We love staying at The Pony! The pool opened the first day we got there for the season. Everything was perfect and clean! Will definitely be back soon.

No complaints. We were in a newer two story building; the room was very nice and clean. We were also there during the off-season, but Roger at the desk told us which restaurants were open and to be sure to prepare for breakfast (which we purchased from the general store across the street and enjoyed in the room). Within easy walking distance to sops and restaurants.

A well located property and the room was very nice and we enjoyed the showers hot water A short distance from ferry dock, Ocracoke lighthouse, Jasons restaurant and a variety story where just down the street. It was still off season so many places not open yet. We had a great time at the beach there where more vehicles cruising the beaches than people walking on them.

The man who checked us in was very friendly and informative. We had a room with a kitchen and two double beds. It had everything we needed to prepare our dinner and breakfast; important since most restaurants were not open at the end of February. We really liked Okracoke Island and hope to return (and would stay at the Pony Island Inn).

As we discussed when you came to checkout, if you had told me of your unhappiness at any time we would have taken care of it immediately. I saw and spoke to you and your wife daily. The front desk staff was EXCEPTIONAL!!! I cannot say enough about their kindness and hospitality. They helped us understand the Hatteras Ferry schedules so we would not miss it for our son's basketball game. The room we stayed in was super clean, cozy, and just what we needed. We will stay again! :)

Enjoyed all shopping and restaurants close by. 1718 Brewery hosted great Halloween Party. Will definitely come back!! Mattress could have been better.

The folks there are outstanding. We had an issue with rental car and lost car keys and phones. Grayson, Roger, Kim, Chris and Gary were so caring. Let my wife and i use their phone, stay an extra night, took messages for us and directed us to people on the island that could help. Enterprise left us without a car ...for 3 days . The people there were so wonderful to us. My wife and I very highly recommended The Pony Island inn to stay at on Ocracoke Island. Thanks so much from the bottom of our hearts for caring about us.

Ocracoke’s Best!
We had a second-floor two-queen room and it was clean, comfy, good ac! Staff was great and we love being first in line at the only breakfast joint on the island, pony island restaurant!
