As a new establishment, we anticipate initial challenges, and feedback from our guests plays a pivotal role in refining our services.We particularly appreciate honest and trustworthy feedback, as it provides us with genuine insights into areas where we can enhance the quality of our services. Unfortunately, when feedback contains inaccuracies or deliberate misrepresentations, it paints a poor and misleading image of our hotel, hindering our ability to make meaningful improvements.It's crucial to clarify that Sago Palm Hotel is not an all-inclusive property. Our offering is a Full American Plan (FAP), covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. You booked a FAP (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Additional meals and alcohol drinks were charged separately as it was beyond the plan you paid for. You were aware of the policies.It is essential to address the issues in a factual manner:• you were expected to adhere to the terms of your reservation in which you were aware of, including charges for additional occupants.• Attempting to evade charges for meals and drinks for an unauthorized family member is against our policies. Your reservation was for 3 paid persons, yet you tried to sneak in an additional person (your nephew) as the fourth person to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner for free. You broke the rules and policy of our hotel and were explained that to have an overnight guest you had to pay for them to eat all 3 meals daily.• Your Daily interactions with staff included positive feedback about your room and food service were reported by you, making your statements surprising.• Specific incidents of excellent service, such as your family member enjoying the meal to the extent of licking the plate in the Restaurant were noted by the restaurant staff• A continued thorough investigation revealed further inconsistencies and deliberate misrepresentations. Our front office staff is on property and available 24/7 for all guests. You reported an issue with the AC unit. It was promptly reported to Maintenance, however, you declined maintenance personnel in the room to inspect the AC unit as you afterwards stated it was working fine.• Closets and bathroom lighting are standard amenities provided in all rooms.• Any shortage of utensils or equipment could have been rectified by informing housekeeping or the front desk if more were needed for your use.• The hotel offers a diverse menu with varying options each day, including international and Jamaican cuisine. You specifically requested and ordered Jamaican breakfast daily even though we offer eggs, pancakes and other varieties.
