, ferry terminal, and city center of Oban, on a quiet residential street.

A quiet, lived-in and lovely place in Oban. The place is charming and easily walkable to all Oban has to offer, but with easy parking to stash your car. We only stayed for a night during 2022 so didn't access/use any common areas, but our room was cozy and had everything we needed.

Decorated in a traditional style Blair Villa is clean and comfy B&B. Good service and location although it os on a pretty steep hill so bear this in mind. Take away breakfast is in mini fridge in your room.

Beautiful home with an art and antiques that enriched the experience. Host was helpful and friendly. I did leave a pair of earrings behind, that the host put in an envelop on our suitcase, which was very thoughtful. But we were told upon leaving by the other host, that they were a delivery for someone else, and not ours. We should have looked in the packet before we left. Is it possible for the host to mail us these earrings - not valuable but have special meaning. If so we will supply address. Thank you Judith and Mark

Had such an amazing stay here! Owners were so lovely, gave excellent recommendations of what to do around Oban. I stayed in the middle of a heat wave so they were kind enought to put a fan in the room too! On the day of check out they let me leave my bag so I could explore without lugging it around. Its up a little hill but its well worth for the view of the harbour and Mull from the room. Would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!

Price should reflect no hot breakfast.
Pros: Clean and comfortable room with self controlled heat. Nice guest lounge. 5 minute walk to town center. Cons: Cold reception by host. Bagged breakfast of container of yogurt, plastic wrapped croissant, banana and sugary snack bar: supermarket items with price tags on some of them. Learn some hospitality skills and start cooking your guests breakfast again like all the other bnb's are doing!
